  1. All of Penelope Yin's TF missions are in IP.
  2. Rotating the plot won't change the orientation of the rooms - if I am understanding your question, you're looking to change the position of the room itself. To do that, click on the room(s) you want to move while in edit mode. You should see a button for "Move Room". Use that to drag them where you want. That button allows you to reposition the room(s) to whatever orientation you want.
  3. I don't think these are accurate or fair generalizations. People (such as myself and many online friends) who don't PL to 50 and use TFs for levelling generally skip everything we can as well. Not because we are in a race to 50, rather older TFs like Citadel and Synapse are a boring slog. I also know of people who farm PL alts to 50, yet still enjoy playing these older TFs without skipping/stealthing anything. For me personally, if Synapse or Citadel were "updated" to make everything all in one zone, that would be a big help.
  4. Regardless of when they were released, they're still different systems in how they work and what they do.
  5. Yes. Right click while in Upgrade Plot view.
  6. You can substitute those with any other AT and still come to the same conclusion.
  7. Why wouldn't we? Level Pacts can allow those who are offline to earn XP if the other in the pact is online playing. It keeps everyone the same level, including powers/slots etc. If I'm 50 and sidekicking my son on his level 5 toon, he doesn't have access to the slots, powers, enhancements etc. Same for exemplaring down to him. Were we able to level pact, he would be at equal performance level.
  8. The level pact system was/is entirely different than the exemplar/sidekicking system.
  9. If you're going to require being near an already existing mode of transit, there is no reason to keep a command of some kind. Just use the portal. The nice feature of the code (and temp power at the P2W store) is it can be used from anywhere. I like the idea proposed in the threads about this topic where it could have a brief customizable animation (to prevent if from being abused as escape from death in PvP and on MOTF runs) and keeping a pre-programmed base code. @Mnemnosyne thanks for making this! Will definitely give it a try.
  10. I agree. The -100% Recovery Debuff is just plain stupid.
  11. That wasn't the reason for it at all.
  12. Thanks so much for hosting this and congrats to all the winners! I spent quite a lot of time visiting all of the bases here and very much enjoyed it. Some truly epic work and well worth a visit! Thanks again for hosting this. 😁
  13. No, that isn't what I said. More challenging to me means a team of incarnates (regardless of AT mix) not steamrolling +4 x 8 TF or ITrial runs. What you're asking for is content that requires a certain AT mix in order to complete. Much different.
  14. Sure. Why not? Are you suggesting people are not inviting or kicking Controllers or Defenders off of teams because they "aren't needed"? I'm sure that does happen, but those people who do it are stupid in my opinion. I'm sure there are people who prefer a brute over a tank or a stalker over a scrapper too. From my experience, overwhelming majority of the time, PUG teams work just fine regardless of AT mix. That is a good thing to me. Personally, I love having Controllers or Defenders on a team. I even remade my Empath I had on Live recently as my next project.
  15. There is nothing fair about requiring a specific team makeup in order to run content.
  16. I agree. The suggestion seems to be coming from a false premise that support ATs (eg. Defenders / Controllers) are in some way not desirable. In my experience, this simply isn't true. Any AT is desirable and welcome on any team I run. All of them bring something to the table and I have been on many successful TFs without the "optimal" team makeup. The "trinity" as a requirement is a relic in my opinion. I've said this in other threads - the problem is not with power creep or incarnates overpowering everyone. The problem is there is not enough content designed for Incarnate level teams to be a challenge for them.
  17. Thanks for the reply. Wow, that bad eh? Shame as this was a nice feature.
  18. ^ That. Which is one of the many reasons why getting the back end up to par is a good use of time.
  19. Anyone have any SJ/SR builds they would be willing to share? I have an alt I'm working on and have tried a few different builds and I can't seem to decide on which one I like. I would be interested in seeing how others have built them for ideas. Thanks in advance.
  20. Mostly a question for the Homecoming folk - as I understood it, this was causing issues on the server so it was disabled. Are there any plans to bring this back? Was a nice feature and would love to use it with my kids.
  21. I wasn't suggesting they were mutually exclusive. Writing missions is one thing - getting them into the game is another and I think it safe to say there is some level of programming involved to do it. As was suggested earlier in the thread, anyone can feel free to volunteer their time. Untangling the code and getting it up to modern programming practices and standards will help a lot in many areas, new content included.
  22. We will eventually need something for all the incarnates to do that is a challenge for them. Running the few iTrials that exist now are already far too easy.
  23. Going to go out on a limb here and suggest that backend stuff - like the 64bit client - and un-spaghettifying the code might be a better use of time. I'm all for new content, however I think making sure the client is brought up to snuff is the first step.
  24. Was going to say this. I like the system we have here much, much, much better than we had on live in this regard. Items are much more affordable here.
  25. You're welcome! Enjoy! 😁
