If I cared about what was better I'd just roll a scrapper or blaster...

Anybody running this build have a mids build handy? Haven't played water before and only played bio once and it was on a scrapper so looking for ideas.

I’ve got one I can post later when on computer. I want to redo it to take 1 thousand cuts just cause I like it and it’s fun for more aoe goodness.

My first sentinel is dp/sr. He is a neo rip off. Has flurry 6 slotted. That being said though the toon is a shit ton of fun. Like others have said, I’d proc out your st attacks. I’ve played /nin on scrap and stalker but not sentinel. Sr is great on anything though but unless your in it for thematic reasons I’d take sr instead. There is something I like about having at least one melee attack on my sentinels. I just respec’d my beam/inv and miss the one melee attack. being able to skip piercing rounds is good. I was skipping it regardless as the animation is just plain dumb. I know they are all over the top but that one is just plain stupid.

Yeah Granite only. MA is super fun, especially on a stoner. Storm kick buffing all def 10% on a tank is just gravy. The tank resist proc is always on at least once. Half the time it is double stacked. Every now and again it's triple stacked but doesn't last but a second or two.

I needed to respec my stoner for the new combat tp, finally. It is awesome btw. Anyway, ended up making this and it is awesome. Just thought I'd share. Here is the DB/SR that I might end up going with if you're still interested in a build. It is 3 seconds off perma hasten and has 59%+ incarnate soft cap defense, but has to use agility alpha. I usually take musculature on scrappers but this might be worth it not to on this guy. I'm currently leveling up db/sr. Haven't made a build yet though. I have db/ea but /ea is not great imo. It is good, just not great.

Almost never. I for sure wouldn't slot it. It is a good place to throw a proc though if you have an extra power choice and need the spot.

I'd do DB/SR. Wont obstruct your costume any and helps get perma hasten easier/cheaper. I have a DB/EA. While I like playing him, I wish I'd have just rolled DB/SR. You can turn the stealth cloak off when you're not fighting. You can skip it all together if you'd like. The rest will still affect your characters look no matter how you set it on /EA though.

I have a PSI/SD and it is fun. Did the same thing as mentioned above and made a bright pink energy shield to match the bright pink I did for psy attacks.

I have a spines/bio that is super fun now but sucked leveling. I have an Ice/spines tanks. I like those two cause they have two damage auras. Friend of mines main is spines/regen and he never dies. Regen is totally good though.

I just tried /ea out myself. I love the primary but /ea just sucks in my opinion. New ea primary is cool. I’d roll ea/sr. My /ea is sturdy enough but I just find myself wishing I’d made it /sr instead. I made an ea/inv and it is a lot of fun.

I have an ice spines and he is great. Two damage auras that both slow.

I have a rad/elec defender I've had forever. I just always forgot sparky. Like always. Or I'd remember then he'd be gone and I'd forget for another 10 minutes. I got rid of it on the defender. I get it. It's a cool power but I just always forget it is there. I'll look at switching those two.

Might do the Decimation build up proc instead of the self heal in the first attack.

I have a dp/sr sentinel and it is a blast.

I also have a ar/ta he is named Thraxo. I loved the buffs to /ta. Glue arrow into oil slick into flamethrower into full auto is insane fun. I tried Lrm and it using same gun was a no for me after that. I took force mastery for the toggle. If anyone would have capped smashing or lethal damage resistance I’m positive it would be Rambo.

Does slotting more than one of these in a passive power help? I thought I had read somewhere that it doesn't but wanted to confirm before I respec. I couldn't find by searching so thought this would also help in the future for others searching.
