  1. This should not be extended to max level characters. It is possible to out level content in PvE. Why would this change in PvP zones? Wouldn't this just further encourage skipping lower levels, farming to 50 and maxing out a character before heading to the lower level PvP zones? It seems that would further increase the gap between average players and more experienced PvP specialists.
  2. It shouldn't just be easy to reveal all the badge locations. If there was some element of opening them per zone or per account then this is a good idea.
  3. No. "Having mini games" in power sets. Okay you like them, not everyone does. "NOT having them".. Umm there are some in CoX, aren't there? If everything has some builder spender or combo mechanic that's frankly the opposite of "Differentiation and specificity".
  4. Keeping some different flavors of powers sets is preferred over making everything the same. I HATE combo mechanics, so I just don't play Street Justice, Dual Blades, etc.. I don't begrudge those that do UNTIL they start advocating to proliferate that 'flavor' to Stone Melee or Energy Melee.
  5. Puma is correct.
  6. Winter Packs will go on sale during the event. Just know, many are going to be doing the same thing. Expecting to immediately sell Winter-Os for 20M may not be reasonable (unless you're willing to wait until summer to sell). The price could/should fall in line with similar enhancements until well after the event. Due to the volume of in-set converting: The price may hold for a bit, but don't be surprised by a dip.. maybe to 50-55K. The market can absorb 10s of thousands but not millions. Reasonable expectations: 12-14M for winter-Os, 55-60K for convertors. Busy elves should get those sales in sooner rather than later and before the Merry Christmas price dip.
  7. Yep, yep Don't worry the feedback has been heard by the HC team (I promise) Really, most folks are very close to being on the same page. Examples: New cast time for Total Focus is better, Whirling Hands being brought up to status quo is better, and who doesn't want fast Energy Transfer???? No one? Oh one person over in the corner 'it feels more powerful!!' yep, yep.. Do I see a guide to effectively using cones on melee characters coming soon? I seem to be having some trouble on a Stone/Energy Melee Tanker in particular. side note: Technically, in focused feedback, comments are to the HC team not to other posters (..but many of us are guilty of this. Thx HC team for letting us back & forth a bit)
  8. Poppycock. No offense, but for some, TF was a skip-able power. I definitely skipped TF. It was waaay to slow for what I was doing on Stalkers pre-nerf. Less squishy ATs were a different story. So see, it's not so cut and dry as you simply imply.
  9. Folks get to have differing opinions and their mileage may vary. It's good to see what folks are reporting even if we disagree with them. The initial beta version had numerous things that needed to be addressed, even though some folks gushed over it or said it was perfect. (which it was not) Question @ScarySai: Why is it okay to tell someone else to adapt their play style? This is the same as telling others how to play, isn't it? Regarding "knowing how to use cone attacks".. really that's very subjective. Full use of the 16 target cone is not easy for everyone. FYI - Jump/Cone does not always work. Some Tanker sets simply don't jump. Others can often be unable to jump at times.
  10. It’s a problem. Not everyone plays the same. Not everyone is focused on optimal attack chains. Sometimes the situation can change and folks might want to adjust accordingly. Going from a set that did not have a combo mechanic to one that does is a big change. Some folks don’t like having power selections dictated. That was a draw of the old EM set. The adjustment from EF>BS to EF>Barrage did help. Bone Smasher not being locked behind EF too often is better. Unfortunately, it also made that part of the combo mechanic very skippable for most ATs.
  11. We can also play what’s on live. That doesn’t make it any less terrible. The non Energy Focus ET is not good enough to try and suggest that EF>ET is skippable. see above I agree the fast ET (fET) with 10 sec recharge is too much (folks would learn the -hp has an impact). Removing the EF>fET and replacing it with fET all the time would also remove the 10 recharge. (still builds recharge plenty fast with it at the old 20 sec)
  12. These puns are just bread & butter. I relish what you all come up with next.
  13. 'Super Unknown' was spotted talking on the phone right next to a lady getting mugged with a Fallen Buckshot tugging at her purse.. [NPC] Super Unknown: My wife was telling me she bought this new purse the other day. When she told me the price I was like, why are purses so freaking expensive these days? [NPC] Fallen Buckshot: Mine now, lady! [NPC] Carmelia: You'll never get away with this! [NPC] Super Unknown: Well, time to get back to work. This cape isn't going to fly itself! [NPC] Blood Brother Chopper: This is good stuff.
  14. Even these guys know they gotta wear their masks and wash their hands
  15. New Energy Melee character.. Ruff
  16. This has been mentioned and hopefully it is being addressed. A new EF should not be prevented by the first (for all ATs). @Captain Powerhouse Could a stalker potentially have 4 EFs? I did not test for that. because they only get one and it's the lesser of the two.. I can see what your saying.
  17. oh geez, did page six get bumped into Issue 27? I was hoping: Page 6 is likely coming out soontm Issue 27 is only in beta. Page 6 Issue 27, Pgae 1
  18. @Hew, doesn't change what I said though. TK Thrust is a mag 8 perfect power for getting one target off a blaster. Trading that for a Mag 2 confuse that's only an 8 foot AoE toggle.. Something like Seeds of Confusion is mag 3, 50 foot radius cone.
