Well, I've played it to 50 a couple of times and while I can have fun with lots of the defense sets, I can't say I've had that one OMG fave to really go back to. 😛 In fact, it's Regen I love for concept so much! It's the set I always go to mids because I hope I can do something with it and go "YAY! I cracked the code!" Of course, I don't claim to be the best, so it hasn't happened yet, but I feel it's weaker than the others when IOs get involved. I've leveled it on Brute and Scrapper and my first 50 back on live was Claws/Regen (back when we had XP debt and people took a year or two to get to 50 🙂 ) I think some of the small changes could work without making it OP defensively compared to the others tho. However, I like some of the suggested changes Fast Healing: 100% Regen and -Regen Resist increased doesn't sound bad. Reconstruction: Give it a HoT component...I like it...keeps the regen feeling and honestly, not sure a small HoT would OP it either. Quick Recovery: Good as is to me, but I get why some may think a good place for little buffs. Dull Pain: Another one I'm fine with myself. Integration: 100% be able to enhance it's heal component. Resilience: Little more Resist and add in Slow Resist. HOWEVER...if people really wanted to limit that just a bit...Keep E/N Resist as is, Increase S/L/F/C/T/P Resist. Always feel in comics the regen types tend to resist these effects a little more than normal. Instant Healing: Honestly, I'd like it as a Toggle but tacking a Preventive Level Absorb Proc onto it wouldn't be bad. Revive: Never had a problem with it, other than I feel I'm not invulnerable for 15 seconds all the time. It doesn't have WP's added DMG and ACC for reviving, but it doesn't have the small crash either. Also, it's a power I can save for lvl 49 (I love this power for concept) Moment of Glory: Still feel it needs another 15 seconds. It's already the shortest living survival T9. I feel it needs more time, maybe 5 or 10 seconds would be enough. *shrug* Maybe it doesn't need all the changes and can do one or a few? I will say, I don't chase the defense as much anymore when making builds, as I've come to feel without DDR, that crumbles fast...less so on range. Either way, I'm sure at some point, I'll do Regen again...until then, I'll keep maining Electric Armor Scrapper instead of the Regen.
  2. Forgot about that, yes on more resist with Resilience. Think it would help, and that may be were to put that slow resist.
  3. I like a lot of this. Fast Healing I'd also say add in toxic resist. Reconstruction change looks good. Don't know if Quick Recovery needs that myself. For sure make Integration fully enhancable. Your suggestion for Instant Healing, I like it, but this is where I think the absorb should go by your suggestion, however, make the Absorb passive and enhancable. So the slotting of IH will effect the absorb too. Absorb is like a constant small heal and you click it to go into overdrive (still keep the passive going even when recharging). Never felt Revive needed anything, pretty okay with it myself.

While I've 5 slotted it with Panacea more than once, I started thinking I didn't need to really enhance the heal and I could get other, possibly better set bonuses (do like the 7.5% Recharge and how the bonuses are always in effect). However, I feel the power is more for the +RCH then END/REC and the Healing is just a nice little bonus that works well with the theme of it. Most important part is getting it perma or as close to perma as possible for that nice +RCH bonus imo
  7. You can slot up to 5 LotG I wouldn't skip Fast Healing, as that's 75% Regen and I believe Regen Debuff protection, however, I'd now likely take it later in the build. Love Revive, but it's because I just feel it's so thematic 🙂 MoG could use 15 seconds more duration imo. Instant Healing, I personally would like to see it a toggle again. As it is though, Regeneration is the one set I feel I must take Hasten. I know others think that for EVERYTHING, but for me, it's regeneration.

  10. I don't recall SR getting Absorption, was it sentinel version that I believe lacks Mez protection for it? I thought Regen getting some debuff protection could maybe work for it. Lots of DDR for instance, but then they have to build up that defense through other powers and IOs.
  11. I've done testing, and at least with Scrapper, you're better off using Concentrated Strike in the chain than just the first t1-t3 attacks, at least for the hard single targets. For normal enemies, I would agree, generally faster to just use the t1-t3 attacks and Burst (which I feel gets more then 2-3 foes, but I do try to be in the middle of the group). However, that CS for Scrappers helps recharge Power Siphon. I did test with just the t1-t3 attacks, which I talked about in the Pylon Damage Thread in the Scrapper Forum. For Scrappers and Stalkers at least, I wonder if CS being able to crit would be enough for it's DPS besides just shortening it's animation. However, that doesn't seem like an idea that would help Brutes/Tankers. Focused Burst, I just really want made into an attack that was worth putting into the ST DPS chain, so I can use it all the time! Love it's animation so much!
  12. Bio Armor. It increases the damage, at least ST DPS, that much! Energy Melee for, if I recall, best ST DPS.
  13. As I've been maining the set... Focused Burst needs to be updated. Should get a damage increase to increase it's DPS, in line with the others so it can be part of the regular attack chain. I like my idea of giving it the snipe treatment and that can make it so either you can't take the other snipes (locks em out) or they're on the same recharge. Or hell, able to take two 😛 But just putting it in line with Body Blow or Smashing Blow would be good. Concentrated Strike needs to crit for Scrappers/Stalkers. I feel that's just a given. Even if it's partial crit. If able, get it's animation time down to Total Focus time and it'll probably be a solid t9 set. Now, I can swear I get 5 Power Siphons going at once, but using Concentrated Strike w/ it's long animation knocks that down and it has to be built back up. Maybe if they lasted a second longer?
  14. I like to six slot Scrapper's Strike in damage auras. To my knowledge they don't get benefit of damage procs and I usually like all the set bonuses of the set and the +3% to Critical isn't be wasted in an attack.
  15. I'd leave Ice Melee for Stalker myself, as you get the Assassin Strike with it. I don't care for PC myself and if I recall I had to use the Energy Focus to get it to be a cone. Though, I never complained about EM's AOE being only Whirling Hands. Worked for me. Axe is a good choice to go with tho. Lots of fun with that set on my Tanker.

  17. Energy Melee. Softcap defenses and Panacea/Power Transfer Proc and you have some healing to not worry about that self heal until maybe Incarnate when you can grab Rebirth 🙂 Whirling Hands and Shield Charge for AOE and the best Single Target 🙂
  18. I don't care for Power Crash either. Whirling Hands was enough AOE for me with Energy Melee before, still is now. Also agree on Energy Punch. Since my end ST doesn't rely on Energy Punch, I take the better animation Barrage. 🙂 It only gets used in low level when exempt down.

  20. Effects of mez lasts 50% longer (not sure if they're any stronger in terms of mag), refills endurance bar, and gives mez protection. No change in damage as they changed Domination damage to have that effect permanently. What's wrong with all that exactly?
  21. Didn't notice this. Would not be bad at all! Not sure if it needs to be energy pistol, but I like the idea of it.
  22. You know, Energy Aura on a Stalker sounds so much better than it is on Melee, considering it doesn't have a taunt aura tied to it's mez resist. Not sure I'd go Energy Melee on Stalker with no PBAOE attack, but on the other hand, I love the pom pom effect.

Didn't expect it to break numbers or anything, just tested due to a comment on Discord and I happened to have a Water/SR Sent 4m40s - 4m50s DPS Time 260-264 DPS Assault Hybrid (Passive Only) - Degenerative Core - Musculature Radial Water Jet > Dehydrate > Hydro Blast > Repeat - Throwing in a Knockout Blow when it was recharged.
  24. As someone who mains a Kinetic/Electric Armor Scrapper, but has rolled a Kinetic/Bio Scrapper, I have to say, Kinetic is not an underperformer. The Kinetic/Bio of mine got a 100 second pylon time and another poster was getting 95 seconds. This isn't to say it doesn't need some tweaks (Concentrated Strike needs trimmed from 3.036 seconds to 2.772 seconds at least, wouldn't hurt to something besides reset Power Siphon on crit too...that may be enough, but I'd personally also love to see Focused Burst animation time taken from 2.244 to 1.584 - 1.848 cause I want to use it regularly) to make it more enjoyable for more.
