If I did this I’d have to grab force of will for some aoe fun, maybe be the turtle hermit with all his little students. I remember having an assist button and trucking around in rvr way back in the day; so happy we have through targeting now.

It’s not so much that I need a tank, as that I need someone standing next to the mobs for my aoe -res toggle, which is usually a melee character of some kind.

I’ll debate the idea that st heals are better than pbaoe heals as with a pbaoe I don’t lose time switching targets.

If mercs are the only MM you’ve ever played they’ll feel just fine to you.

I think the only time Gaussian’s build up proc can affect pets is in the T2 thug pets as they have leadership auras they cast that affect all the thugs. I’d think that would also be true for the wolves that cast buffs but haven’t read that anywhere. I typically grab the leadership pool powers and the fighting toggles just to buy myself some wiggle room when the shit hits the fan. As far as slotting all the auras I usually just dump them in the temp pet summon demon gets as I don’t use it very often. If you want to use it more though you could probably dump one each in your T2 and 3 pets. That’ll leave room for 2 acc 3 damage in all your pets. The kd proc from OF is nice for the 6th slot on your T1 for some extra damage mitigation. As far as running 3 acc/dam IOs on your pets so you can try to slot some extra procs in there, that’s probably pretty safe to do. Personally, considering the minimal debuffing you’ll do in thermal, I think you’re fine using the three attacks. You might also consider force of will for another aoe along with your epic pool aoe.

I guess that makes sense; I wasn’t looking at it from a proc angle as they don’t benefit from kinetics, but since radiation is a debuff, should be good to go. I haven’t dug around to see how sonic fares from procs to compete.

If I’m not mistaken radiation only applies-def, which wouldn’t seem all that important in the incarnate world where you have tons of accuracy. I’d think the -res would be more beneficial, which is why I went sonic with my kin def.

I’m working my way towards the force of will aoe and the T5 defensive buff. I think once everyone has maneuvers going, tough/weave/sonic bubbles should be enough to help someone eat an alpha. I was actually keeping my seeds in reserve most the time for ambushes and unexpected adds. Maybe we build a two man rotation for each pack? Sadly I can’t bubble myself or I’d be happy to lead the seeds. Too bad our pets are ranged or I’d -res bubble one of them.

I would think any group heavy in CC would make a good showing. So maybe CoT for low levels?

My emp is a bots MM, and went Emp for thematic reasons as he’s a robotic paramedic system designed for insertion into highly dangerous areas.

I love my TW/regen, even when moving slow. I think it reminds me of all the big weapon wielders in Soul Caliber, and with a huge weapon it should feel slow at times. The only thing I might change is tying animation speed to the rage bar instead of momentum, so that the longer you’re in combat the faster you’re getting, but that would probably require a lot of work.

I’m running with double xp. I figured I can still run with the group when I’m 50, and inf is better then.

You may be right, I don’t have a lot of experience with AVs and immobilize.

Yeah, the hybrid powers like wp are nice, and I’ve got a regen brute, scrapper, sentinel and stalker so what’s good us goes out the window for whatever my fantasy is atm.

I believe the fear aura also has-hit that you can slot for.

I’m thinking stealth with LoTG would still be useful, since you can slap a stealth IO in sprint and zoom around in speed ITFs and what not.

Hmm, maybe I just never noticed the issues because I wasn’t running x8 on my plant.

I can still kill things as electric, and it fits a lot of the themes I have for characters so I’ll happily keep on using it.

I’d say that in most cases doms handle large groups of mobs better, but I’m not sure that grav has much in the way of aoe controls. Both of them would do fine with small groups, while not providing much utility versus EB/AVs. Then again, I don’t know if you can stack enough KB to push an AV around.

Do you need hasten on an I’ll/rad to get perma PA? Thanks for your time.
