HELP! New laptop has huge ping when playing
Herotu replied to Flintlock Burnfur's topic in Help & Support
If it's a 32-bit client, doesn't that mean it will "only" use 4GB of memory? That doesn't sound awful for such an olde game, to me. -
The metadata says 08 July 2007, 21:05:53 but it might be wrong.

If you were to add a zone to Paragon City...
Herotu replied to Techwright's topic in General Discussion
Ah, then that's where we differ. If it's for narrative purposes and not used excessively, I can tolerate some restrictions, if they serve their purpose properly. -

I don't think they exist. -

I have a physical one here, I got it with the Good vs Evil edition of the game. It's double-sided. Oh hang on, it's different! -

The more you post, teh more I think you want another rework of Dark Astoria 😉 I do too! It's such a cool atmospheric zone, but f-that, I'll just fly over everything np. Now, let's think how movies get around this. Well if I think about the X-Men, there's always a reason Cyclops can't do anything for the entire movie. It could by kryptonite or some maguffin or a tradition or an old charter or something, but the point is that disabling heroes is a staple of the genre. It happens all the time, it's part of the three-act structure. Re: Shadow Shard. I have a few golden rules for video games - Floating islands always suck is my #1 golden rule. Roger Dean has a lot to answer for. -
One day you will get a pet - and that will do mild damage while you sit there respamming controls. Fun! (or so I'm told)

The Grimm family should be righteously very angry.

"Read the room" means to consider what everybody around you is thinking. I don't think that makes sense in this context. Thanks for reminding me about the quotation period tho, I understand the latest posts are back on topic, but I wanted to talk about the other thing, and so I did. FREEDUMB!

Whenever I was grouped with Illusion controllers, I considered them lazy. Then I played one - what a bore it was to keep summoning over and over. It's a shame, it looks so cool on the tin. Then the Mastermind came along!

"Stop trying to control people" - Have you ever heard anything so ridiculously daft? Talk about trying to dominate a narrative. The "freedom at all costs" nonsense comes straight out of the neoconservative playbook. We need high standards to keep things in a sensible place. Otherwise we get extremist nonsense.

I loves me some 45 degree angles!

Would it be poor taste to have their characters as zombie mobs in Dark Astoria or somesuch? I mean... I'd love to be memorialised in such a way. Not that I'm worthy of it.

With all this ignoring, we might as well not have chat at all!

... it reminds me of this creepy Mansun video. Mansun - Negative

I love this video. It's ingenius. I'm sure Dali would approve. I don't want to tell you how to read it, but if you could read your mind ... the pages are blank. Clinic - If You Could Read Your Mind

I think it's good to be unpredictable. Predictable = boring. If you want boring, I know a spreadsheet I can put you in touch with ...
