  1. I love the color scheme as it ties into the cape, the sash, the gloves, the pistols...Well done!
  2. Pro side - bring on the new Badges. What fun is a collection if there is nothing left to collect. The more challenging, the more rewarding it is to get the badge
  3. I love the car under the tiles in the first screen shot. Made me laugh!
  4. Now I get it. I'm a +1 to adding Cimerora to the Praetorian Midnight Mansion. I've never played Gold-Side except through Orouborus
  5. I already agreed it could be better. But I sincerely like KB as-is. I think City of Heroes is great as-is. But don't mistake that either for thinking it couldn't be better, in lot's of ways. Please don't tell me I'm not allowed my opinion here. BTW - I love most of the suggestions in the post you linked. They would all make KB better in-game
  6. I love this suggestion as a way to tie up the new KR content. I'm always a little sad to run it, because it's left wide open, and then poor BAB gets the beat down, and you're done.
  7. You just quoted half the math. Using all 3 parts of pounding slugfest get's me a 48% boost (16% each one). Using only 2 +3 SO's get's me 76% (38% each one), plus an extra slot. So that is a clear under perform for me, since 2 SO's are both cheaper and use less slots than 3 set IO's. You'll still need to create you own math if you want to convince me that IO's have any significant value in the lower levels (again, pre level 22) over SO's. IO's are awesome, in their place and time, and SO's are awesome in their place and time. One doesn't have to be, and in fact is not, superior to the other in all situations.
  8. Super-heroic is in the eye of the beholder...Does KB feel super-heroic to me? Yes, it sincerely does. Could it be better? Could it feel more so? Of course it could. So could many things in the game, given enough time, imagination, and developers. Speaking of better... This is a great suggestion.
  9. See...marketeers are ebil. They are destroying influence as part of their master plot to take over the world!!!! Mua-ha-ha-ha!
  10. What does the $$local do? Aren't all emotes local to begin with?
  11. I’m confused. Wouldn't a higher level character from Praetoria know all about Primal earth? Why wouldn't they visit? That's like avoiding portal corp missions because ya’ know, I'm from primal earth.
  12. I was just on and tried to pay attention. When I logged on the fire alarm was clearing. Exactly an hour later, the fire alarm was clearing again. That suggests a one hour delay to me.
  13. I never presume the difficulty of a coding task, as I am often surprised at how easy and how hard somethings are compared to how easy/hard I think they should be. But I can presume the importance a change has (to me at least).
  14. There is certainly alot of "whataboutism" on this thread that I don't understand. If you don't like the changes, I understand that is frustrating. But marketeers didn't "do this" to the farmers. Marketeers haven't conspired to make this happen, and marketeers don't benefit from this change. Many of the Ebil marketeers are also farmers, and I'm sure some where using the "exploit" to farm Influence. Harming marketeers won't make your game more fun, or more fair. It'll just raise prices, and make the game less fun for more people. I guess, if that's your goal, continue to push for it, but I wouldn't expect a ton of sympathy from most folks.
  15. +1 for Halo's. That would be a cool concept for an angelic type character
  16. I'm a +1 to this idea. I imagine most players (not all) are single server players, or at least single preference players. Easy enough for someone to exit the character select screen and go back to server select. That said, this ranks pretty low on any list I would have of game fixes.
  17. You'll need to provide some math for this becuase I don't see it. For example- Punding Slugfest, a 3 part Melee Damage set IO @ lvl 20 gets me: 16% Acc, 16% End Red, 16% Recharge 16% Dam + 16% Dam + 16% Dam = 48% Damage While 2 Dam, 1 Acc +3 lvl SOs give me: 77% Dam, 38.3% Acc I don't get the End Red or Recharge Bonus, but if I am slotting for Damage @ lvl 20, just 2 SO's at +3 beat out a 3 part IO set.
  18. Also a plus one to that. The stamina ones are ridiculously hard to get
  19. I think I've been pretty clear in how I feel about the slippery slope you propose. The fallacy is the Y is going to happen if X does. And it's a pointless debate, even on it's merits, because requires a massive prognostication that neither of us are capable of. I can't prove a negative and say it absolutely won't happen, and likewise, you can't prove it will. So that just leaves us only focused on the value of X, not worrying about Y. However, I think this last statement is exactly that, focused on the here and now. And you express a great concern - how do we keep toggles in Null the Gull from getting confusing to players? I don't have an immediate answer to that, except that I personally don't think we are there yet. As for modding, it's a suggestion without value if it isn't any more practical than having the Dev's make the modification. I'd be all in favor of it in place of suggesting the Dev's make a modification, if it existed, but it seems like it doesn't at this point, which leaves Joe Enduser, like me, stuck with no options either way. Good back and forth @Naraka - you are well measured and well spoken. Pleasure debating with you!
  20. Can you expand on this thought? I'm not seeing the value in IO's before lvl 22, but it depends on your definition of lower levels
  21. It's still a slippery slope. If X happens, then Y is going to happen, is the format. If a player gets a Null the Gull option to turn off ally buff seizures (X), then imagine all requests ever for Null the Gull have to become options (Y). It's a fallacy, because there is no contract, social or otherwise that requires the Dev's to code in every Null the Gull request based on this one. The Dev's with the community assisting, can make judgments on each one individually (as has already been done). The mod point is a really good point that i have been overlooking. My apologies. Is there such a mod already out there? I wouldn't know where to start with Modding, not having done it before.
