  1. Being that almost all damage types have two tags, it is roughly 45 to all of one or another damage types, which would apply in all situations. With 1 foe in range. With 3, overcap. With 8, over 50.
  2. Kruunch, if you are the original Kruunch from live, who authored the original Kruunch's guide to invuln and ss, I'm kind of disappointed in you. Rather unkind to arbitrarily "Call BS" on me, assuming i would lie, rather than asking me how i did it, or trying yourself. There's the build. 90% s/l/f/c/t, 83% ene/neg, 87% to PSIONIC. Defense is overcap with 3 foes in range, 45% with 1. Sigh. It's not rocket surgery, all i did was play around with pines and there it is. A few pointers: jab and punch suck, air sup and crosspunch are far better. skip punch and jab, use air sup and crosspunch in their place as the build shows. the build levels fine, as i always build to play all the way up to 50. at 50, i swapped low end sets for the purples and superiors, and then on into incarnates to pick up mroe resist, more end redux and more heal. No need for rage until 49, due to the crash and the fact that tanking on teams doesn't really require it. Also, once you get all the high end sets, the damage res and the def are so high, the rage crash is meaningless, i can't even tell the difference between crash and no crash. I rarely, if ever, use dull pain. If you play on Excelsior, i'll demonstrate it to you. I'm kinda let down man, really. Kruunch's guide to invuln put me on the path. As an after thought, and an example, i just walked through the Maria Jenkins arc tonight, facetanking all the AV's, including the AV's that spam ene/neg, without having to break a sweat.
  3. Invuln. 800mill deep, incarnates done right... 90% resist to s/l/f/c/t, 83% to psi/ene/neg 45+% def to all Massive Regen, rebirth heal and dull pain. Non-deathable. Yeah calling bs on this. Not to mention you still have to go through having the PSI hole the whole way to getting close to that. Inv is a great set. Just pointing out the pain points (few that there are). 4. Also, this is not some secret, big you use both superior tank sets, avalanche, hecatomb, Armageddon, 2 gift of the achients, shield breaker, etc etc and certain incarnates, you get the above numbers. It's expensive, but not secret.

I'm actually playing him now. I'll copy the build from pines.

  7. We need Peanut Butter Jelly Time. With a baseball bat.
  8. For several game mechanic reasons, not possible. And, it would be immersion breaking as well Sorry.
  9. I'm blind! I'M BLIIIIIND! =D
  10. This is why CoH puts the leather boot squarely on all other games, forever: the community. The best people in the realm. +1 on you for the shout out to a teammate!
  11. This one is very stupid. And I should know better. And pines tells me better. But I'm thorough. So, incarnate destiny rebirth applies a heal and Regen to.... Allies. A side effect of youth, and my native tongue. Ally, allies and allying is third person, by nature precluding the self. The buff applies to the self as well, correct? Rather daft of me to inquire, I am aware. Apologies in advance
  12. They brought this project back from the dead, are accepting thousands in donations, and just leave it as volunteer work for patches? Shouldn't the people taking your money be working on the game? I thought homecoming actually had a crew who cared about it? Why run it if you're not going to update it? I mean don't get me wrong, what they have done is unreal, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see some new options for archetypes etc. Ah, where to begin. I have a few words of wisdom for you. 1. Karma works. Tread carefully. 2. While you may sound exceedingly smart in your own mind, those same utterances are rarely thus when voiced aloud. 3. Pounding sand is cathartic. Try it 4. Take the high road when you feel angsty. Even little girls know better, and often pout, showing at least a modicum of self restraint. And... 5. Bitch not about gifts granted freely. Bad form.
  13. Ah, I misunderstood what you were trying to say then. I was just saying you can get the sound by at least changing the body type. I cried a wee bit.
  14. Sunsett. Two things. One, I plus 1 you on this. Eb on sents is lackluster. Two, it's probably not a high priority fix, as free Dev time would be spent on more pressing matters. In the end, sents suffer from Jack of all syndrome. Looks fun on paper, requires specific sets.
  15. Hmmm... Pie or cake.... What to choose....
  16. You do know that through discussion and sharing thoughts with others, ideas and opinions can change and evolve over time, right? Most assuredly. I am pleased we agree and can teach and learn from each other. Similarly, I am sure we can agree than should an individual make suppositions found to be contradictive, this can cause confusion. Being that confusion can be the direct result of contradictive statements, I am further sure we can both summarily agree that pointing this contradiction out is valid, in order to properly understand. Hence, the mention of incongruent statements.
  17. Yes ... that's kind of the purpose for having a discussion - to discuss a topic with others and flesh out ideas. I'm glad you educated me on the nature and purpose of discussion. Alternatively, the purpose of highlighting your evidently contradicting statements would be to demonstrate the incompatibility of your posts. Now that we have helped each other, would you mind further helping me by clarifying your EVOLVED disposition on this matter? I kindly ask, as it has evidently changed from your original stance. Imagine my inability to comprehend your views, due to the quixotically juxtaposed nature of your thoughts. Mind helping a brother out?
  18. Waaaiiit a minute. I think I'm misunderstanding. There's a way to change my male tank taunt sound to huge.... By surgeoning to huge, then? Back?
  19. The first time you get it, I believe it is 2 hours. Every time after that, 5 minutes. I recall it always being this way.
  20. I want the old taunt sound back, from long ago... The low growl. Gib!
  21. Allowing flight speed enhancement to actually work on fly is not making it OP, especially in a time where travel powers are becoming more and more irrelevant. Your original post eluded to a desire far something far different than what this post indicates. To wit, leap and SS may be faster, but they lack the vertical maneuverability of flight. This is a fair idea. Should flight be enhaceable to be faster? NOT just made at its cap out of the box? You want flight to equal leap speed? Fine, cap the Y axis at leap height, and make flight drop out of the sky at roughly the same time over distance ratio as maax leap. You want flight to be as fast as SS? Ok, then make flight as fast as SS, and anchor you to the ground, save for small "jumps." You want fly to be maneuverable? Then it's not as fast as the other two. Not everything needs to be a carbon copy, really. Maybe, flight got a base speed buff because people cried for it for 7 years. But MAYBE the speed cap was retained because .. Superior y, z axis maneuverability.
  22. Absolutely. I've no problem tossing a few slots into fly to make it go faster (that's kind of what fly speed enhancements are for...). It's needing to take another two powers from the pool in order for flight to reach its full potential. That's the big problem to me and why the nonsensical "must be a balance" speeches don't work. I don't need to take any additional powers in the other travel pools in order for them to reach their limit. You have to with the flight pool. Sure. Take away flight's vertical superiority, and give it more speed. Oh wait, you meant, you want it to be as fast as the others AND be superior in all maneuverable aspects Gotcha, so make flight OP.
  23. More detail, please. Per or post io's? If post, purple heavy, or just normals? If pre, what other qualifications? Teaming? Solo?
  24. Not much more to say, other than with the proper io's unstop is largely just a suicide button.
