I got tired of the bureaucracy in Hell and needed a vacation. Heard about this place called Paragon City where a buncha supers were running amok. Sounded like a good idea. Crafted myself a new body, gave it some groovy claws and a knack for avoiding damage and went to town. Been tearin through the baddies (and goodies) ever since. What's to say? I enjoy flipping out and killing things while painting rooms with their blood and entrails. The name seemed close enough to my real one and American enough to fit in.

Shield is numerically superior to SR. Shield is subjectively very less sexy than SR. SR on a tank is borderline insanely tough. That's without RoP or Darkest Night or both pushing is even further.

As a scrapper, pretty sure this is the way.

Get actual numbers from https://cod.uberguy.net/ Figure out attack chain damage for blasters vs corruptors but add 40% to base corruptor damage for the average scourge adds. Edit: Calculate whatever damage buff averages out to for blasters from their inherent. There still is a damage buff for attacking, yes? Calculate in buffs from aim/buildup/etc based on recharge up time for chain. There is no profit. This is for informational purposes only.

Altruism doesn't exist. If you take a power that benefits you, either directly or because it makes those around you better and since you're on a team you're better for it, it's selfish. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with being selfish when it benefits everyone.

Do the opposite of the speed run sometime. Hop into a normal +*/x8 TF and clear everything. Take breaks whenever you want, kill as fast or slow as you like, it's very zen. Being able to start TFs solo was one of the best changes to ever hit this game.

That movie is up there with Airplane and American Werewolf in London in my hierarchy of perfect movies.

Treat others as they treat you. Bullies only stop being bullies after you punch them in the face a few times. Harm no other and do as ye will. Break that rule and you're no longer protected by it.

Blasters are great on teams. Don't see many of them in the Trapdoor thread. Maybe elec since the devs overdid it on the end drain as they overdid it with the tank buffs? I hate 'em, personally, but I soloed a lot. Anyhoo, on topic, bump the +fury ATO to the same PPM as the other one and let the buff be stackable. For the other, add some +recharge and call it a day. Won't fix much but since the only "fixes" around here are based on making everything OP, it doesn't really matter. Edit: And put the fury cap back where it was before the most recent nerf.

And this is precisely why one playstyle shouldn't be given preferential treatment over another. Screw over the farmers enough, they'll quit playing. Screw over the soloists enough and they'll quit playing. Screw over the hard mode lovers enough and they'll quit playing. Perhaps the ONLY goal should be to avoid screwing anyone over. Edit: And, yes, I'm fully aware that the pursuit of powerset/AT balance will ALSO screw over the overpowered. It's a no-win situation. So in the end, the devs will make the game how they want it and will have a certain player population because of the choices they make.

It's a Super Simulator. It's an MMORPG. It's a Single Player Super Game. There are actual farm simulators out there. AE isn't that. There's no driving tractors or harvesters or herding cows. There's nothing different in AE and the non-AE game. It's all just killing (or arresting if you're a pansy) enemies. Everything else is window dressing.

All of my characters are in a single SG that was only shared with my RL brother, but he no longer plays. We're coalitioned with the dual-SG I hang out with. Our coalition mom even redid my personal base (a standard magic 4 walls a floor and a roof thing) to turn it into a Hellscape. It's a situation that has worked out quite well for me.

Yup. It's good to be rich. It's even better not to give a single flying fark about the aethers or the costumes you get with 'em. I think it sucks complete taint that these devs added yet another gorram currency to the game. It was a stupid decision.

Been doin that for ages. Accolades and soloing the TFs for them is much easier when you're 50, fully IOed out and exemplared down.

RNG is gonna RNG. I've gotten exactly zero... but I'm not playing CoH either. Guess I could take a break from killin zombies and run 10 DA repeatables... see what's what.

I go back to work on Wed. RL devs are MEAN! Makin me do stuff to pay bills. The bastards!
