  1. We used to farm with fire/kins before IOs existed. I would suggest firing up mids and taking a stab at your own build, then asking for feedback. It's easier to catch fish when using bait. I would also check those mob types on brainstorm to see if the incoming damage types have changed and build from there, as I think that change is likely to get pushed to the actual servers.
  2. I could see some people having use of it as I pretty much already do this with my badge.
  3. I've always thought that rewards should be based on risk, so reward merits should scale based on higher difficulty levels played. I don't really see why the need to remove the conversion of emp/astral to reward merits though as you've already removed AE farming's ability to get them in AE. Why not allow someone to convert to a reward merit if they'd rather use those to buy an IO, recipe, booster, etc. Excuse the pun, but It seems like a change without merit.
  4. I'll have a look at this when I get home. I do have a fire/energy domi toon built out stashed somewhere in my cadre of toons. Rule of thumb for domis, make sure you have permadom then build towards some degree of defenses based on your play style.
  5. Brute. You'll have damage resistance caps at 90% on a Brute vs 75% on a scrapper. Fury to help compensate for no crits, and you can still proc bomb a number of powers.
  6. You have three long recharging PBAoE buffs so you'll want to get a relatively high amount of recharge in the build. You can also build to for some pretty reasonable levels of resistance as well, and use bonuses for defenses) recharge. On nature you can get by without Rebirth, and possibly Entangling Aura since this is a corruptor (Entangling Aura works really good for controllers stacking with other holds). On Fire Blast you can skip fire breath, and probably flares as you'll have a full enough chain without it.
  7. With powexec_location you can fire any targeted location based power without line of sight subject to range, so you can shoot them around the corner.
  8. TA is probably my fav debuffing set in the game. Hell I might be crazy but I even played it on live before the changes to it here. try a Fire/TA/Dark Corruptor. Glue everything down, pop Souldrain, debuffs, OSA and rain down brimstone.
  9. Ultimately play it how you want. I typically split between Degen or Reactive, with maybe 2 or 3 exceptions for Diamagnetic out of my catalog of toons.
  10. Poison on a corruptor can get up to -60% damage, and up to -32.5% tohit buff before factoring in anything like a Powerboost or Clarion Radial. So while they may not be innate resistance and defense, they act the same in functionality. Yes some mobs will resist the effects to a degree, but we're talking about building out a toon on IOs to supplement the effects of it's power. Additionally yes Venomous Gas is a toggle, 95% of anyone running offensive based toggles that have anywhere near as much effectiveness as Venomous Gas are running Clarion, otherwise you can also use Rune to supplement when Clarion Radial is on CD. And yes you can build a fire/em blaster to do well also, along with any other powerset or at, but we're talking about Poison Corruptors here.
  11. No build for it, but fundamentally it should be a solid choice as you'll build for your typed defenses, and slowing the movement/recharge of mobs while sapping them. Elec melee is a little meh on a scrapper though, I personally think it works better on a tanker or a stalker as on the tanker.
  12. I have 2 poison toons one a defender and the other a corruptor that have no issues in melee even against an AV. They just need to be built for it.
  13. Why suppress pool power toggles while a Kheldian is shape shifted? I don't see how having combat jumping, maneuvers, weave, tactics, and assault running while shape shifted would be game breaking. Otherwise I like what the other aspects of suppression; maybe with the one other reservation regarding 8 seconds, as popping a break free and reactivating a toggle is quicker than that. Maybe some kind of compromise to 3-5 seconds? Thanks. Still hopefully for further Kheldian changes down the road, and well more Kheldian content in general.
  14. Personally I only typically play a set that has ally only dependant buffs on ATs that have a pet or pets that I can use said ally only buffs on. That said I personally wouldn't play the set on a Defender. I do really like pairing it with one of my Gravity controllers however it seems to fit thematically. If you did have to play it on a Defender, I'd probably pair it with Dark Blast and go all in with the THDB so that even though your padding your team's resistance, you'll be also reducing the frequency that they get hit. If not dark possibly Psi as you can get some pretty good -recharge debuffs applied with your attacks reducing the frequency of incoming attacks as well.
  15. I use Brutes if I want to build a scrapper that uses a resistance based armor set since they have significantly higher resistance caps, and a high fury generating primary. If I want a tank I'm typically maximizing survival and working on some proc slotting.
  16. They are a lot better now than they were say back in i6 when they launched and they can be built to be fine on SOs alone in comparison to any other toon on SOs alone. That said when you actually start investing in IOs, those particular two IOs are IMO the 2nd Best ATO procs in the game after the Tanker ATO procs. You're able to get rid of placate and drop back into hide during fights for guaranteed critical hits, and due to the other you can get tons of uptime out of buildup.
  17. You really want to get at least the 2 Stalker ATO Procs. They are pretty game changing for stalkers. When you get them higher level and built out, they can be really sturdy, so ambushes are essentially free xp/inf that finds you.
  18. @The Caretakeris doing my grinding. Delivery of badge expected with 1 day Amazon Prime Day shipping.
  19. SeraphimKensai

    Too strong

That's a base what 90 second recharge rate, so the build definitely has to have some global recharge reduction (perhaps aegis as well) to get it around 23 second recharge I'd imagine.
  20. A range enhancement would not increase the radius on a PBAoE. I wish they would but they don't. The 8-foot range on WoC is pretty substandard and the mag/duration is pretty meh. Even on other AT's version of the power, it is pretty bad. As previously said it's decent for being a set mule.
  21. Works well enough.
  22. I'd replace beanbag with an Aim variant called Reload that gives your AR powers 50% reduced recharge while under the effects of Reload, standardize the arcs on all the cones to be 45°, increase the damage on the M30 grenade, and make it so Full Auto would have a 100% recharge reduction while under Reload. Perhaps using Full Auto under Reload costs more endurance?
  23. The solution is to have rewards scale with difficulty. If some of us have endless supplies of influence already, then doing a tf that nets 20 reward merits at +0 or -1, that takes say 20 minutes to complete vs a +4 version which nets 20 merits that takes 1 hour to complete it seems like a waste of time unless the player is specifically trying various challenges. So perhaps having reward merits or recipe drop rates scale higher the more difficult the setting would be cause for consideration for some of us efficiency experts.
  24. This would require some adapting to a stalker, but the linked build is a pvp spines/Regen scrapper from Xhiggy's spreadsheet: http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/download.php?uc=1504&c=694&a=1388&f=HEX&dc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
  25. I find Synapse TFs go faster if I quasi solo them (all three of my accounts with either dps or debuffs for Babbage and the King), I play the majority of the tf solo and then log in the alt accounts when it's merit payday to maximize my reward merit haul. Due to the increased reward for myself, I'm more likely to do it that way rather then having mixed results with pugging (although I still run quite a few pug groups).
