  1. ooooooooooooooooooooooooo Storm/Storm
  2. Like an energy blaster Like a stormie’s breeze Controllers making it so that the mobs can’t move Upsetting brutes with the greatest of ease Players make up their own game rationale And if they think it’s bad then it’s all over pal If one guy’s powers and the other’s don’t mix They’re gonna bash it up, bash it up, bash it up, bash it up Hey, you don’t have any IO sets? 3. This whole time I've been working on getting 1 Tank of each primary set to level 50. So far I've finished Stone Armor, Radiation Armor, Electric Armor, Super Reflexes, Invulnerability, Ice Armor, Fiery Aura, and Willpower. Current status of those remaining: Dark Armor (43), Bio Armor (36), Shield Defense (32). I'm having a lot of fun with Dark Armor and Bio Armor, but my current Shield Defense toon has been sitting at 32 for a long time. Might have to re-roll a new concept. I have two lvl 50 Shield Defense Scrappers and two lvl 50 Shield Defense Brutes, but the Tank just isn't clicking for me.
  4. I reached out to the expert on this. Omega Mop says there's nothing in there but normal janitorial chemicals and equipment. Definitely NOT the Pocket D infinite barfer's body. He was "gently escorted off the premises and delivered to a proper medical facility to receive treatment for over a decade's worth of alcohol poisoning". Yup that's what happened.
  5. Proc the heck outta Bitter Freeze Ray. You can throw in 3 Change for Damage from Hold sets (Neuronic Shutdown, Gladiator's Net, Ghost Widow's Embrace), 1 from Slow, and Gladiator's Javelin. Put Tough, Weave, and Combat Jumping into your build Add in the normal stuff: Shield Wall 5% Resistance Steadfast Protection 3% Defense Gladiator's Armor 3% Defense Preventative Medicine Absorb Proc I would focus on reaching softcap of defense for smashing/lethal and try and get as much smashing / lethal resistance as possible. Useful sets for this include Luck of the Gambler, Unbreakable Guard, Preventative Medicine
  6. My kid and I have been having fun with a Mastermind and Sentinel duo. Pretty forgiving all around.
  7. I am level 42 and sympathize with your endurance problems. My toon eats blues like cookie monster eats cookies. Here's my current build: Not really sure where I am going to go from here. I was thinking about maybe putting more recharge into Conserve power and adding unleash potential with my 44,47, and 49 power picks. 8. Some of my favorite LEGO sets have come from fans submitting their ideas through the LEGO Ideas process. At a high level the way it works is an Idea contributor submits their idea for a new LEGO set and the community can vote to support it. Once an idea gets enough community support, the set is then evaluated by LEGO and some eventually get approved for development and released as real sets by LEGO. So I propose that when a suggestion is submitted here, the community can show support by liking the OP's post. At the end of a certain time period (maybe a month or a quarter) any suggestions that have exceeded a certain like threshold (30 likes? I dunno) get put into a poll that is an official community poll. The top 2 or 3 of the suggestions that come out on top of the poll are then evaluated by the developer team. And sometimes LEGO comes back and says, "This set, while cool, just wouldn't work because of these technical reasons". And that would probably happen a lot here. But sometimes you get a really cool new LEGO set.
  9. Back in my day one of the most popular ways to level as a lowbie was to street sweep on a team in Perez Park. And you couldn't just e-mail influence to yourself. Oh no. You had to get a buddy to help you do as many 99,999 transactions as either of you could stand. We didn't have fancy capes or auras, and if you wanted to get anywhere you had to walk your butt from the yellow line to the green line in steel canyon. And god help you if you got the defeat 10 CoT in Kings Row mission. You had to take the 30 flights of fire escape up to the rooftop or pray to god you found a high level kinetic with inertial reduction. And if you made a bad build choice, that was it. You just had to deal with it or re-roll.
  10. I would go: Elite Boss Villain / Hero Archvillain / Super Hero
  11. I find the delta between the EB version of an opponent and the AV version of the opponent to be very large no matter who or what level the opponent is. I find fighting an EB is much much much closer to fighting a boss than fighting an AV (e.g., on the difficulty scale in my OP I would have most bosses at a 2, most EBs at a 3, with AVs / Heroes at 10). Where would you put EBs? Do you feel they are closer to a 7 or 8?
  12. I agree that Nosferatu, Veles, and Longbow Ballistas are good examples of tougher EBs. I wish more EBs were like them.
  13. On my DPS toons I can usually get past Chernobog and Morana as AVs (my go to strategy is to use medium lucks to cap defenses) but by the time I get to Veles I always have to crank it down to EB.
  14. I think this video also illustrates the difference between an AV and an EB 😂
  15. The way I've been thinking about this is classifying the opposition on a 0-10 challenge scale, with 0 being minions and AVs / Heroes being a 10. I feel that on this scale Elite Bosses are about a 3. I was thinking that I would prefer EBs to be more in the 7-8 range on the scale. My reason for bringing this up is that I like to solo story arcs so I can take my time and really read all the clues and contact stories etc. However, I often find it anti-climatic when I get to the end of this giant RWZ storyarc that has led me through 4 contacts and culminates in this huge battle with a Rikti Warlord and then whoa! cutscence shows up, but then I defeat the EB big baddies easily and quickly. When I switch the difficulty to AV I typically have to pull out all the tricks. The envenomed daggers (hopefully I remembered to stock up!). The inspirations. The Tier IV Lore Pet. Do I have any War Wolf Whistles left? I guess I was just wondering if anyone else felt that EBs are much closer to a boss than an AV. A fight with EB Nemesis is barely more challenging than a fight with a Fake Nemesis boss. I'd like that Epic Boss fight to be , well a little more epic, but without me needing to make sure I have the perfect recipe of -regen and temp powers on hand. To sum, I feel like when soloing that final boss fight I'm stuck choosing either "Can I play Daddy?" or "I am Death Incarnate" and it would be cool to have the "Bring 'em on!" option.
  16. I am standing by, ready to punch the things.
  17. Have you tried SS? Take Hasten, add some LoTGs in there, and then go to town with a proc'ed out rage fueled footstomp that recharges every few seconds. And you have KO blow for whatever boss is left.
  18. Had a lot of fun! That Terra Volta room is always a blast.
  19. See you were thinking storylines I was thinking Man I want to see Freak Tanks punching Greater Devoured.
  20. Yes, I was in Granite and at about 40% on Negative Energy Defense. Only at 19% for the Electric Armor tank.
  21. Thanks all! That makes sense. I was confused because the other tank on the team didn't appear to be getting stunned (perhaps I was attracting all the aggro) and my stone / ax tank wasn't stunned the few times he ran this (but the difficulty was probably only +1 so I guess the mag 100 stun kept missing)
  22. Sign me up for hordes of DE assaulting the Freakshow Shanty town in Crey's Folly. Let's put Dreck in charge of Carnival Town and Terra in charge of the DE and let's gooooooooooooo
  23. I was running a 4/8 Dr. Kahn TF with my Electric Armor / Super Strength Tank. Everything was super smooth until the fight with Reichsman. I was repeatedly Stunned during the fight, and twice I was killed very quickly (too quickly to make a BF and hit Energize for example). I'm not familiar enough with Reichsman to understand how he was doing this. I've tanked this TF with other powersets previously and not encountered this. My build is below if it helps.
