  1. Nope. The bad guy arc takes place after the events of the hero arc and after Posi 2. So Dr. Vahz is locked up in Brickstown. As good as the hero arc is, I think the villain arc is even better. There are some great fight sequences and I absolutely love how your previous actions in the game influence how some of the story plays out.
  2. My main baddie on Live was named Devourer. Homecoming had been going for a year before I discovered it so it was taken on Everlasting. After a two minute brainstorm session I decided to do a play on Nemesis?: Devourer? 10 years ago, after a long and infamous career, the villain known as Devourer disappeared. Six months ago a woman bearing remarkable physical similarities and powersets to Devourer appeared in Paragon City. However this time she appeared to be fighting on the side of angels. Is this the same woman who once terrorized the streets of Paragon City? Has the Butcher of Brickstown truly reformed? Or is she perhaps a clone or a robot impersonator or a visitor from an alternate reality? Only time will tell. About once a month I try to rename her. Maybe one day I'll be able to visit Null the Gull and release evil on Paragon's citizens once more. In the meantime, sure I guess I'll go clear out that Council base again.
  3. Ooooo I forgot about Ki-Push + Blast. I love that one!
  4. What are your favorite powers to use back to back in terms of animation? My favorite is Heavy Mallet followed by Stone Mallet from Stone Melee. When your foe is hit by Heavy Mallet they are knocked up into the air and then land on their back, at which point you use Stone Mallet, which looks like you are then pounding them into the ground. A close second is using lift from Gravity Control and following it up with Force Bolt from Force Field. I love tossing Hellions straight up into the air with Lift, and then seeing how far I can knock them back with Force Bolt while they are still airborne.
  5. LR wrecked my SR tank (multiple two shots kills), but he was only lvl 49 at the time and the build was focused more on regen than resistance. I'll have to respec and give it a go with a resistance focused build.
  6. My stoner tanked the fully towered up LR with no issues. My health bar barely moved. No issues with two groups of 4X8 Rularuu. I love doing this one particular mission in the Pandora's signature arc where the aggro limits seem to be ignored and the ambushes just keep coming. Once the vengeances start stacking it gets really fun because I have to use Earth's Embrace and the Melee Hybrid incarnate power.
  7. Two Tar Patches, each reducing res by 39.9%
  8. Went in feeling pretty cocky. Got wrecked.
  9. Action Ken's bio: "A stray bolt of magic hit this child's toy turning it into an 8 foot tall giant with 22 points of precise articulation. Tired of his life of waiting in the car outside of shopping malls and bachelorette parties, this former doll has decided to become a man of action." Unfortunately for all of Paragon City's citizens, Action Ken's clothes were not embiggened by the same magic bolt.
  10. Sometimes I just keep knocking the gates off the hinges near Penny Yin in IP. I don't know why.
  11. Thanks so much for doing this. Had fun running through with several toons. Baroness Nemesis wanted to let you know that she really enjoyed the pool / hot tub area and that you can keep the horse. She got a new one.
  12. I take many different routes to level 15. But it all leads to the same moment in space and time. Fusionette must be saved.
  13. Prior to this fix, the initial Prisoner spawn contained a few bosses. Now it just contains LTs and minions. Was this intended?
  14. So this is fun. I decided to make Tavern Witch (Stephanie Peebles' alter ego). The ring on her brooch is of course the wedding band. I went Magic Sentinel thinking Invulnerability made sense based on the ring's powers, and the psychic blast set has a lot of ring looking animations. The name is of course a play on the term Tavern Wench and is based on Peebles backstory of being born above the Mermaid Tavern on Striga Isle.
  15. I went Beam Rifle Blaster for this concept. In my case he's just a master of disguise who infiltrates and assassinates. I felt like being able to change both the appearance of the gun and the color of the beam went along way. \
  16. It was Lord Nemesis all along!
  17. Aha! This make sense to me. The buildings around Motel 666 might reduce the number of spawning zombies whereas an open place like the courtyard does not. Thanks!
  18. And Big Country made a wrong turn and um... uh-oh!
  19. So um.... one of my poor toons just sold his soul in the Witches House. Amazing time. Everyone should check this out. Very cool.
  20. On Everlasting, the ToT teams in Peregrine always move from Motel 666 to the Portal Corp Courtyard during the Zombie Apocalypse. Can someone tell me why that is? I was thinking it would be bonkers to just keep trick or treating at Motel 666 while also punching zombies. Does it just get too laggy or is there some other benefit to moving to Portal Corp?
  21. It is just a Nemesis plot.
  22. I've always wondered if the Divining Rod temp power (from Gordon Bower's Arc) would do high dmg against Ghost Widow. Probably not, but I feel like it should.
