  1. I am sad I did not get to see this in person. It was in Philadelphia last year and I'll be there next month.
  2. Definitely this. Back in the day, I had four powers for my Destiny slot that I could choose between for high level content.
  3. The purpose of this is to prevent people from trying to wring out every last inf from a sale. You can't post at a high price, reduce it a little if it doesn't sell, etc. I mean, you CAN, but it will cost you. The system encourages you to post an item at a reasonable price on the first try.
  4. Well, I used my ill/kin for Hamidon raids so he 'earned' a lot of Hami-Os. I slotted Flash with 3 endoplasm (acc/mez) and 3 recharge. So, it was.... usable.
  5. I click on their name on the team window. Since this is mostly necessary for targeted heals, my attention is already on the team window so it's easy to move the pointer over. The numpad might have been good, but that's already used when I load massive bind files for mothership raids and sewer trials.
  6. Yes, but. I sometimes check powersets. I don't ask for specific ATs, let alone builds, but if I have two defenders on the team, I'll check to see what kind. A blaster is a blaster, but defender sets are wildly different. I recall a quote from back in the day. "Playing two different blaster sets is like the difference between playing racquetball and squash. Playing two different defender sets is like the difference between playing hockey and playing piano."
  7. I would guess it's 9999. I got above 8000 while the game was live so no need to worry with 905. And, yes, I'm talking about Reward Merits. I actually hit the Vanguard Merit cap at 9999.
  8. A few. Many of the people from *IN*finity have gone to *IN*domitable due to the similarity in names. I made Ironblade over there as well but he's only level 15, while the Ironblade on Everlasting is..... vet level 8? 9?
  9. I came across this back when the game was still active. I don't recall where I found it or who created it. TOGGLE MAN! I would like to tell you about a friend of mine. His name is Toggle Man, and he has come to town to show you how things are done. Toggle Man is a Spines/Dark Armor Scrapper. But not a wuss about it, like all those other Spines/Dark Armor Scrappers. He took Lunge, because he had to. And he took Quills, because it's a Toggle, and he's Toggle Man. But as far as he's concerned, you can take the rest of those powers to the DUMP where they BELONG. Oh, that's right. Toggle Man went there. He went there, came back, and brought you a T-Shirt. It says "I'm with Toggle Man, so you'd better Toggle On some RESPECT!" Toggle Man took seven of the nine powers in Dark Armor. Can you guess which ones? Toggle Man does not need to rez. Toggle man thinks self-heals are for little girls and communists. Toggle Man does not hurt. Toggle Man does not die. Toggle Man runs Toggles. Eight of them, so far. Nine. Sprint. Toggle Man is not such a connoisseur of toggles that he'd forget the granddaddy of 'em all. Toggle Man runs Sprint all the time. Because Toggle Man knows what's up. Toggle Man wishes he could run all four Veteran sprints too, at the same time. But we try not to remind him of it... Toggle Man dies a little inside every time he thinks about a Toggle he can't run... Don't cry for Toggle Man. He needs you to be strong. He needs you to Toggle On your Brave Face for him, ok? Ok. Toggle Man likes the Leadership Pool. But not Vengeance. Even though Toggle Man's weak and puny allies are constantly kissing the floorboards around him, Toggle Man will not lower himself to use a Click power on their greasy carcasses. Because he's Toggle Man, and his job is to run Toggles, in case you hadn't heard. Toggle Man likes the Leaping Pool. He likes it so much, he compromised and took Jump Kick! Mostly because Combat Jumping and Super Jumping wouldn't work together, and Toggle Man is unhappy when he has to choose between two toggles. Toggle Man took Acrobatics, because NOBODY pushes Toggle Man around. Are you looking at Toggle Man funny? I didn't think so. Punk. You'd best run home to your Mommy and Toggle On a pair of dry underpants. Oh, Snap! Toggle Man also likes the Speed pool. But not Hasten. Toggle Man's Toggles are always on, and that ain't changing. So who cares when they recover? Not Toggle Man, that's for sure! Toggle Man loves Super Speed and Whirlwind, and he runs them all the time. Sometimes Toggle Man's friends get frustrated, and say, "Toggle Man, could you stop super speeding around, knocking all the guys all over the place?" and Toggle Man, he says "Sure, as soon as you stop BREATHING!" Toggle Man is not gonna keep quiet while suckas be dissin' on his Toggles. Toggle Man likes Tough and Weave! Enough to take Boxing, even! Oh my gosh, Toggle Man has an "Attack Chain" now! But he doesn't use it, because he's not a wuss. He's Toggle Man, and his Toggles are good enough, thank you very much. Toggle Man likes Focused Accuracy. Take that, Stalkers! Toggle Man is watching! Toggle Man isn't going to take any crap from you! Toggle Man also took Conserve Power, which isn't a Toggle, but he sets it on auto and pretends that it is. Awwww yeeeaah. Toggle Man is all about conservation. Toggle Man wishes he could Toggle the Ozone Layer back on, but he can't. Because of the restraining order. Toggle Man loves Toggles so much, he didn't even take a power at 49, because he couldn't find any more Toggles. He is thinking about Confront, though, because he's sick of all these pansies seeing him coming and saying "Oh, crap! It's Toggle Man! We'd best run!" Well not any more, punk! Toggle Man is comin' to get'cha! Toggle Man goes through endurance 8 times faster than he recovers it. Toggle Man can only actually finish turning all his Toggles on before his blue bar empties out, if he turns on Rest first, and that makes Toggle Man uncomfortable even if Rest is a Toggle too. Toggle Man wants to know if he can mooch a couple blues? No? That's cool. Toggle Man doesn't trust inspirations anyway. Since they're not, you know, Toggles. What's up with that? Why all the inspirations got to be Clicks, yo? That is whack. Toggle Man. Coming soon to a Test Server near you.
  10. Right. Once. Everyone gets one change. The OP wants to change his global AGAIN. That's where we run into problems.
  11. Hello, Bob. 🙂 I'm mostly on Everlasting. My global is @Ironblade
  12. Pretty much what has already been stated. The Homecoming position is as follows, cut and pasted from this GM FAQ - https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/6899-homecoming-gmfaq-gm-fiddleback-answers-questions/ It's a pretty long FAQ but it has a lot of good information. I would suggest everyone read it. What’s a Global Handle? Why Do I Have One? And How Can I Change It? All right, slow down…. A Global Handle is assigned to you when you log into the game for the first time with a character. By Default, it is the same as the name of your first character. It lets people find you and send you mail and do various other things regardless of what character you might be on at any given time. Basically, it’s like a master ID within the game. All your characters on the account are associated with that Global Handle. You get one free Global Rename, because some people will log in Doctor Snorkledanker as their first character and then realize that that isn’t so handy to type in. Or maybe it doesn’t reflect the way they’d like to be perceived. Or maybe they spelled it wrong. Or possibly it’s very rude. It sounds rude, doesn’t it? Anyway, you get one free rename. That’s it. No more. Nada. Zip. One and done. Except if you file a ticket and ask politely someone will probably let you off the hook and grant you another one. But try to keep this to a minimum. If you find yourself asking for a rename every week or better, maybe don’t. Pick one and stick with it.
  13. How many reactions did the software allow before it got in your face?
  14. Resurrecting this thread with an update for the new forums. 1. The displayed images are significantly larger on the new software. 2. You can upload larger images now. Previously, they had to be 65x65 pixels or less. I just uploaded a 130x130 image and it looks much sharper. The forum software says your image can be up to .49 MB. I didn't see the need to test that as my image is only 18 KB.
  15. The question would be whether you did any other chapters, including from the other arc, during that time. ALL of the chapters from BOTH signature story arcs share the same timer. Once you get your 'freebie' from each chapter, the timer applies. The relevant line from ParagonWiki is as follows: " Each separate reward can be chosen once every 162 hours (6 days, 18 hours), regardless of which episode is being played – all episodes use the same reward timer per reward choice, meaning four reward timers. " The page is located at https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Signature_Story_Arc
  16. I've seen people in chat assembling teams to fight him so he does spawn.
  17. I have actually done this, but not intentionally. I had started a character and then moved to a different server and just remade the character. I happened to log into the old character (on a server I rarely visit) and someone had left me an email a couple weeks previous. So, in some cases, this can just happen without anyone deliberately ignoring anyone.
  18. Okay, did you actually READ the information at the link you posted? It directly contradicts what you wrote and agrees with what Razor said. You get to run each story arc ONCE EVER per character where the timer does not count. So a new character can run the arc and then run it again and the timer DOES NOT APPLY. In fact, since you get one free run of each arc, you can run all of them consecutively on one character and get the 20 merits each time. I have done this and this is how it worked for me. And when I say I have done this, I didn't actually run ALL of them. I did 4 arcs back to back and got the 20 merits every time since I had never done any arcs on that character. Having said that, I see two possible issues: 1) Maybe the reward system was changed recently although I don't recall any mention. 2) I don't know if I ran the arc twice in one day. There is ANOTHER timer that applies to task forces and trials where you get diminishing rewards after the first run on the same day. That might be applying here.
  19. I had a character with a somewhat similar theme. He was a time traveler and his clothes would change to random outfits from all different eras. He had a caveman outfit, steampunk outfit, cyborg with the brain in a jar, dynasty outfit, wild west outfit, etc. That was my only character that used all 10 costume slots.
  20. Lore pets for face-tanking? Not really. My advice is to get one of the buffers that casts Fortitude. That's huge on any character. My scrapper does a lot of damage so I hold aggro off the pets. If you're worried about them dying too fast, you can get a pet that can't be damaged but has no attacks - all it does is buff.
  21. Because they are losers. Let me tell you a story..... Back on the live servers, I ran task forces every Saturday afternoon with open sign-up on the forums. One day, I had someone send me a tell if it was okay if they brought their main character, which was a kheld. I said, "Everyone is welcome. I arrange the teams to make sure they're all good and anyone can bring any AT as long as they're high enough level for that TF." Long story, short: we started dating like 7 years ago and now we live together. Imagine if I had replied, "No, I don't want no stinking kheldians on my teams!" :)
  22. Don't let a handful of cranky people influence your decisions of what to do in the game. Try everything again. Back in the day, I did MSR's occasionally - once a week or so. And I've been doing them with about the same frequency now. They're just as fun as they used to be. On a side note, the conversion from Vanguard Merits to Reward Merits is irrelevant to me. I stockpile VMerits to buy the Vanguard Heavy temp pet.
  23. That is correct. I actually managed to track down Issue 25 patch notes.
  24. I have a Logitech M705. It's a cordless, laser mouse. I use it on a 3M Precision Mousing Surface - like a mousepad, but super thin and it adheres to the desktop. I don't play any 'twitch' games so I don't need to worry about the lag of a cordless mouse. I like wireless since the mouse (obviously) gets moved around, just like my headset (which is also wireless).
