Mine never seems to struggle against the majority of content. The trick is to not build for only Fire res 😛 Gotta second whoever said Kinetic Melee. It's...probably solidly the worst. No extra crit or interesting gimmick besides punitive -damage and no real worthwhile build up. That puts it as a garbage tier set IMO

I see PAPs going to 5m. Which I think it’ll stick at or around. More than selling boosters but still less than just outright flipping things with more work. I’ll compile the aether I have and make one last big sell in December when I think they’ll be unveiling the snowmen costumes and be done with the stuff

I would proc FT not AS. AS is for stalker steath ATIO(and the rest of the set. But that's mostly my OCD at this point :P). But yeah Ice/Cold stalker is very nice 😄

Rogue for me. Seemingly heroes aren’t in the business of actually fixing anything, so why not go Rogue? I like the bird, makes for quick swaps on the fly for accolades when needed Not too sure how I’d make it different. Maybe clean up the tips to better reflect alignments and create real choices?

Blasters don't usually go squish. But I guess if you want a easier time of things, then go for Ice/Cold corr or fender.

When I'm on Everlasting it feels like I'm back in '09. Catgirl Demon whatever else hybrids galore. The team banter to me was always campy, but at least it was there. I do prefer Excel now though, much better teaming options for a variety of content as opposed to the SAME blueside TFs or the SAME itrials OVER AND OVE- *ahem* Everlasting has its' appeal though, for those who like the RP scene.

Mine tanked a +2 Reichsman over two brutes. I've turned weirder things into a tank though. (Earth/Ice/Fire dom). Sents make for more consistent off-tanks, whereas Blasters for me are very much a "I need to know what this powerset does before I try and break things" kind of AT. Not to say sent doesnt FEEL safer, just...blasters only go plop if folks aren't prioritizing the right kinda defense. Or if you're not familiar with a set(I have caused some embarrassingly bad faceplants for myself due to not knowing the ins/outs of certain powersets. I will do it again :P)

Whenever it comes to anti farming as of late I assume it’s someone with low or no inf mad because someone else found a way to gain inf faster without the need of others. To which I say: Check the guides section on making Inf. Farming isnt the only way, and you can get your inf through markets(faster and more) or through a number of alternatives!

Time and place? And who sets it? I think the original post you quoted, while a bit blunt, is 100% correct and your post only adds to it’s validity. This is not City of HEROES, it’s a game. ERP is odd and not to my liking, but then again I don’t generally RP much overall. When I see these bios, unless it’s explicitly against Conduct, I ignore it. THAT is the grown up option.

I can’t speak for them but I know the first thing I thought about them was ”Oh boy here comes ‘09 again with the Chibi craze” I dont hate them but I get why others do. I may or may not ever get one, as I’m not big on Chibi-style…anything(Except The Sandman characters. Those are neat! And it’s only because the characters themselves are so well done.)

Well consider several things: Most people dont read everyone’s post, and y’all dont exactly get to the point well, at all. Lots of folks dont come to the forums. And if they do they probably do like me; Skim a thread or two, see if a patch dropped, or get a build or update info(though to be fair I prefer making my own builds or using Discord.). Most dont spend all their time during a day here. Most people dont like reading IRL. I’ve been shocked at the fact lots of people don’t read almost at all unless required. Not to say folks here are all like that, just an observation in general. I consider anyone who gets overly worked up on CoH to be stupid. We’ve all been stupid before 😛

Yeah this pretty much captures me to a T. And for those saying go to the beta server, I feel it's equally as bad as me telling them learn to use IO's in response to feeling left out on teams. Sure, I could be right in some technical sense or another, but it's rude and obviously not a good response to the problem.

I can agree to a fault. I wouldnt say the community overall is toxic. In fact, the in-game community is usually helpful! These forums, which thankfully don’t make up too terribly much of the in-game pop, are pretty toxic yeah. But the game community? Seems about as positive as I remember from re-launch and prior.

30mil should get them some attuned yeah, and definitely the popular uniques(except miracle. That one’s weird sometimes.). The market itself is terrible to be honest, my builds went on average up 200mil in cost, which is insane *I do participate in buy-it now prices though :P

I mean, hitting phase shift EVER or even grabbing it makes me concerned about this build… You can put whatever bells n whistles on it but I still see it, and you still use it, which means it can’t be THAT good 😛 Normally im not this snarky, and I love blasters myself, but you came in with what started as a bit hot of a take but then shifted to “No sentinel can do X like this blaster.” I assure you, I have a Dark/Regen that has. I did a +4/x8 ITF with it and didnt even use MoG(which I mule but hey, it can be nifty at times!) ITF is laughably easy to me and no proof of survivability to be honest. It’s like using Pylons for DPS test, to me at least.

ToT’ing is a mindless activity that’s meant for casuals like myself. I dont think Thats changed i view the monsters as a take em or leave em. Doesnt seem to me anyone’s planning around them. Mow ‘em down like everything else unless you’re solo; then mow or run 🤷🏽‍♂️ Only thing I hate is aether is still worthless in the market thanks to these things. That’ll correct once it’s over though so I’ll just wait
