  1. People think of Rad Armor as a resist set, but it's really a hybrid resist/regen set. Use Particle Shielding proactively and keep it up all the time. In addition to the +absorb, it provides 100% +regen (unenhanced) for 30 seconds. In addition to the heal, Radiation Therapy provides an additional 100% +regen (unenhanced) for 60 seconds as well as resistance to -regen. Between the two you're approaching Willpower and Regen (w/o Instant Healing) levels. I use Melee Core Hybrid as my panic button, as it adds both resistance and +regen.

    Cold/???

Cold/Beam is also good. It's AoE isn't great, but it has -regen and -res and can really shred hard targets.
  3. In addition to Clarion Destiny, Melee Hybrid also has mezz protection.
  4. Your issue seems to be the 18-hour lockout on Reward Merits, not the actual number of Reward Merits received for a single run. IMO, nobody runs BAF for the Reward Merits. They run it for the incarnate salvage. For new level 50s that don't have their incarnate slots unlocked or filled yet, it's a very easy trial that gets them the components to do that. Regardless of the lockout, it's quite common for leaders to run 2-3 BAFs in a row (sometimes for the badges, sometimes not). If you're looking for Reward Merits, there are far more efficient ways to get them. You can run Tin Mage and Apex back to back inside of 30 minutes and get 80 Reward Merits (as well as 2 incarnate salvage rolls).
  5. It makes more sense with weapon damage than it does with elemental damage. If there's a fire, anybody in it is going to get just as burnt, whether its 5 people or 10. Same goes for things poison gas or radiation. There's no diminishing return if more people enter the area.
  6. I would do the scrapper/stalker set a little differently: Chilblain Block of Ice Ice Bolt Snow Storm (Shiver was renamed Cold Snap in Page 4 and got fear added) Ice Storm (all the scrapper/stalker APPs have a ranged AoE attack)
  7. With respect to the ST blasts, which versions of Neutrino Bolt and X-Ray Beam? For blasters and sentinels, Neutrino Bolt is scale 1.0 and X-Ray Beam is scale 1.64. For dominators they're scale 1.0 and 2.12. For defenders and corruptors, they're scale 0.6 and 1.0. I have no problem giving Neutrino Bolt to melee classes if it's the scale 1.0 version, but not if it's the scale 0.6 version. Same with controllers and X-Ray Beam. I'm OK with them getting the scale 1.64 or 2.12 version, but not the scale 1.0 version. I would give controllers Devastating Blow instead of Irradiate. I would give defenders/corruptors Devastating Blow instead of Atom Smasher. I would give scrappers/stalkers Proton Volley instead of Choking Cloud.
  8. Grounded has mag 15 KB protection and mag 6 immobilize protection. The issue is that it only works when you're near the ground, so you need to play accordingly. While I take Combat Jumping on all my melee toons, I've never had additional KB protection with Elec Armor and haven't needed it (and I use Super Jump as my travel power). Energy Aura isn't available to tanks.
  9. Have you ever played Electric Armor? It's an extremely sturdy set. Even after P4, toxic damage is still pretty rare and Elec can cap resists to everything else (with the possible exception of Neg). Willpower gets 12.5% toxic resist in SoW.
  10. Although primarily a resist set, Radiation Armor has two powers that boost regen, a very good heal and a PBAoE attack. Willpower is good, but has little protection against debuffs, so runs into trouble when hit with -regen or -end. For primary, Spines, War Mace, Staff and Claws all have solid AoE.
  11. I can quibble with some of the power selections, but well thought out overall. Make it so.
  12. Not sure why you're posting this in Suggestions. There's a forum specific to Mid's. That said, you'll get a faster response posting on their Discord. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/74-forum/ https://discord.gg/eAUuNQ3nxk

    Trap/TA/Poison?

Agree that the -end/-rec isn't useful, but I don't consider Poison Trap in Poison to be skippable. It's very effective as a hold and has a very fast animation. I like to jump into the middle of a spawn and drop the trap. It also takes a huge variety of procs and is very effective as a proc bomb.
  14. Nemesis Invasion is triggered by completion of SSA2 - Pandora's Box Part 5. Hero or villain zone is determined by the alignment of the arc. Zombie Invasion is triggered by completion of Katie Hannon TF (hero zone) or Virgil Tarikoss SF (villain zone).
  15. I am largely OK with Unrelenting Fury as it currently exists (6/7 PPM proc for stacking 10-second 15%/20% regen increase and 5%/6.65% end discount). On the other hand, Brute's Fury is decidedly unimpressive (4/5 PPM proc for non-stacking 5/7 Fury increase). At the very least, Brute's Fury should be allowed to stack with itself (the tanker resist proc can stack 3x and the absorb proc has a 20-second duration).
  16. I started playing a week or two before I3 hit and was always @Uun in game. Don't recall if I used Uun on the forums from the start, but I was definitely Uun on the live forums for some time.
  17. Virtually all Storm buffs/debuffs are stronger on a defender. The only exception is Tornado, which summons the same pet for defenders and corruptors. On the flip side, Water will do more damage on a corruptor. Both will be good. Really depends on your preference.
  18. I don't like it and I don't hold spots if I'm recruiting. If someone is recruiting and I'm on the wrong character, I will alt before responding to the leader. Sometimes the team will fill before I respond, but that's a risk even if you don't alt.
  19. Beating him as an EB shouldn't be a problem. First off, you want to avoid CK's nuke (Psychic Wail), which has a 25-foot radius and will 1-shot you. Stay at range until after he fires it (it has a 5 minute recharge so you won't have to worry about him firing it again). Ignoring Farsight (which provides ~15% defense), 2 medium purple inspirations will soft cap your defense for 60 seconds. Bring 4 in case it takes more than a minute to defeat him. If you have it, this is a really good time to use the Elusive Mind accolade. Also, let Singularity (90% psi resist) tank him.
  20. Rommie's void attack is autohit and instadeath. When the warning text comes up, you need to kite.
  21. See my post about 5 up from yours. My Dark/Dark held up very well on a 3-star run. Capped resists go a long way toward mitigating defense debuffs. Also, most of the damage is S/L and N, which is right up Dark's alley.
  22. I had one on live (before they added the heal or the +def to Energy Drain) and it was a lot of fun. My current favorite is Stone/Elec. It's an absolute beast.
  23. Ran a 3-star a few days ago with my Dark/Dark and it stood up very well. I've got 90%+ resists to S/L/N/Psi and 86% to F/C. This is not a high defense build (mid 30s), but even so I didn't find I was using Dark Regen much. Was my first time dealing with Rommie's void attack, so died once or twice before I learned to kite it.
  24. The issue is not the +dmg or +acc, it's the +special. Being able to stack two powers that did this would be extremely OP. Greatly boosts the secondary effects of your powers. Your powers effects like Heals, Defense Buffs, Endurance Drains, Disorients, Holds, Immobilizes, Knockbacks and more, are all improved. +74.5% Heal Dmg, Absorb, Endurance, RunningSpeed, FlyingSpeed, Confused, Terrorized, Held, Immobilized, Stunned, Sleep Strength (self only) for 10s +74.5% Ranged, Melee, Area, Smashing, Lethal, Fire, Cold, Energy, Negative Energy, Psionic, Toxic, Base Defense, ToHit Strength (self only) for 10s
  25. Not going to happen. Blasters have Power Boost in /Energy and corruptors and defenders have it in Soul Mastery (and Power Build Up in Power Mastery).
