Honestly I have ran through most the content dozens to hundreds of times depending on the content with the exception being the Dr. Aeon TF, I've only done 11 times, and for me the thing to do is theory craft new build combinations and roll them up, part of the reason I have 117 or so lvl 50s that I use. Then find a group of people to play with and be able to adapt to whatever they want to run because you'll have a toon for that.
  2. Personally I've laid out a number of potential Kheldian changes over the years. I think if we were to adjust the inherent, why not lean into the shape shifting, so the inherent changes based on what form you're in. Human form, grants a PBAoE buff based on team composition to the player and nearby teammates (30 feet?). Also Attacks have increased damage/tohit based on the rank of the mob (underling, minion, lieutenant, boss, elite boss, av, monster, giant monster). Nova form, increases damage done to targets based on their HP. Reverse Scourge, attacks do more to targets with more health (This makes for a good opening volley). Also Attacks have increased damage/tohit based on the rank of the mob (underling, minion, lieutenant, boss, elite boss, av, monster, giant monster). Dwarf form, I'd almost give them a fury bar, and once it hits stages 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90/100 is does scaling bonus energy or negative energy damage depending on if peacebringer or warshade. Let's the bar lower as combat ends. Also Attacks have increased damage/tohit based on the rank of the mob (underling, minion, lieutenant, boss, elite boss, av, monster, giant monster).
  3. I actually quite like the auto exempt option. Setting them up like a TF might not be perfect, but I understand why it is, so someone doesn't invite 7 people on the last mission to maximize merit gain. So if there was a way to float a variable that a player had been on the team for the whole arc, then award them the merits, otherwise they are getting xp/influence anyways being exempted down.
  4. I have no issue with this fundamentally speaking. My only thing I kept reservations about is that most low level npc groups do not appropriately level up to 50+. So if we could find a reasonable means of scaling enemies to make the content engaging to a lvl 50 or so character then by all means let's do this. I would imagine they would have to have lvl tiered enemies expanded in the npc groups like what happens with the Circle of Thorns to make such a request feasible.
  5. Using SO's only, and SR Tank. You'd have your defenses softcapped on SO's ++ for sure, and something like Rad Melee would work well. /Stone armor on a stalker is pretty awesome as well. I don't have experience using SO's only, but my IO'd version was tanking Bobcat and the Goliath War Walkers last night while the team fought Neuron. Yeah I know it was a really weird team composition a lot of them were underslotted and the invuln tank would only use hurl and then run away and use rest so I think he was high or something, so the fire tank tried to keep agro on the main target while I kept everything else reasonably busy (until the mastermind pets engaged the war walkers and got the team curb stomped).
  6. You have to organize a PvP related event. It's like making an iTrial, you don't just show up. You need to schedule it, and cultivate an event, and if you wanted to build it you could do it at regularly scheduled times. Add the people that participate to global, make a PvP related channel and have fun. Understand as a pvper you will not necessarily always be on the toon you want to be on, but more the toon you need to, as you your team might need an empathy, or cager. Also using discord to coordinate works well for calling targets and coordinating spikes. The biggest thing though about creating a PvP event is not that you win, it's that the event is fairly balanced, so if you're doing zone and there's 3 villains vs 12 heroes, it's not exactly balanced. Also know that soft targets will get attacked first, so they even more then others need to know how to move. If you can keep things fairly balanced you can introduce prizes and such to lure people in and they can and will have fun. If the balance shifts and one side is getting beat badly, you have to have people able to switch sides, either by null the gulling or having an alt ready, to maintain the balance. If you're event is out of balance it's likely to leave a bad impression with someone particularly so if they get absolutely destroyed. So it's also a good idea to have team leaders that are experienced in calling targets and coaching PvP techniques. Just a couple thoughts.

I checked it on my warshade nothing. then i swapped to a tank ran a tinpex and noticed the green slow rings on some war walkers. no warshades on the team. it seemed intermittent, but a couple of others on the team claimed to see them as well. Is there anything else in the game that recycles that vfx? or did somehow a patch moved it to something else by accident?
  8. I've learned over the years that you do you and what works for some might not work for all. I have a friend that actually plays with no UI, others that keep their UI sorted in all sorts of ways. So if it works for you don't fix what isn't broken, but otherwise experiment a bit and see if a different style feels better.

  11. Grass is Greener/Meaner (I was a pvper and kind of a dick when I was younger), Devilfish was an old member of our guild but quit back around 2006-2007 or so.
  12. You may or may not have seen them, but they have seen you. The devs from live surely played incognito in the game (I actually think there may of been one in my guild, given that there's a badge named after my actual game handle and another badge named after a former guildmate, and that Regen got nerfed literally 7 hours after I solo'd 4 mitos with my spines/Regen scrapper back in the era of toggle IH and Perma MoG), just as the dev team here lurks within your friends list and supergroups.

I work deal with a lot of home owners, builders, developers, lawyers, etc. I typically give out a generic extension that gets routed to our team before and they can transfer to me if it's something that they can't answer or that I'm actively working on. I give out my actual extension very rarely, usually only to people that I need to directly reach out to for a project that has pretty high salience. If I gave my extension to everyone, I'd never be able to get any work done, and there would just be more phone calls wondering why shit isn't done.
  15. I could definitely get behind reducing the animation time of thunder strike myself. I had figured even with the the animation time it was still better than Jacob's Ladder so that's why I worked in the idea of using static charges to expand the size of the angle and depth of the cone so that it could more reliably hit more than 1-2 targets at a time.
  16. You can drag that power and put it in your other trays and then talk to null the gull in pocket D to disable the extra tray.

Their power is so immense that is why GM Bot must remain in Galaxy City away from anyone else for fear that even other GM's in The presence of GM Bot are likely incinerated just by zoning into Galaxy City. @Cipheris our resident statistician. @Jimmy is light bringer that brought 2x XP @The Curator really likes listening to The Cure and also archiving updates. Those are just a few entries that you can add to the list.
  19. I think you're exactly on point with this statement. Otherwise I was thinking about this thread last night playing my Elec Melee Tanker and it got me thinking, what about Electric Control as well, so I played my Elec/Cold Troller in a few missions, then I thought about Electric Assault as well from Dominators, even Electric Armor. I think it would be logical to treat any electric set to utilize a shocked mechanic, and probably some degree or Static Charges so I'm going to give the rest of the Electric Powersets some more thought how they could be tied in to this within reason (I personally think Elec Armor is pretty strong overall, so I think it would be great to give it some flavor but without really proposing much to it).
  20. Hasten to my memory has had a small end crash since circa i1. I vaguely remember it in the days or Perma Unstoppable/Perma MoG. 15 end though is the cost of 1 big attack, so it's not an unmanageable crash. The idea was that using hasten would wear you out from attacking more often, so I'm pretty sure it was by design from probably power implementation. But like I said my memory is a little hazy.

  22. Former northerner, from MN, and maybe I'm an outlier but if I didn't answer my grandma with yes ma'am or no ma'am I was rolling the dice whether I would be picking a switch. Otherwise also was US Army, and now live in the south so ma'am and sir are common place. My wife however still thinks being called ma'am is a sign of disrespect because she thinks it's reserved for old people, and she works in higher Ed. I jokingly told her that to her students she is old as she's 150% of their age. She didn't like that too much, and I had to go pick a switch.
  23. You could use /powexec_location cursor power_name and use your cursor to point at the targeted area. This saves a confirmation click of the mouse as you won't have the target location white rings appear. That should avoid spawning things under the ground as well.
