Me, I'm running something slightly better than what @Snarky is showing lol (Great pic btw)... Alienware PC Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor And with a Terabyte solid state hard drive to boot, I am all set. 🙂 I am currently running with my in game graphics set to ultra max, and even during a hami run or a MSR, the game is running with no lag to speak of, or if I get any, its very, very little. Oh, I am also using a slightly older 31" Panasonic TV for my monitor as well, everything is generally clear as a bell for me, and clear sailing. In fact, yesterday I think I even saw @Snarky sitting on the edge of the Rikti Mothership cheering on the Rikti as we battled them. Pesky Villain Vampires, thinking that they are all that, and a bag of blood chips... 😋 (Jk Snark Man... Please don't bite me lol... 😁)

Personally, I tend to use both Keybinds & Macro's, which vary a little bit based on the character I am using at the time, as well as if they are a Melee or ranged one as well. Tab is my goto key to targeting (with +follow added to it in case it's a Melee character). Of course, if it is a Kheld I am using, the Tab key is also expanded to include all the specific Kheldon enemies I gotta target first (with ` key above it set as a basic targeting key). Key's 1-4 tend to be used for my most used attacks, with my Q & E keys used for activating two powers with one key (or two keys if I need 4 activated). If I am on a MM, I use my numberpad keys for specific commands, while at the same time changing my Tab key for basic targeting, +following, plus Agressive & Attack stances, all in one. Otherwise they are used mostly for specific costume changes with emotes attached. Though if I am also using a Kheldon, 1-3 on the numberpad is used for form shifting, which actually works quite well as the rest of the keys are used for costumes as stated above. As far as Macro's go however, I tend to only create/use them for either saying things or specific emotes for the character I am using, or both even. As Macro's tend to take up space on taskbars, I tend not to use them nearly as much as I did a long time ago. I figure having only 6 taskbars up at a time is enough for me lol...

Ok, a quit note about ChatGPT (and other like programs). As one who is taking College courses, and writing essays & research papers (as best I can), every single teacher & staff is telling us NOT to use Chat GPT, or else our work will be considered plagiarism, which is actually a accurate description, because when it is all said and done, the AI is writing your paper for you. And basically, you are in essence, turning someone else's work in while counting it as your own. And this is what I found on plagiarism... "Plagiarism is not illegal in the United States in most situations. Instead it is considered a violation of honor or ethics codes and can result in disciplinary action from a person's school or workplace" So use ChatGPT for your own amusement, but never use it to do the work for you, because at the end of the day, it's just not your work, tool or not... 😉

Might I also suggest that you run a hard deep scan of your PC as well. There is a lot of malware out there, and we can get hit by it even when we think we're totally save, and in fact it can affect even the games we play in some form or another. So do what @Michiyo suggested, but also scan your system as deep as you can. Sometimes it's the littlest of things that can cause issues, even in CoH.

Being a very old time gamer myself, there always comes a time in every players life where they feel the way you do, and in my experience, the only way to solve the issue is to genuinely take a break from the game. It is hardwired in our nature as Humans-Becoming to get tired, bored, or otherwise feel exhausted even when doing anything over, and over, and over, again. It's natural, and is there so we experience something new. So go out and smell the roses, go camping, fishing, biking, write a novel, join a band, or even... God forbid... play another game (like FF14 for example). Trust me, eventually you will feel the urge to pick up and come back home to play CoH again... that too is natural. Getting too much of any one thing is sort of atthema to our being, so go explore and just enjoy what life has to offer. It happens to us all at one point or another... and that is ok. 🙂

Totally agree @Snarky... That being said, as others have mentioned, doing this OP (and @RebeccaHemmings) will in fact violate the terms of service agreement everyone agrees to, to play CoH on HC. Being able to play this game after the official one was shut down (Still upset & sad about that btw, especially how and why it was done), is a gigantic blessing to us all. So in my view, I personally won't do anything that would put that or the HC team in jeopardy. Having this game shut down, even if it was just here, would... hurt. So imho, everyone should just fly under the radar so to speak, and don't draw any unneeded or unwanted attention from NCsoft. Just chill, have fun in this awesome game, and be thankful it is still around for us to enjoy big time. Because quite frankly, it could be far, far worse (especially if people start waving their flag just to say "look at me! Look at me!). For it's not just about you... it's about all of us, and the fantastic community that it is... 🙂 Buff said...

Agreed... As one who has used Gang War, MM pets, and Troller Pets, there is a marked difference between them. Pets are in a way linked to you (hense defence for MM pets), so in a way you are still doing damage to the enemies. However, confusion is not only a non-damaging power, it is one that makes enemies attack their fellows, and are not linked to you in any way. So the original Dev were right to make the power xp act this way imo. But its never an issue anyways, so long as you hit them at least one time (and I for one, am never sitting on my hands doing nothing in these situations)...

Heck, I would love to see anyone in the city standing at a bus stop alone lol. It's almost like I can hear the discussion in my poor head from the powers that be about bussing around in Paragon City... Person 1: "Finally, we have lots of bus stops for our happy citizens to get around our awesome city! Public transportation at its finest. Now let's get busy on making busses! Wait... what? We have a public rail system??? Oh hell! There goes that idea. Hey pete, tell the factories to stop preparing to make busses! Yeah, I know... it's a pain in the butt! Someone should have told us before we took the time, and money, to make all of these bus stops, which are totally useless now. Oh well, onto the next item on the agenda... Airports! Maybe also add an audio component to it as well, like the old days' of Yahoo's "You got mail" feature. And maybe even state which specific chat it is too. I am sure it can be done, as we do have "some" audio features in the game, like the MM Beast's howling. I know it might be a stretch, and would require some work (arounds?), but it certainly wouldn't hurt to at least try...

Interesting play on words for a name @Player2. This is one of the fun aspects of the game imo; coming up with unique individual names that relate to the character and/or powers in some way. Lot's of creativity there. Well done! 🙂

Hi all... I have a Grav/FF Controller that just reached 22nd lvl, and I was wondering if any of you kind knowledgeable folks could answer a question or two... 1) This one is about Grav's power of Propel. I was wondering what attuned IO sets you would suggest I put into it (and yes, I have 6 slotted it already)? Specifically, one's that focus on (in order) Recharge, Endurance, and Damage. I know all about Luck of the Gambler's, and will be putting some into my character eventually, but for now I was wondering what Attuned IO sets would be the best to cover these three aspects I want. So far, it has a recharge of 3.? seconds, but I'd LOVE to get that sucker down to even a faster (fastest) recharge if at all possible. So what sets do you suggest? 2) I just got Wormhole. Unfortunately, not only have I never used the power before myself, but as far as I can recall, I have never been on a team in which someone has it, and has used it. As such, I am totally ignorant and clueless on how to best use it, so could any of you please educate me on how to use it, or would there be a nice guide somewhere I can check out that can do exactly that? Preferably ones' that are a video of some sort maybe? Because of this, I hesitate to use it while in a team, as I don't want to screw things up; or heck, even use it when it's not really needed or wanted anymore. So any help in this department would be appreciated, thanks... So there ya go folks; my questions for the day (so far lol). Thanks again in advance, and as always, you all rock! 🙂
