  1. I've done a few AVs with my Stone/Elec, mostly without Envenomed Daggers. Black Scorpion, Kronos Titan (in-mission AV version) and Avatar of Hamidon come to mind, but I know there have been others. Don't think I've attempted a GM.

  3. I use it more strategically, primarily to position myself in the middle of a spawn to fire off a nuke (or Fulcrum Shift or Trip Mine).
  4. You need set bonuses to do it, but Elec can cap S/L/E and get 65+ to F/C/Psi.
  5. I have more difficulty with the radius than the arc. I can handle a narrow arc, but I much prefer the melee cones with an 8-10 foot radius than those with a 7 foot radius.
  6. While I do take Stealth (or some combination of powers/IOs providing the same utility) I generally don't skip to the end while soloing unless it's a particularly annoying mission. I'll also stealth the two non-AV missions in Maria Jenkins arc, just because I've done them so many times. On TFs, I will generally stealth any mission that can be stealthed.
  7. My Ice/Kin is soft capped to S/L, close to it on En, and mid 20s on everything else. I haven't slotted any purples or Winter O's yet. I don't have Hasten. I do have Stealth and Combat Teleport for dropping FS and Blizzard in the middle of spawns.
  8. Increase Density takes resist sets. Inertial Reduction takes leaping and universal travel sets.

  10. Teleport Other has a magnitude limitation. It only works on minions and some lieutenants (dependent on level).

  13. I went Electric for the epic so I could have another cone. Tenebrous Tentacles works really well as a proc bomb.
  14. My Fire/Time is a beast. You need to pick Power or Soul for your epic so you can combine Farsight with Power Buildup or Power Boost (which will come close to soft-capping your defense). If you looking for straight-up damage, you can't go wrong with Fire/Kin.
  15. Cold has better values on a defender (with the exception of Sleet), but either is very good. I've got a Cold/Beam defender that's an absolute beast. Beam adds more -regen and -resist to what Cold already has. It can stack 725% -regen and 50%/45% -resist (80%/69% when Heat Loss is up). Don't skip the T1 on a corruptor, since it's one of the -regen powers.
  16. 1-2 (of 3) go off after igniting the oil and then again after 10 seconds.
  17. I've got procs slotted in OSA, but to be honest I've never tested to see how often they go off. Power Boost will buff the -tohit in Flash, the sleep duration in PGA, the holds in Ice and EMP, and the -defense in Acid and OSA. Because PGA, OSA and EMP summon pseudo pets, I suspect you'll only get the 15 second duration. You probably get the most value using it with Flash, but I'm not sure it's worth the power pick.

    pet accuracy

    Dark Servant has an autohit -tohit aura (Chill of the Night), but it's other attacks require accuracy. All of Umbra Beast's and Haunt's attacks require accuracy.   19. Tactical Arrow (blaster) and Trick Arrow (corruptor) are 100% ranged and have Oil Slick Arrow for more AoE. Most other blaster secondaries, you're looking at melee. You could also consider Storm and Traps on the corruptor side.
  20. While both Electric and Energy are good sets, Energy is somewhat better for a sentinel. Electric is a a resist set and the sentinel resist cap is 75%. You should be able to soft cap defense to everything but psi with Energy. In terms of damage, sentinel damage scale is 0.95, compared to 1.125 for blasters and 0.75 for corruptors. Sentinels also have range and max targets limitations that blasters and corruptors don't. Beam's strength is single target, so you're not going to affected as much by the max target limitation. A sentinel won't out-damage a blaster, but it's sturdier and has mezz protection. Corruptor is more of a force multiplier, since it's providing buffs/debuffs to the team. Depending on the secondary, corruptors can out-damage sentinels, but again, not as sturdy. Think of sentinels as ranged scrappers.
  21. I would consider moving Defender's Bastion out of Oil Slick. It's autohit and doesn't require (or accept) accuracy, so you could free up a few slots. I think I have it slotted in Blazing Arrow and the heal proc fires pretty often.
  22. First thing to understand is that Temporal Manipulation is completely different from Time Manipulation (the only overlapping power is Time Stop). It has a quirky combo system where each power has additional effects if you use Time Wall (attacks) or Chronos (buffs) first. Time Lord provides an auto recharge buff, slow resist and stun protection. Other than that, the powers are pretty standard: ST immobilize, ST hold, 2 ST melee, 1 PBAoE melee, 1 ranged AoE stun and a sustain (with more slow resist). The immobilize, hold and PBAoE all have -regen, so you can stack a decent amount for a blaster. The ST melee attacks are psi, which is nice for the Minotaurs and Cyclops in the ITF and anything else weak to psi. I've got an Ice/Temporal, which is a bit of a blastroller since I've got 3 ST holds. I skip Time Shift (the AoE stun). It blaps pretty well (although Aging Touch is skippable) or can be fully ranged.
  23. The ranged AoEs aren't available until lvl 41 or 44 (and have a 32 second recharge). Taunt is available at lvl 10 (tank) or 12 (brute). Not everyone PLs their characters to 50. Edit: and the epic ranged attacks don't taunt
  24. I can already get up in their face to do damage without using Taunt. Others have already listed the many forms of unsuppressed movement the game offers. But maybe I don't want to fight the enemies where they're standing. Maybe I want to separate two spawns that are close to each other. Maybe I want to combine two spawns that are close to each other. It's not a garbage power if you know how to use it.
