Yes, the PvP sets provide their bonuses like Purples do. That said, my advice is this: If you plan to use PvP enhancements while leveling (they can be slotted starting at level 7), then use Attuned. If you plan on waiting until 50, then use the boost option if you like. Or course, there is the third option of using Attuned while leveling then changing out that set for a Boosted one at 50. Another important thing. If you plan to buy IOs on the market, the system will now allow you to purchase available Attuned IOs for the same cost as Crafted ones (it converts them).

Sorry about that. Being my primary focus, the Tanker changes consumed almost all of my attention and I didn’t even think to check on Brutes (Had I hopped on a Brute even for a moment, that bug would have been apparent). I promise to do a much more thorough job of it in all future beta tests.

This. Closed testing would be even more fluid and constantly subject to change (with those that I have been in for pre-Snap City of and other games changing day-to-day). Better to keep all of that under the hood rather than having 100+ pages on why having the visual effects of Kinetics changing into neon purple has ruined the set forever.

We never did get to refine the base raiding system because they dropped the idea. You can bet that a great deal of your concerns would have been addressed throughout the life of the game if it actually worked.

The best PvP aspect that they created for this game was the base raiding system. Too bad they never could get it to work well enough and abandoned it

On Champion, one of things that we did was have a PvP boot camp. Organized PvP has limited AT options for competitive play, so the goal was to increase the PvP playerbase. Each week, we played in 10-level increments with veteran players giving advice and actually teaching participants in all aspects of competitive play. At the end, they even gave out rewards to players in different categories (mine was Most Improved, since they were impressed that I was the only one that played my character through each level and never Powerleveled). After the boot camp, we then joined the PvP community and went from there. Perhaps something like this would be an option?
