Stack as many fear powers in a build as you can, slot them without any damage procs, then just spam fear powers, over and over again, making them paralyzed with fear or fleeing with terror. Take enough passive defensive powers (personal ff, phase, etc.) to cover your ass if it goes sideways. It may annoy the crap out of your teammates, but it's completely non-violent! Actually... this sounds kind of fun... 😆

I do love my DB/SR, but I'm probably a bad guy to ask, as he's not a pylon wrecker. In fact, I have no characters that can take down pylons, even though most of my lvl 50's (including my DB/SR) can solo all non-AV enemies in the game at +4/8. I'm guessing you're trying to build an Arch-Villain wrecker? Maybe we need an AV wrecker build thread? I know there are plenty of people that have builds that can do this and would be happy to provide guidance on how to get it done.

Yep. This. ^

Man, where's that dude that made the Paragon City Animal Control Officer, when we need him? 😄

You're not wrong. I sell everything at 1 inf. Everything! I always have, ever since I figured out it would still make me an adequate amount of influence and minimize the amount of time I have to interface with the crappy AH system. I'm not here to play a market investor. I'm here to play a super being kicking villain (or hero) ass. I offer no apologies for this.

It can very widely depending on which power sets you go with, however; yes, those are both very important. Willpower runs a lot of toggles and you'll (well, at least, I do) want all of them, so recovery is a big consideration- especially since you'll suffer from lack of endurance reduction resistance (energy sappers hurt even more than usual).

That's a good tip- thanks, Shred Monkey. Honestly, it's a bit of why I've been gun-shy about joining high-lvl TF/SF missions. I realize most people running these have a system down and I don't want to throw a monkey wrench in the fun by asking for a spot when I have no idea what to do. With regarding to us airing our likes and dislikes for various game content, and in the event that any ofmy statements in this arena might cause offense, try to soothe yourself with this one, reassuring fact: "My opinions are equally as crappy and subjective as your own." 😁 🤷♂️

Well, our jetpacks aren't so far-fetched now!

Cool. By the time I'm getting ready to croak, people will probably be zipping around in the things (and flying cars), everywhere. 😎 -
How would you rank the MCU works?
Cancrusher replied to Techwright's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Haven't seen Spider Man FFH, Eternals, or Hawkeye, yet. Everything else is easily a 4 or 5 for me (most of them 5). Dr. Strange is my favorite Marvel movie, followed closely by the Guardians of the Galaxy series. -

Now all they need to do is graft it to a fully weaponized, armored exo-suit. -
Yeah, clipping has always been a thing in the game. Some of them would probably work well, others not. I can sort the ones that don't clip out from the ones that do.

What is the dumbest way the game has confused you?
Cancrusher replied to ninja surprise's topic in General Discussion
Not realizing that you can actually be quite a bit further from the mob that you're attacking in melee, than in most other games that I've played. Took me a while to realize this. lol Also, forgetting that I have to reactivate all of my toggles after respawning at my base or the hospital (then dying, after reentering combat, shortly thereafter, because I forget). -
Would love to see it, if it's possible. Being able to swap female faces onto the huge gender body would be cool, too.

Probably best to avoid unsolicited advice, although I'm also a "snooper", tbh. Mostly to read bios, but also just to satisfy my curiosity about how people build their characters. The thing is, a fair number of people (myself, included) deliberately make non-optimal choices when making characters, either to lean into a certain concept to get in the right RP headspace, or just to try working a non-standard build to see if you can meet the challenge of making it work (even though you know it will be much more difficult to play that the traditional power selections). JMO, though. Others may feel differently.

Man, what a cliffhanger to end the episode on. I can't wait for next week! 😬

A ToT League is not more accessible than an AE farm or PI radio missions, which can be done literally any time with 1 to 8 people. Regardless, farming is alive and well on homecoming. It's easy, lucrative, and not going away any time soon. If you object to such, I'm afraid that that ship has already sailed. 🤷♂️ But, again, having said that, I also don't see how the suggestion would enhance game play. Given the limited time and staff that is available to allocate to projects, I also vote no on this one.

Cool. 😎 Also, remember that you can experiment with more or less as many AT/power set combos as you want, since you have 1000 character slots now. Make the most of that. If you try your two characters and don't enjoy them after a while, just make some new, different, characters and take 'em for a test drive. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right AT/power sets that really "click" with you.

Whut?

It's not as farmable as an actual farm, so I don't see how that's relevant. Not exactly sure what "too" farmable is, in any event. I don't really see what the suggestion would add, though. Just more mobs that spawn from doors, instead of in different places on the streets. There are already more than enough mobs to hunt on the streets, so I don't see why we need them to pop out of buildings, too.

Solo every contact. Made it to the halfway point...50!!!

Snarky, you're a beast, dude! 😁👍 I wonder if there's a badge for completing every mission it the game? 🤔 -
Dumb superficial request: Fireplaces for SG bases
Cancrusher replied to Black Talon's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Then Dacy comes in and shows me up with pro-level base building. 😁 (I'm just goofing. I couldn't do any of it if I hadn't watched your base-building tutorials, so thanks! 😄👍) -
I'm gonna agree with Bill here. Tanks are a great choice. Pick a set with good AOE (Titan is a favorite of mine) and look at the tanker topic for examples of how to build them. I like tanks with toggles that continually generate taunt aggro when you have them active. run into a group of enemies, let the toggle hold them on you, and then just wail away. If you don't use macros and/or key binds, you should read the guides on those, too. They help streamline combat with shortcuts so reflexes don't matter as much.

It was before they banned it for being overtly offensive material. 😁
