I run it occasionally on torchbearer but even for me its been awhile. I really should start doing the giant monster tour again. But the reason i stopped is because others started killing the GMs regularly without me needing to make a group

Instant Healing: why hasn't it been reverted to a toggle yet?

I played regen back in the day and i felt like a super hero. Then there was a pair of nerfs and i felt like a hero - still fun but not as powerful. And that last round of nerfs made my regen feel like im playing a sidekick. I only had 2 lvl 50 at the time and i completely stopped playing 1 of them. Some people are happy with regen how it is now and some arent. I feel like im playing City of Sidekicks with regen. For me that doesnt mean IH must be a toggle. But to give it another shot, regen would need some sort of rework. -
Can there be an increased visual representation when your character is doing no damage during rage's crash period? Maybe some gray circles around the damage abilities in the tray. I have other powers to use - buffs, self heals, incarnate thingies - that i mostly miss out on during this time. I tend to notice after all the 1's pop up after a foot stomp, meaning i could have cast something else and that foot stomp will be on cooldown after my character has recovered from the crash. No nerf, no buff, just a little quality of life change.

Apologies as i wasnt clear enough. The only way to go from a sk to non-sk state during a level up is while on a team unless im not thinking of something. Im still totally on board with pets getting nuked for your sk status changing for reasons other than a level up. I also have no idea if thats even possible for the game to differentiate between the two but it would be nice if its possible.

I might be able to agree if it was lvl 26 but at 18 you would be able to use it if exemplared all the way down to lvl 13. That is posi 1 territory i think. And lvl 32 is supposed to be where you get your 'best' power. If its the AoE hold, the next thing you will see is players saying it needs to do almost as much damage as a blasters nuke because as it is now its too weak just for a tradeoff of some hold duration. -
MMs are getting some tweaks in the upcoming patch with an additional note that its a quick adjustment and they hope for an in depth MM review sometime later. But since this is intended behavior, even if it sucks, head over to the suggestion forum and recommend that MM pets dont die when going from a sidekicked to non-sidekicked state upon level up. And im not at home to check ingame, but i think the patch that changes group fly to affect pets regardless of range hasnt made it to the live servers yet.

Having an idle tab and then either a right click popup or a move to idle button and the same to move them back to active if desired. Id love to see this along side with exemplar to outleveled contacts or removing the taskforce aspect from ouro flashback. Let us more freely choose what we do and dont want, and be able to invite team members after we start the first mission.

Currently the notoriety goes from level minus 1 to plus 4 and team size of 1 through 8. I would like to see a 3rd option for incarnate shifted enemies that goes from i-0 to maybe i-4 or whatever amount is found to be appropriate. This setting should probably be unlocked with your alpha slot and only usable if you already have it set to +4 or possibly only at +4x8. I'm not opposed to this type of setting being available earlier if its determined to be suitable for lower level content. I also don't see these settings as something that should be intended to be farmable or soloable although I'm sure there would be those who will try and those who will be angry if they cant farm on the highest difficulty. And that's why I'm unsure about what, if any, increase in rewards should be. Perhaps a progress bar that fills 1 point for each ilvl of the mission and when you reach 10, a choose your reward popup occurs. Where looking for group is concerned the obvious and completely acceptable option would be players advertise their groups as +4x8i1 or +4x8i3 or however the kids advertise their groups nowadays. Adding something to the options menu or the team invite popup saying something to the effect of 'this team is currently set to +2 incarnate shifted enemies do you accept' would be ok for me but I would probably just prefer team leads to say their settings in LFG chat. City of Heroes has done a great job of retaining their player base without having the game grow 'up' very much and by growing 'sideways' instead. Meaning adding more content without increasing the lvl cap. I think this change would open up some more options for top content where there are incarnate level challenges outside of the i-trials.

Every time i have had a trial and a TF queued, it has sent me to the trial. I have eden check marked alot and end up there when im trying to get to almost anywhere else. -
Also on your minimap it will show the signature arc contacts as a red circle with a book in it.

An organized group could do this without a league by sending 7 into the mission while the 8th went over to where the next mission would be

Yes you can form a league and have characters on the other teams sitting in the proper locations and use incan to teleport the league around while 1 team is doing a task force. I know someone that commonly does it on market crash to teleport us to the train for the board transit mission

The unusual monster activity announcement only refers to the 'war' up north part of the zone. Its possible to have jack and eochai already in the zone and have the war start to then go kill each of them twice. The individual spawns for jack and eochai dont have hero zone event messages like 'the kraken was spotted in perez park'. It would be nice if they did have messages for the solo spawns

They should be acting like every other non-MM combat pet. If they are close enough to an enemy and not trying to follow you then they should attack. Sometimes taking a hit to yourself or the pet gets them to start attacking sooner but they shouldnt stop unless they get controlled. If the enemies werent mezzing them, then there may be some sort of bug there. Especially if the behavior is repeatable.

although i cant say what causes the enemies to spawn much lower lvl then the mission, it has been a thing for a very long time. even more rare is when the enemy spawns several levels higher - causing a mission to be nearly impossible. the biggest difference i have seen was a lvl 21 in a 40something council mission. we made some jokes about him being lost and then proceeded to stomp him. if the cause can be tracked down a fix would be great but given how old this is, but i would expect this to be low priority given the amount of time to track it down versus the infrequency of its occurrence.

Map progress seems to be stored locally since i have different areas lit on different computers. If your file got corrupted for that character in the crash, that could be why its getting reset. Ill try and track it down. Deleting it would reset it 1 more time but hopefully be the last time you would have to deal with it Edit: im not sure if the file path is the same for each launcher but with the tequila launcher if you go to CityOfHeroes > 'account name' > maps there will be a file for each characters map progress in there. fire up the game and only log on that character and open some new map progress then exit. Whatever one of those files has the date modified from your computers current date and time is the one for that character. move it to a backup location or delete it then log back in. your map will be reset again but fingers crossed it will be the last time.

The volunteer team does read all these posts even though they dont all get responses. I imagine this is on 'the list' but not everything gets fixed every time. Hopefully this can be resolved in an upcoming patch but it needs to be heroes killing heroes in an atlas park costume contest to be hotfix worthy.

Im not at my computer right now but it is possible for individual zones to go down while the rest of the game is up. If nobody is in atlas at all then that would be why. Usually they come back fairly quickly and its rare to begin with. If other people are in atlas then you might want to verify your game files.

This wont be particularly helpful for you, but this does happen. Some things spawn out of bounds and theres nothing the player can do but ask for assistance or autocomplete. Theres even a lady getting her purse stolen in atlas park - the mobs fall into the abyss and she is left floating there forever fighting with the nothing to get her purse back.

It hasnt been an issue for me but im still on board with this suggestion. Also extend it to cover the exit door in trials and itrials where i have seen someone click the door. Going to LFG and choosing rejoin last event is nice for a secondary method but it shouldnt be the primary way to stay in your group. -
I have recast the power before the pet expired and the result was the power went on cooldown, no new pet was summoned, and the original pet expired shortly after.

The 5 ticks of fire damage should be the only one that requires fiery embrace. If the rest of the effects actually require fiery embrace, then the ability is bugged. And there is absolutely no way that a mob has 15 seconds of 'queued' movement so as not to notice that immobilize. I always notice immediate immobilize with my controller. They dont get to continue any movement.
