    Help wanted

    This is the one I'm using for fire farming, I've been meaning to review it trying to aqueeze some more recharge but it's fine with Ageless T3 on so I will probably rebuild him for general content and will replace him for a new farmer since this one has been long time already without getting emp merits when lvling, maybe Stone/Fire or EM/Fire, most likely both so I'll replace the psi/fire too.     Help wanted

    I farm with a DM/Fire on one account and a psi/fire on the other. Before making any suggestions, please let me know if you want a build as cheap as possible or if you don't mind spending whatever inf. Also, I'd like to know if you want to do fire or s/l farming since DM/Fire is an awesome Brute and building for s/l farming will allow you to join any TF in game without major problem while building exclusively for fire farming will be painful if you want to do also other things besides farming.
  3. My mace/da doesn't have fighting pool, he's at s/l softcap and the many mitigation layers from DA keep him alive plus the dmg mitigation from mace's kd. DM has also dmg mitigation in the form of -to hit if you build a high def and a small heal to bridge for when dark regeneration is recharging so I'd say you can pull it off without fighting pool without major problem.   4. This feels a bit like back in the day when some ppl claimed Stamina wasn't needed. I mean, Fighting Pool is not "needed", you can get Rune of Power and when it's down you can rely on insps or take a break and make coffee, you can also rely on teaming with a meat shield and why not, a personal healer. You could also choose Rise of the Phoenix and pump up your recharge so it wouldn't matter if you get killed, I've known in the past players who did exactly that, one of them even considered Rise of the Phoenix as a part of the attack chain. Maybe Fighting Pool is not needed but it is the best solution to make you self reliant at all times.

  6. Torchbearer TFs is a weird channel, plenty of people but I don't think I've ever managed to get anyone for anything from there. The most active channels in Torchbearer at the moment are ULTRA and Union Incarnate Trial

  9. Psi melee is definitely better on a stalker imho. As to secondaries, /rad and /bio are sure bets but I think shield would also be a good match both boosting your dmg and your aoe
  10. Thiis, I am loving my grav cold. I know Storm and Poison are excellent but for some reason when I thought of rolling a grav controller went straight to grav/cold and so far no regrets

  13. Well, the slotting of Burst of speed depends on the build, I sometimes proc it and some other times put a full set. In the particular case of my Ice/MC, I used 3 x Eradication + 3 x dmg procs which is effectively 4 procs since one of the Eradication IO's was the nrg dmg proc. The new Mid's shows now on each power the chance for procs equipped on a power to fire off so in case of doubt, you can check the % of the procs firing off to help you decide how to slot. Regarding Reaction Time, I usually leave it on, should prolly benefit toggling it off occasionally for the burst but tbh, I'm usually too busy with the pew pew and giggles to pay attention to that
  14. Personally I think you should softcap to S/L and nrg def, being S/L most common dmg and being nrg very common at high lvls, especially with a secondary with such long animations. Weave + Maneuvers + Scorpion Shield + sets should take you to 45% def to S/L/Nrg. I like my DP/Energy, despite I use him in melee, I find Energy very useful also for pure ranged builds, you can get Power Boost, Range Boost, Build Up and Energize only (plus the initial lvl 1 power) which are a good help and don't really interfere with ranged only blasters. Of course, it also has melee attacks if you, like me, also like dabbling in melee as well as range.

  18. Not really, it's a matter of understanding the set and knowing what is a priority and what is not. If you are so hellbent on not softcapping to S/L, why don't you play a Rad Scrapper with zero defense whatsoever and see how it goes?
  19. Mmmkay, it seems that the fixed res is given when nearby enemies and then there's a small percenteage per enemy in range. The desctiption of this power is VERY misleading though, ah fuck this
  20. Hello, I was just playing my Staff/Bio Scrapper and I noticed that, despite having Evolving Armor 3 slotted with 3 Reactive Armor IOs at lvl 25, the res I am getting is zero. Checked the power description and, for what I understand, I should be granted a small amount of res upfront that grows for each enemy nearby. I checked and yep, the part for the nearby enemies seems to work but when alone, I got sero res to Fire / Cold / Energy / Negative. If it is working as intended, then I guess the text on the power info should be corrected because it leads to misunderstanding. If not, well, I hope it can be checked up soon.
