  1. Aha, TYVM Adeon! I had the idea in my head that the second AT sets were SCORE/Homecoming creations, and would therefore not be on the wiki. I appreciate you correcting me on that. /hat_tip
  2. Someone got the set bonuses for this handy? It's one of those things I always mean to look up when I'm away from my game PC but once I'm there, well, I actually start playing and forget. :)
  3. Save me a piece with the Rogue embl- Awww, C'MON! ;) j/k, and a big thanks
  4. I only remember two myself. The problem with "old DA" is that the game pretty much moved past the concept of street sweeping and Hazard Zones. The revamp at least gave a purpose back to the zone, and centered a story line there. Personally, I like the new DA arc. At least the original version of the zone is still there in Echo form.
  5. OK, that would explain it. The level 7 alt that raised the initial question for me, she's one I created right at the outset, but I haven't done too much with her until very recently.
  6. It's even less of a factor, a those can be gotten from drops, or bought via AE tickets, so your Inf cost for that is lower than you think.
  7. What does that mean, to recruit a new member into Ouroboros? Is that a story arc or something?
  8. I never knew I needed this until I read that post, now my life is a void.
  9. Quick refresher: it's got 5 charges, each charge gives about a half level's worth of Patrol XP. Do it early, to jump start yourself? Or hold onto it for later (like your 30s), when you might be in the doldrums and need a boost? Just looking for some opinions on this. Later, Generator
  10. Yeah now I really want to throw a Devoured at Jimmy Fallon.
  11. The badges needed are the ones linked in my second post. The contacts those badges unlock, I wouldn't expect to be in ParagonWiki, as they are a SCORE/Homecoming thing and the folks at ParagonWiki are keeping that as the game was back in the day.
  12. The equivalent contact for Heroes is unlocked via Villain Disruptor. He's in Steel Canyon, IIRC, in the parking lot in which the police van sits that is the mission door to Safeguards in Steel Canyon. I've seen him but haven't yet gotten the badge.
  13. Villain Disruptor is the badge for heroes, and its redside equivalent, Hero Slayer, for villains. Maybe you read that and got confused, thinking it wanted you to defeat PC Heroes and Villains?
  14. Thank goodness for that! I really appreciate the quick reply, have a good one.
  15. I'd like to raise the possibility you have your wires a little crossed here. The badge for this is the badge you get for defeating the heroes or villains from mayhems and safeguards. No PvP needed.
  16. Hey, Just like the subject line says. I think bio armor has some interesting looking powers, but the effects are ugly, asymmetrical, and totally obscure your costume the last I looked. Is there an option to not look like you just fell off the tumor truck? Later on, Generator

Aha! I forgot there's that set bonus KB protection. Thanks for replying.
  18. Because the alternative is an undifferentiated duplication of the same two or three builds endlessly. Here's an analogy I like to use to explain the concept ludologically. Another analogy is "If you like sushi, and you like chocolate, and you like beer, and you like pizza, you don't get the best food by putting all those things in a blender and drinking what comes out." Hell, isn't that why they put ATs into the game in the first place? I always heard that back in the game's Alpha development, chargen was all open, and eventually the One True Build emerged and it was all anyone played (funnily enough, my recollection of the OTB is that it was what we're now calling the Sentinel).

Looks good. What are you doing for KB Protection? (Assuming it's not there and I didn't miss it.)
  20. I always thought it was funny how the Malaise set bonuses were just the "kids table" version of what's in Coercive Persuasion. I think one of the reasons I always avoided the DMG proc in Malaise is I was worried the proc would "spoil" the doesn't-draw-aggro aspect of Confuse powers. Terrify, though, I think I'll consider the DMG proc for.
  21. Good to know. I don't think I did. IIRC, the rest of the "Master Plan" involved three pieces of Thunderstrike, I want to say A/D, D/E and A/D/E. I'm not gonna tell you I did that in anticipation of what you said, b/c this file is from 2012 and who the hell knows what I was thinking. :)
  22. "The glass is half full, and I am going to make that Hellion walk it over here. Then I will drink it, and crack said glass over his noggin." :)
  23. Hey, So I've just restarted one of my 3 main Dominators from back in the day, my Mind/Psi hero. I blew the dust off her old build and loaded it into Pine. Now, I know (or am under the impression) the PPM change was intended to smooth out a lot of questions like, "Should Proc piece [X] go in Power [Y] or Power [Z]?" That said, I had a decent number of sets on her that had procs, and I'm not sure if they're more or less useful than they used to be. Force Feedback's +Rchg, in Levitate (I had this one in the build, or at least planned on it, I may not have gotten to building it yet) Glimpse of the Abyss' Dmg proc Malaise's Illusions Dmg proc (I think I skipped on both of these, 1: because I could replace them with a straight Rchg IO for more effect, 2: because they wouldn't have gone off often enough to be useful) Are either of these two pieces worth reconsidering? Thanks, Generator
