Yeah we wanted a comparison with the ATO in play. I'd also like to see a comparison vs not using ass shock from hide but using hide crit on something else and only using the quick ass version. But really I'm not much of a numbers guy. I enjoy playing the faster style so much more that it'd have to be a serious gimping for me to go back to the plodding pre changes style. Ran a tf last night with another stalker and a kin sb'ing us last night and it was an absolute blast. Just target after target melting with no animation delays.

Stop buying SOs. If you have your late game build planned go buy the cheaper stuff that you already have the slots for attuned. For the rest make level 25 or 30 IOs. Keep at the bloody rainbows and add attuned stuff as slots and money allow.

I seem to get the LotG 7.5 at a higher rate converting from other sets than within set. Actually a lot higher. Obviously a small sample and observational, but still. If I get one of the lesser selling pieces i just defense convert again.

At this point the only reason I'm not slotting all attuned set IOs as I level is that I'm too busy playing to make the builds and there's no mobile version of pine's. So from my point of view lower level regular iOS are a waste of money but one I'm OK with because it's not a lot and I'm lazy. But regular IOs at fifty seems like a colossal waste of both time and money chasing a 'cheap' build. Was glad to see joyispunkrolex confirm that. Now if only someone will make a mobile builder I can never craft another regular IO other than my hasten recharges and swift runs etc.

Set your level parameters at the auction house from 1 to 1. That way only the attuned versions will come up on searches.

I'm gonna want to see some numbers before I believe a claim like that Solarverse. Sure placate is good for survivability and if I have room I'll take it, but on the face of it I find it hard to believe that DPS is increased by adding in the placate animation and the longer ass strike animation over the zippier playstyle. Seems especially unlikely to me on a team situation with the increased critical chances and the frequency of things dying while you're mid-animation.

Rad will be an easier ride leveling, but both should be viable IOd. And yeah fire breath is trash.

Regenerative doesn't have any effect from boosting, and no benefit to having attuned over just the lowest level. It's a flat bonus that works like a set bonus. The 3% in steadfast also works like a set bonus, but it has a resist component to it as well. So for that it would depend on whether you exemp a lot or not. You'd have to compare in pine's the different levels with or without boosts to find your sweet spot for the content you do most. If you never exemp, boosted top level would be optimal. Personally I just get attuned and forget it with that one

Sorry, been prolly 10 years since I've played an ill troller against mobs other than GMs 😀 I just remembered things flying everywhere but I guess that's just from Phantasm being sloppy nrg blaster guy.

I'm having fun with it mid 30s. I mostly just ignore the insight mechanic apart from throwing a couple quick hits on a boss to trigger it before using greater psi blade. I'm sure if you paid attention you could work it for more optimal DPS but it seems to kill quick enough so far and I've never been one for being too concerned with attack chain. My only real complaint so far is the knockup in the tier 9 will often take your target of of melee range.

I've got dozens of mids builds from before and from during the hiatus that I just did for fun. And they're now all completely useless :D

Are there people just slotting all basic IOs at 50? To what end? To save money? I'd be surprised if that's actually cheaper than a low end IO build in the current economy.

If not shield is go rad. Regen will be very painful with no primary mitigation. It'd be OK tricked out with insane recharge for mog and shadow meld though.

Unless you plan on boosting there's no reason to keep anything at any level when you can just sell it and rebuy it attuned for the same price. Sounds like you've found a good moneymaking niche. Can always just mix ticket and exp runs til you're incarnated out. If you pick the right things the first time it doesn't even take that long on a farming toon (I did not, I'm still grinding levels in the 80s because I need the emp merits to correct my initial choices).

I do the 4 perf. shifter too. presumably i like the 4th set bonus but i don't remember what it is. That's another i just do automatically and adjust if necessary.

Contact missions switch around pretty regularly. Now if radio missions were sending you to other zones, that'd be a bug. The last bit you describe sounds like a qol feature ;D
