  1. I was hoping that they were working on the tech power pool... Granted they did just get the science one out, but I am greedy, and I want my beam rifle/traps corr to get the tech pp before he hits 50.
  2. You could probably poach a few other powers from grav control and tweak the numbers to make it more blast than control. All in on repel seems a bit much, but I’d say maybe 3 or 4 repel based powers seems reasonable. You could do Power 1: Lift power 2: minor propel power 3: telekinetic blast, but a cone. Think of a force push from a jedi power 4: aim power 5: major propel power 6: wormhole clone that just sucks the mobs to the center and does smashing damage (simulating smashing your foes into each other) power 7: propel snipe, use a random melee weapon model power 8: epic aoe repel
  3. It would be neat if you had the option of different upgrades. Like you could have a "balanced" mode, a "damage" mode and a "survival" mode as the first upgrade ability and maybe modes for different damage types for the second.
  4. Jack probably should have stayed at head writer or world builder, whatever title that may be. ED and the Global Defense Nerf were necessary, though they ideally should have happened in early beta so people wouldn't miss what they never had. I always thought the levels we got enhancements was odd. Like SO's shouldn't have been available till like 35. It probably should have been TO's till 20ish, Do's till 40ish, SO's after that. That would probably have made the game more in line with what they originally intended.
  5. I would hate this, I like being able to heal a teammate across the map. As for gale, Id say just switch its place with o2?
  6. It would actually be very hard. Basically you would have to reanimate tons of powers. The reason the board we have shuts off other powers if a work around for this.
  7. So two requests, first if possible, could we get the sky raiders model as an alternate to the standard? Second, and probably more controversial, is it necessary that it expire? It isn't a huge deal, its just kind of annoying having to re-summon it. So if possible, would it be unreasonable to have it last until destroyed by a enemy?
  8. Not to poo on your idea, but don't we already have several different heads for werewolves? I think its like a few "ugly" options that date back to the CoV launch, and like 2 new "sleek" wolves... Under monstrous -> Beast ->1,2,3,5 are all werewolf like and Animal Wolf -> grey wolf and arctic wolf, though these are just different textures on the same head.
  9. it would be nice if they could set the boob slider smaller as well. The smallest it scales to is still pretty big.
  10. I say make activae and work as fast as jaunt, but with teleports limited by your endurance. Combine TO foe and friend together, and give Tp the power from martial combat that blasters get. Make the animatin for teleport switchable in the tailor between the original Teleport and jaunt.
  11. It would be nice to have an option to turn the map translucent, so its easier to zoom around with the map up.
  12. I have it on my Storm/elec. It is useful, especially while leveling. Since as a defender you do not have mez protection, things that attack for you while you are out of commission are helpful. Also i have mine 4 slotted with Call to Arms

  14. Honestly, I dont get why you think mind is heavy on control? It gets a ST sleep an aoe sleep, a st hold, an aoe hold, a st confuse an aoe confuse, a cone fear and telekinesis, which is its own animal entirely. It has no Immobilizations, no slows, no stuns, no end drain, no terrify patches like caltrops, no aoe kD/KB like bonfire. These are all various forms of control, whether you approve of them or not. My suggestion was to make the smallest possible changes while allowing mind bring more to a group setting. I can appreciate that mind has its own flavor, but sleeps have very little utility by themselves. A sleep paired with an immobilization allows you to shut down incoming damage via the sleep and still have some sort of effect a second later when your team hits them with an aoe damage power.
  15. I feel like Mind control is a little on the weaker side of the control spectrum. It has two sleep powers and no immobilizations. Telekinesis is powerful, but very situational, and plant control gets a power thats basically as good as minds level 32 power. So my thought, is to give the two sleep powers an immobiliization as well as their sleep, and increase the magnitude of the single target confuse so that you can confuse a boss in one application. Sleeps were always of questionable use, and now moreso, so tacking on an immobilization, even one with a shorter duration than other sets, would help those powers be useful on teams. The higher mag confuse would be used to neutralize more powerful targets, a surgical strike compared to plants carpet bombing.
  16. Ive used one as well, i find navigating between the program and the game cumbersome at best. Actually another thing i was thinking the other day, is it would be nice to export my in game build to a text file or something the planners can import. Though i didnt see an option to track this in the program i was using either, though i could have missed it.
  17. I suggest the set bonuses turn red when you have above the 5 of each type. So if you have six of say 10% regen, that bonus would show up as red from the 6th onward. We already have this in how regular enhancements work.
  18. Here's a crazy thought that might not even be possible... what if elec powers made other powers cost more to cast? Like, instead of just draining, it added a % of end to cast to a mobs powers. So instead of costing 1 end or whatever, now it costs 10 or 20 end to cast. It would make more powerful abilities too expensive to cast if you could drain the mob of enough end, while leaving their weaker abilities still available.
  19. I like volt sentinel, but i have a storm/elec, so having several independent damage pets works for me.
  20. Maybe put -recovery into whatever elec powers that lack it? I know elec blast for defenders doesnt have much in the way of -recovery. Short circuit kinda sucks due to its pbaoe nature, it can be tricky to stay alive in melee range for the duration of the animation. I know I really only use sapping powers when I need to shut down a boss that typically has a strong mez power.

  22. So i don't know how reasonable the suggestion is, but would it be possible for an alternate animation for after burner to turn us into either a sky raider skiff, or a longbow flier? Id love to have a vehicle style of flight, and since afterburner stops you from activating powers that affect anything but yourself, the animation problem is at least partially solved. I think there is also a power you can buy at the p2w vendor that is similar as well.
