  2. That took almost half an hour because i was typing it all in a .txt as i went. normally it'd take prolly 3-4 minutes a tray.

    Significant influence isn't gained from actually playing until you hit 50. Sell your stuff on the market. Convert garbage to gold. Market forums and guides have several threads that'll help you in no time. Look for Shinobu's step by step guides.

    First off brutes just have end issues at 20, sorry. Getting to 22 where you can slot regular level 25 IOs will help if you can't afford to already be running sets. Make sure you're slotted for accuracy as that'll be more bang for your buck than endurance reduction. As to uniques - numina's regen/recovery, panacea hp/end, miracle +recovery, performance shifter +endurance (looking at 20-25 million for the lot). Also go buy the survival amplifier temp power from the p2w vendor, it has a good recovery buff (the offensive and defensive ones are great too if you can afford). Should be fairly cheap at 20 still - grab 8 hours now as the price goes up the higher level you are.
  8. I'd convert to another set. sciroccos will convert by type to obliteration but those vary in price from 1.5-4.5 million depending on the day. Sciroccos themselves would sell for 1-2 and you have multi-strike and cleaving blow at essentially any level to muck up the works. So @200k per typed conversion the money's just not there. there's no spreadsheet for all this but Shinobu and others have spelled it all out in several places. Here's one.

  13. I just used short forum export in pine's with official forum (think that was default) format checked and "export datachunk if creating a datalink isn't possible" checked. I also had "don't export invention levels" checked but I think that was also default.
  14. Actually I'd probably change out slow radiation siphon for the crappy cone or the super slow devastating blow if I were making today. But really I wouldn't use either of those any more than I do siphon. I play it like an old school buzzsaw brute with the two quick hitters and gloom being my main attacks apart from the AOE. Devastating is great damage/activation according to Pine's but I just can't stand attacks that take that long.   15. Presumably a couple STF (or MLTF if you must) runs would do it for villain disruptor. There are like 15 villain AVs in it. I got the hero slayer from LRSF runs before I even knew about the perk.
  16. If you can afford to keep it running at 50 the offensive amplifier temp power from p2w will get you insta-snipe with just kismet and one slotted tactics. Not to mention the damage and recharge buffs, which are decidedly more than just icing.

As I said elsewhere (but I forgot one), I only find it to be worth it in a few edge cases - botz when there's a 2 million difference between regular and kb (now only rarely), Aegis when there's a large difference between rech/end and psionic and the other 4 pieces (reasonably often), Decimation proc when the others are all selling over 2.5 million (usually only weekends), LotG end/rch if it's not selling over 3 million. I'd say probably steadfast too but I don't convert in that range. The sets with only one winner and 5 others aren't worth the risk imho. If I get numina I just sell whatever piece and usually get a couple million. If i get miracle or performance shifter i just reconvert rare.

I'm only at level 30 but I make a final build to level with if i'm familiar enough with the powers so I can throw attuned versions of my final IOs as I go. It's already very fun and easy with insta-snipe (kismet, a level 25 to-hit IO in tactics and the offensive buff from P2W does it) and the kb to kd in explosive arrow.   20. you can build and convert them for a fraction of the price, but you'd then still need to buy them on the AH to get them attuned or waste 3 or however many million using a catalyst. oh and my post re in set attuning got zapped by forum migration - i only convert in set when BotZ kb is selling for over 3 million (rare now), when the Aegis +psi and end/rech are selling for under 2 and the other pieces over three, and when the end/rech and def/rech Luck of the Gambler pieces are selling for much less (they fluctuate from a bit less to 3 million less depending on the day). My basic rule is I only convert in set if it's only going to take one or two conversions to get something good. I'll never play the lottery for one good piece like miracle or sudden acceleration.

  22. I thought who shall die #1 only gives 20 merits the first time you do it and then every 7 days. I think you only get 5 merits after you finish it the first time until the 7 day window expires. It does unless they changed it sometime in the last few months. I was getting cooldown like on live running it on my first HC toon.

I paid 100k each for converters and 22,222 each for 10 recipes @ level 31. bought salvage at 1111 and 2222 for common/rare. crafting costs were 48.2k. Looking at ~75k but we'll call it a hundred for simplicity's sake. I then converted them to rare so I'm at 300k per before converting by rarity: 1 ) -> zinger, Ghost widow, Force fb, nictus trip (almost stopped here), analyze weakness, lady grey, stupefy, impervium armor res. started converting by type -> titanium, impervium trip, unbreakable e/r, titanium, UNBREAKABLE GUARD R/E. Last couple sales were under 3 million but it was Friday evening so i listed at 3,010,000. Cost 2 million, sold 4 million. profit ~1.75 million. 2 ) -> Widow, LG, annihilation a/d, timespace, ToDeath, celerity, Gift of ancients. now by type -> reactive trip, LOTG D/R listed at 3.56 million. Cost 1.4 million. sold 5 million. profit ~3.25 million 3 ) -> KINCOM DE listed at 3.01 mill. cost 400k. sold 4 mill. profit ~3.25 million (normally I'd expect this to sell between 2 and 2.5 mill but there were only 3 for sale when i listed). 4 ) -> stupefy, Dark watcher proc, turtle, AEGIS R/E listed at 3.1 mill. Total profits ~24 million. Seems about right for one tray given that i've been doing 3-7 a day and throwing 100-250 million off to alts per day.
  24. For winter IOs, the normal and superior versions are bucketed. For ATOs, they are not. You're right, my bad. Was convinced I'd seen winter with different prices so I went and checked - turns out I probably had as the data fetching bug seems to hit them really hard :D
  25. /rad is great. i'd put it close to bio and fire just based on my psy/rad scrap which wasn't even supposed to be a farmer. i've been planning to make a TW since i wasn't able to finish my tw/elec on live, but i'm now unsure whether to make it bio or rad. not as if i need another farming toon but it's not as if i needed the last 3 melee toons i've made either.
