Yeah, I know it's not fun. I was Warehouse Manager at a distribution center selling specialty steel strip. I loaded and unloaded most of the trucks. The drivers didn't like our facility. The building and parking lot were laid out when everyone used 48' trailers. When 53' footers came along, it make backing up to our dock a bit challenging. It was all about driver skill. I watched one guy with a 53' foot trailer and full sleeper cab line it up perfectly on the first try. It literally took him about 45 seconds to back up to the dock. And I watched guys spend 40 minutes at it. Anyway, answering the OP, I am lucky enough to have retired early so I get to do whatever I want all day. 🙂

Bit of a silly statement. They're not trying to control you. They just have rules about what you can and can not do on the servers they run. Break the rules severely enough and they prevent you from playing on their servers. You don't get to choose whether or not they enforce their rules on their server. Full stop.

Okay, seems to follow the same scheduled as task forces - halving each time. Maybe I'll start taking the emp merits. I just got the second Cytoskeleton Exposure my invuln tank needed.

Obviously you misunderstood me. I never build any character around Sands of Mu and most don't use it. On characters that have few attacks (either because of build decisions or they're exemped to very low level), it can be useful. And I don't add global accuracy or to hit in order to use Sands of Mu. I use Sands of Mu on characters that have boosted acc or to hit already.

I have another question. So far, I've been taking the merit reward once and the HO once from the two raids. (I have many Emp merits.) On the second run, the reward merits are still an option. What is the diminishing return rate on the reward merits? Is it cut in half?

I think they also nerfed Trapdoor with his "bifurcate and start to regen" effect. My stone/stone tank soloed him just fine (did not need Granite, nor did I use Hasten). I brought along help mainly for the minotaur since he's a big bag of hit points. I agree that, once upon a time, Trapdoor was REALLY hard. He was challenging even to my scrapper back on live. Nowadays, not so much.

How elitist of you. Sands of Mu works FINE in an attack chain *IF* you have significant accuracy enhancement. I always use it on my tanks since they often have less attacks since they need to buy many other powers for survival. So, to anyone who uses Sands of Mu in their attack chain, I say, Go for it. It's a fine attack as long as you aren't missing a lot and that depends on the rest of your build.

Worth noting: You can add a 'local friend' at will. To add a 'global friend', you send a global friend invitation and they must accept it. Otherwise, it would be an invasion of privacy.

There are a few issues here. 1) Homecoming can take no actions via YouTube, Twitch or any other such service as they do not own the IP. NCSoft would have to act. 2) The only thing HC can do is take action against the perpetrator's account. 3) *IF* they can identify the miscreant. On a side note, streaming content from an unlicensed servers is against the ToS of most or all streaming services, so they're already breaking the service's rules. But, again, HC can't do anything from that angle.

The Abyss Exactly. Not sure how other shards do it, but on Everlasting the raid leader divides everyone into teams by purpose. Just follow your team leader and attack what they attack. Yes. Founder's Falls --> Eden --> The Hive *OR* use a base teleporter to go directly to Eden and from there to The Hive. On Everlasting, there are A LOT of Hami raids. The scheduled is listed in the message of the day for the Everlasting TFs global channel. On weekdays, they do two raids at 7PM EST and two more at 10PM EST. There are also raids in the Abyss on the weekend, but I don't know the schedule because I'm usually busy. So... major thread derail but hopefully this information is helpful to someone.

" I couldn't tell if you felt you were stuck doing it 'the hard way' or looking forward to it. 🙂 Also, a thread like this one has pretty broad appeal so I think a lot of people who are about to start incarnate content might be checking it out.

I've only ever rerolled two characters (one of which was discussed in detail in another thread). 1) Unarmed Wombat - from claws/SR to MA/SR at about level 20 after someone pointed out that having claws wasn't really "unarmed". Took him to 50. 2) Dr Smacky - MA/regen. Rerolled again and again and again as the same sets. This is the character I used back in the day for meeting new players. I'd play him through the early content, up to about level 14, then delete and reroll. I must have rerolled him 12-15 times. This was back when there was no Death From Below and people actually RAN MISSIONS through the early levels.

My brother had Triangle Man and his wife had Particle Woman back in the day on Infinity. I think you'd be surprised about what names might still be available. I had an invuln tank named Alloy and got the name again, not on Everlasting, though.

I would also make the argument that it's quite a powerful set once you do get IO's. Ironblade (BS/regen) is currently slotted with level 30+ common IO's and and I've participated in every iTrial and have the Master badges for some already. Do I die occasionally? Sure. But, the rest of the time, I'm tearing sh** up. Once I get all his IO sets assembled, I'll respec out all the common IO's (don't want to just throw them away) and he'll be even better. On a side note, the Spiritual tree for the Alpha slot reads like it was MADE for the regen set. My click heal powers are at around +125% heal and recharge using common IO's.

Before you even get into incarnate trials, keep in mind: 1) Mender Ramiel's arc will immediately unlock your Alpha slot. 2) You can get XP and incarnate components from all content. So, if you wanted, you could do Ramiel's arc and then do regular content to get incarnate components so you could get your Alpha to tier 3 for a level shift before even setting foot in your first iTrial - if you wanted. Doing a weekly strike target will get you a Notice of the Well and the level 50 task forces give guaranteed components at the end: Ancient Nictus Fragment from Imperious Dimensional Keystone from Kahn or Barracuda etc. This page on ParagonWiki lists where you get the different salvage: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Incarnate_Component

My trick for the indestructible regen scrapper is simple and cheap. At any given time, my inspiration tray is at least 2/3 medium purples. I don't even buy them. I just combine drops since I don't really need acc, dmg or end insps.

You don't need a legion (supergroup) really. Just find out what the task force channel is for your server. I'm on Everlasting so I'm on the global channel Everlasting TFs. Between that and the LFG channel, I can always find task forces and iTrials.

I'm at a loss. If other games aren't having this issue and CoH is having it whether connecting to the Canada or Germany server..... My GUESS would be that some game-specific setting is set wrong. Either in the CoH client or..... if you're using an OS that let's you specify settings for individual apps. I know how to do that in Windows, but not through a launcher like Tequila.

I've never seen a team turn away a defender. And with the Weekly Strike Targets you'll get around half a level of XP at completion (once per week for each character).

This. I was going to say that my favorite targets for this are on rooftops, particularly the Circle in Kings Row, since you can send them so much farther by starting at a higher elevation.
