  1. Say something! Don't you realize we're worried here? Think, man!
  2. Great suggestions. Also, how about a Kaiju Apocalypse event like the Nemesis and Rikti Invasions where giant monsters simultaneously pop up and rampage all over the city? 😁
  3. Yeah, man- that is just brutal! Absolute, apocalyptic, chaos! Also an example of why you don't want to piss of Storm from the X-men. 😁
  4. In terms of what to play, Nrg/Nrg blasters will always be what I think of when I think of Knockback focused characters. Personally, I like it when players use knockback on teams. It makes for more chaotic/dynamic/interesting, comic-book-style combats. Imagine how boring it would be if every battle in the Avengers or X-men comics, the Hulk or Colossus moved ahead of the team, bellowed taunts at the bad guys, and the bad guys just surrounded them and flailed away ineffectually while the rest of the avengers/x-men cut in from the sides and mowed them down with relative impunity. I would think that was boring and stupid. I think insisting that most fights resolve that way in a game is (IMO) pretty boring and stupid too. Of course, that's just one dude's opinion. People can feel free to have a different one, but I'll never gripe about people using knockback in any team I play on.
  5. I use the same macro that @Vulpoid uses. It works pretty well, but can be frustrating if the enemy flees, because it makes your character move slower than the fleeing enemy, for whatever reason (i.e. your speed powers will not function correctly as a means of pursuit). This is not a problem with ranged attacks of course. My favorite means to engage in melee is to macro Combat Teleport. You can even run down and kill Tsoo Sorcerers and Sky Raider Teleporters with this amazing power. I love it. Accept no substitute (if you can fit it with your concept, at least)! 😁👍
  6. Too far apart. Makes her look a bit amphibian, IMO.
  7. You and I are very much alike in this way, I have to confess.
  8. You don't get time outs for explaining why you think something is a bad idea. If you got a time out, it was because of the tone and/or content of the reply. On the other hand, if you're unable to explain your position in a sufficiently civil manner to avoid getting a time out, then I guess maybe posting /jranger is a safer alternative.
  9. Understandable. This is frustrating.
  10. True. I guess I'm just crabby about having to craft at all. 😛
  11. @Greycat When you post yes or thumbs up, you're referencing the original post, in which the OP has made the suggestion and explained the reason behind the suggestion (thus providing the context for the yes or thumbs-up reply). In the opposite case, the context is not present. Thus, we are simply left to speculate that you disagree with part or all of the suggestion that was made, but we have no idea which parts, or why. This is why it annoys me. 🤷‍♂️
  12. ... when I go to the AH (which is already a PIA to use) to buy simple, LVL 25 IO's and there are no IO's (or recipes) of the kinds that I'm looking for:
  13. Huh. Interesting. This is why I never tried it; I don't own a copy of the game. Maybe I'll download the launcher and give it a shot, then.
  14. It's a good link for explaining the distribution of xp, but seems to offer nothing useful regarding how influence and recipe drops are distributed.
  15. I don't care for it, but then I also generally don't care for simple "no" or "thumbs-down" replies to posts, that don't provide any context. Heck, at least tell me why you think the suggestion is dumb or bad or whatever. If you explain your position, I might even agree with you. Not knowing or understanding why you don't like the suggestion kind of drives me crazy. But, eh- maybe that's the whole point of those kind of replies. 🤷‍♂️
  16. The only bad build decisions are the ones that result in a character you don't like to play. Ice Sentinel is the one that comes to mind for me. I love Ice blast on blasters, but it's dreadful on Sentinels. Also, most anything with Regen, so far. Still determined to figure out a way to enjoy Regen, though (even though I realize it needs a serious buff). I play and enjoy other kinds of Sentinels (Beam/Nrg, Dark/Dark, etc), which many might consider to be a bad build decision. 🤷‍♂️
  17. Never played on Live, so no experience with it. I'm happy with how blasters work right now, fwiw.
  18. It's okay. My attempts at humor usually fail tragically, regardless. 😛
  19. @Everyone... Pst... this was sarcasm folks. 😉 I guess tone really does translate poorly through text. 😁🤷‍♂️
  20. Hey Devs, Knockback and fear effects make it really difficult to efficiently clear mobs on speed runs. I was wondering if you could just code all the mobs to be immune to fear and knockback. Also, if you could make them clump together in one spot and make them perma-placated, this would really improve my speed run times. Thanks very much. -CC-
  21. It isn't required, but it is appreciated. P.S. I thought your answer was thorough, succinct, and well-argued, and I completely agree with it.
  22. 1 Sentinels 2 Regeneration 3 Kinetic Melee In that order. Certainly, it would really be great if those could at least be addressed before the implementation of any more new material. JMO.
  23. I'm just gettin' warmed up, buddy!
  24. That is an unjust and unfair assertion, because when I create an empty distraction I totally do a much more badass job of it than that. Exhibit A... 😁
  25. I'm not a maths guy. Could someone use a random example with some number crunching to show the difference? I've been playing long enough to know from experience that what Mark believes to be true here, is not actually true, but I lack the mathing skills to illustrate my point. A hard confession to cop to, but there you have it. 😁🤷‍♂️
