  1. White Blush - Jolene No, it's not a cover version (of THAT song, at least).
  2. My own dilemma is that I want to play with other people, but they don't want to escort some "noob"-ish person around - and why should they? So I do a mission with the text-to-speech going over the mission text in the background, but it can get pretty boring and feel ponderous with very little exp for a mission. But then I join a team and it's "there was a story"? Aaaaand mission complete, well done everybody thanks for joining and now I've got 3 more levels (wtf?!). I'd like something in between. Apologies if this seems unrelated, I know it's not exactly the same issue as the OP has, but I believe they both fall under the broad banner of user-experience.
  3. The Wannadies did some incredible bangers. The Wannadies - Someone Somewhere
  4. Let's just remind ourselves that Thatcher's dead... aaahh, that's better. Mogwai - George Square Thatcher Death Party
  5. Hello americans, the hand gesture in the image is rude in the UK. Super Furry Animals - The Man Don't Give a Fuck
  6. Trippy Wicked and the Cosmic Children of the Knight Dragonaut cover (Sleep) Sounds like a pisstake when you don't know Trippy Wicked's own music.
  7. The basist who's replaced Kim Deal in the Pixies, Paz Lenchantin, is really great. She was in The Entrance Band. Here is their most well known song (I think). The Entrance Band - Grim Reaper Blues I was at the gig with the mirror in the background, here's a picture... It's was the 25th of June 2011, in the basement of a pub called The Drop in London.
  8. ... and the rock clubs would play "Debaser" and "Gigantic".. Nobody was playing "Where is my Mind". Who'd have known what would happen?! (When I saw them in London, I was amazed how tight they were, and how they quickly raced through the set).
  9. I love the Pixies. The indie clubs always played, "Here Comes Your Man" and "Monkey Gone to Heaven" ...
  10. A staple of every Indie disco since 1989 ... Fugazi - Waiting Room
  11. BOOM! One of the best albums of all time. Ride - OX4
  12. Heh... Rufus, Roger Taylor's son is the drummer in Justin Hawkins' The Darkness. They probably rehearsed this over the dinner table. Here's a spin on a song by The Smiths that's probably being googled a lot at the moment.
  13. A Place To Bury Strangers - I Lived My Life to Stand in the Shadow of Your Heart
