    After leveling a /Regen, a /Bio and a /Willpower toon to 50, have to say I agree /Regen is the worst of the lot. IH should be put back as a toggle IMO.
  3. Not sure what you mean here? Are there any adjoining rooms to it? If so, there should be a doorway automatically connecting them. No, although I greatly wish there were. :( You will want to check out the guide Raevyn put together all about Base Teleporters. I would also recommend reading through the Base Builders Cheat Sheet. Those will answer a lot of your questions.

  5. Scroll up. I just explained how KB does not bother me in the least and I can/will adapt to it, just as I will adapt to any variety of powersets and playstyles.
  6. It is not arbitrary whatsoever. If you're on a team with nothing but energy blasters blowing mobs up who also happen to knock stuff around as a result of how the game is programmed, you're still doing damage, still completing the content and participating. If you're on a team where everyone stands at the door doing nothing, nothing gets accomplished. These are not the same thing.
  7. It's not hard to understand at all that you personally don't like KB and consider anyone on a toon that has KB in their set a nuisance, irritating and they are "griefing everyone else".
  8. I love Broadsword. Very fun set. One of my mini toons is a Shields/Broadsword Tanker. She is for all intents and purposes unhittable in melee range due to Parry coupled with the DEF from Shield. I also love the animations for Disembowel and Headsplitter.

  14. Leeching is an entirely different subject. On whether or not it is ok to tell others how you think they should play, on this we can agree to disagree here. To me, context is irrelevant - it is simply a matter of personal preference. I'll let others play as they like so long as they are not willfully and deliberately trying to grief me or everyone else. I can adapt and let people enjoy playing the game the way they want to because that is the purpose - for everyone to have fun. KB does not bother me in the least. If I'm on my tank and someone knocks a mob away with KB, I do my job and move to re-acquire aggro or wait for them to come back to me for more. It keeps me on my toes. If I'm scrapping, I'll switch to another target or chase one down and pummel it until dead and then move on to the next victim. If I'm on my blaster, I'll just choose different targets until the ones knocked away come back into range. Same goes for my controllers, defenders, corruptors or whatever other AT I may be playing. I'll adapt to the flow of what the team is doing. At least to me, if someone is playing a way you don't care for, then find a different team or solo. Change yourself instead of trying to change others.

  16. You can build above the base. Basically, in the object editor fill the room from floor to ceiling, press F3 to enable room clipping and move your base entry portal on top of the room. Take a look at the Base Builders Cheat Sheet
  17. It's not that it isn't impossible. STO has a similar system where people can craft or re-engineer the stats on gear pieces. The choice is totally random though and you kind of need to keep rolling until you get the proc you want. The cost is prohibitive though.
  18. What exactly would be the trade off here? The cost? I can foresee people wanting to make sets that add +DEF to each level (eg. +DEF for having 2 in the set, +DEF again for 3 in the set etc.).
  19. Hmmm... a battle planet with different themed "zones" within it might be interesting...
  20. No, no need to craft them. Zone beacons are available under the Teleport tab (either Tech teleport or Arcane teleport)of the base editor. Only requirement is to use the matching beacon and device, meaning tech beacons go with tech teleport units.
  21. I believe work benches do not function anymore as these were more for base raiding. They are more set dressing now. What teleportation pieces were you looking for?
  22. I didn't care for it either, however watching my Talon pet in BAF the other night inspired me to try it again. That thing was shredding prisoners like there was no tomorrow!
  23. You pretty much need the cap in zones. Back before the cap we had folks herding the Perez park map for lowbies. Also witnessed people herding so many Rikti monkeys from Monkey Island in PI over to Ghost Falcon that the server couldn't render them all. Quite a lot of people AFK got griefed there.
  24. I have a Le Petomane inspired RAD/RAD Corruptor who I don't play as much as my other toons unfortunately because the sound vfx just don't fit the concept.
  25. Thanks! Now to come up with a concept for Everlasting server! Hmmmm.... what to choose?? Baxter Building? Helicarrier? Sanctum Sanctorium? Starship Enterprise? Hall of Justice? Asgard? Volcano Lair? Battlestar Galactica? Kind of interested in giving something like this a go...
