Praetoria - Imperial City Contact: Praetor Sinclair Story Arc: The Power to Control Mission: Finale - This is the End (Single-Player morality mission) After entering the mission you are put into a cutscene with Belladonna and then the morality option to chooses Resistance or Loyalist. Once you make your choice the cutscene disappears and you are left with an empty roof. Even an explorer like myself, I looked around, didn't see anyone and thought the mission was perhaps bugged. I found through another post that you have to jump down off the roof (and travel) to find Belladonna. I reran the mission through Ouro and looked around, eventually finding Belladonna and her co-horts. But here is what I see, on my screen from near the entrance mission: Those ants in the distance, those are the ones you have to talk to/fight. Never saw them the first time I ran the mission. (I chose Resistance so not sure if they rush towards you to fight if you choose Loyalist.) Suggestion: It would be helpful if there were a speech bubble from Belladonna once the cutscene was dismissed to give the player a clue as to where they are.

Poll: Base Editor Changes We'd Like to See
Oubliette_Red replied to Dacy's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Grouping object would be my #1 ask. For what's not on the list, eliminating the teleporter style connection restrictions, allowing the use of the "ech beacons with magic teleporters and vice-versa. While I look the banner look of the magic beacons, my tired, old eyes just can't scan through them as quickly as the crisp, clear images of the tech beacons. A big ask for what's not on the list is having personal "apartments" and physical buildings in each zone with similar aspect as the AE building or the dome in the AP building, where you can literally look out your apartment window onto the city below. The footprint could be restricted to studio, 1br, 2br size to realistically fit within the building. -

Praetor Duncan is in a bar... What mission is it?
Oubliette_Red replied to thekidflash's topic in General Discussion
I just finished up the entire Betrayal side-swapping run in Praetoria the other day. I do not recall any mission with Praetor Duncan in a bar. In Praetoria she goes bu Dominatrix and is the Nova Praetoria trainer, not a contact, so wouldn't be briefing you on much. Perhaps Dark Astoria? She is a contact there. -

Right, the popmenus are yours, I was thinking it'd be handy for the Devs to add/make available the command for players. -

Would it be possible to get a 'TP to contact' QA power marco added to the freebies popmenu? -

Sounds/Music Mod Request
Oubliette_Red replied to Frozen Burn's topic in Tools, Utilities & Downloads
Your ogg folder will only contain the folders/files that you put there. Mine has a few. :) ogg files are just a audio format, you can use VLC Media Player to listen to them. I sent you a zip of the ToV sfx files. -

Ah, but see... dreams can also allude to illusions so I second the Illusion/Time Controller if going that route. And I do recall Mesmermaid, It's how I came to Dyson Sphere my Grav Bubbler who enjoys hoovering up enemies. -

No problem. :) If you want to grab all of the sound files (and everything else) you can go to OuroDev and dl one of the game archives. -
Sounds/Music Mod Request

1. Yes. Depending on which launcher you are using Tequila - Options: Launch Parameters: -uiskin 2 HC Launcher - Homecoming: Extra Launch Parameters: -uiskin 2 That should give you the Going Rogue start screen whenever you launch. FYI, when you play blueside/redside and exit to the Character select screen, it will display the screen/music for that side, don't think there is a way around that outside of .pigg diving and repackaging. You can however change the music played by substituting the redside music with renamed goldside music. You just need the following folder\subfolder in your game files: data\sound\ogg\FrontEnd\V_MenuMusic_loop.ogg With a copy of the goldside music file renamed to the above. 2. You can alter any/all sfx for your powers, you just need the names of the powers' associated sfx files and the actual Symphonic Control sfx files that you will rename to to desired Sonic Blast power. I could have swore that I had the list of names (that were discovered through yet another thread) for all the Symphonic powers added to my Silence/Modify sounds thread, but they I'm not seeing them. Will have to go on the hunt. Okay, so here are the list of sfx=file names courtesy @Michiyo You just need to place copies of the ToV sfx into the appropriate folder and rename them to the Sonic Blast file names. Those can be found in the tables on the link. in my sig. If you need the sound files themselves I can get those to you, they just take up too much of the limited allotment of posting space we have on the forums. -
Neutropolis zone event "The Great Escape" has useless emote rewards

I think just removing the emote options would be enough, how many folks run the events for anything other than the badge? -

You'd do it for Randolph Scott. -
How confident are you that your build is properly slotted?
Oubliette_Red replied to DougGraves's topic in General Discussion
I am 100% confident that characters are properly slotted, because the game won't allow me to slot a Slow in Run or Exploit Weakness in Healing Aura. Other than that, all bets are off. -
Name database - Will this get cleaned up?
Oubliette_Red replied to Pony Up's topic in General Discussion
Can probably resolve this by spreading your 50's/often-used-but-not-mains across all tabs with characters on them, that way when you are scrolling through to look for that Demon MM you only run on all MM teams, you're more likely to see characters with the warning, rather than just having the more oft used characters filling up the first couple of tab. -
Something else I find handy to keep track of badges more easily is to place a macro on my toolbar: /macroimage Badge_GotTip BgLst popmenu badgelist This will put a noticeable 'Tips' mission notebook icon on your toolbar that you can click on for the badges popmenu. I believe you'll also need the mod which can be found here:

Scrapper and Blaster What am I doing Wrong?
Oubliette_Red replied to WuTang's topic in General Discussion
I've always been partial to playing Support/Crowd Control so when I play on the few melee'rs that I do have, it takes me a while to shift out of timid-mode when approaching mobs. Aslo, often is the time a team mate gets tunnel vision and rushes on to the next mob without even noticing the mob that was right around the corner that aggro'd at their passing. Sometimes it's a glorious mess that we manage to overcome, sometimes we're eating floor, fortunately, it's usually the former. :) -
Wanted to Introduce Myself....and ask questions
Oubliette_Red replied to WuTang's topic in General Discussion
...oof. Here's a link: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Architect_Entertainment Long story short, it's a way to level up quickly by teaming up with others to run player-made missions that are designed to yield maximum XP. This also bypasses 95% of the game. Which many Legacy players have run countless times already, but for people that are new to the game, there is tons of content between the Tutorial and the iTrials. You will hear more than once that in CoH it's "about the journey, not the destination" and unlike many other MMO's the end-game "raids" are not the only thing people do in the game. Personally I never cared much about the incarnate-level trials, there are still contacts I haven't done even since legacy and have only done a handful of TFs/SFs since Homecoming launched even though I have several 50s's. Also for new players all the content and lore (if you care about that) makes for good training on how your character's powersets work. No use in flash-forwarding to if one doesn't know how to play their character. :) -
