  1. meh to Atlas. I got freakin' DESTROYED when I heard the Villainous Mission Complete fanfare, though. Absolutely lost it in that moment!
  2. That change was dropped. The posts are still in the Beta board if you'd like to review the whole story. (I couldn't follow it personally, so I'm not even 100% sure of the how and why of it.)
  3. The Badges for the anniversaries which came and went during the "Sunset Years" were implemented on the SCoRE server, which was operating in secret until the whistle was blown April of last year. Homecoming inherited the SCoRE code and content, so we have those same Badges here.
  4. Legendary does sound like a good Badge title too, but sounds to me like something a player who has 100% completed all 10 tiers of Incarnate Powers should get. Considering we're only up to 6, it may take a while before that time comes to pass, though.
  5. Aye; Welcome Home! If you haven't chosen already, here's the "skinny" on the various Shards you have available to you: Torchbearer - the original Homecoming Shard. Medium population now. Excelsior - the most populous Shard. Everlasting - the officially unofficial Roleplay Shard, and usually has the largest population of Redsiders (at around 23% to 27% fluctuating). Indomitable - the officially unofficial (but mostly official) PvP Shard. PvP is still limited to Arena matches and PvP Zones, though. Reunion - the European server Shard, located in Germany, but hosting players of many different languages and cultures.
  6. Resurgent -surges- in to the lead! I think "Sweet" is a good badge title. I just think it should be released for something other than this particular anniversary badge. . . . I thought hits me . . . so, uh . . . I'm going to place a few 'calls.' Excuse me!
  7. This server has recently gone through some 64-bit enhancements to the code. I'd recommend running the game with the 32-bit client on an older machine. Also, scale down all graphic settings while still in the login screen (there's an Options button there). Once in-game, scale up the graphics to the point where you're comfortable.
  8. I think Corruptors are a-okay right now. And even though Defenders came first, I think it's they who would benefit from a more Archetype-defining Inherent. Vigilance as it stands doesn't really do it for me. Scourge, however, is a distinct and functional signature.
  9. Would you like it to be Hero, Villain, Vigilante, Rogue, Praetorian, mixed alignment, something else?
  10. Shit. I totally forgot there were two Reds when I said that. . . . see? THIS is why we need a Facepalm react! So I could apply it to myself right now.
  11. And just in case anyone wants the link: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/17064-homecoming-server-update-march-28th-page-5-testing-anniversary-badge-and-more/ (by the way, good call for whoever came up with Resurgent.)
  12. Valid question which provides a sobering bit of perspective, Blastit. While it may give the Reacting user a sense of "getting it out of their system," as opposed to making a reply which could incidentally lead to toxicity, the IDEAL might be that people just don't respond at all in those situations. I mean . . . unless Reputation Reactions are used and tracked by GMs to keep an eye on trends for social dynamics or market research, I suppose the beneficial impact would probably be limited, as near as I can tell. Red; anything you can think of to apply more rationale for the inclusion of the facepalm?
  13. Polling is a great market research tool. It's not so much about democracy as it is about getting accurate information, straight from the source, while reaching as many possible points of view. The forums and other, third party communities will never be able to offer as clear a picture as a direct poll placed in-game.
  14. Yup! https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/15273-a-transparent-minimap/ T'would be nice!
  15. Actually, no, Emmy. I wasn't aware of that about you. And I responded to the response, damnimgood.
  16. Sorry Emmy; cleaned myself out for the newly returned player. Catch up with my on Everlasting some time, and I'll see what I can spare after getting a few hand outs of my own.
  17. Sent! Please check your in-game email.
  18. What's your in-game Global, damnimgood?
  19. While on the Tailor Tab, hit the Save button in the bottom-right corner area.
  20. Here are the binds I use: /bind F11 "screenshot" /bind CTRL+F11 "++screenshotui" I don't remember what F11 does normally, so bear in mind that my binds here will overwrite whatever F11 normally does in-game.
  21. And since most other folks seem to have your questions tackled pretty well already, I'm just going to chime in with our new battlecry: Welcome Home!
  22. Cousins? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsC4kf6x_Q0&t=48s
  23. Indeed. A post bumps the thread, bringing it up for others. A Reaction is an efficient way to express a sentiment without having to directly engage in a dialogue which you already know the other party will not respect. It allows you to reinforce a sentiment and not go dragging things out needlessly. (Normally, at least. Some people make a point about how vexing it is for them to receive Reactions they don't agree with.)
  24. OR! Or or or . . . https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/17633-please-use-an-official-base-for-official-events-until-kallisti-wharf-has-been-fully-optimized/ Pretty please, @GM Miss? No time like the present! We could try asking some folks to whip together a few black-and-white speakeasy Bases for the contest to use!
