having played it a lot now on 4 different ATs, in total it is a moderate buff, not an enormous one. Feels very good.

The devs have solved the challenge problem by creating more challenging content, and I assume they will continue to do so. This issue is settled to my satisfaction.

Aura of confusion is a modified mass confuse, not a modified world of confusion, afaik.

There is no bug. It’s in the wrong forum.

This is a bad reason, though. Confuse powers INCREASE your XP/Time as long as you do a fair chunk of damage to the mobs.

That was changed in the most recent major patch which also changed it in some other ways, so you should probably read up on that

I kinda like it, but I also feel like Placate should just WORK LIKE THAT without having to spend our stacks of Focus on it.

Toxic Defense wasn't actually a thing until very, very recently. So that is all but Psi. Or was.

Like you pointed out, there are a few different bugs, but one of the things I'm seeing isn't really a bug, just an unfortunate feature I think. I placate two Longbow, but because I don't time it just PERFECTLY one them fires and hits me, which takes me out of stealth, my Aura becomes unsuppressed, and the placate is ruined. There should be a period of a few seconds after using Placate that a Stalker CANNOT be unstealthed by the same mobs that were just placated. It's just grossly unfair.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, my understanding is that Tanker attacks also usually have higher target caps and that INCLUDES attacks that are exempted from arc/radius changes.

Like, I literally walked right up to Cortex and clicked him and never had any clue that if I just turned 90 degrees I might've seen Doc Vaz. Seems like it ought to be a fairly easy fix, and it definitely deserves it because OTHER than that this arc was fantastic!

While doing the mission Free Bile From The Zig, I was unable to get any progress on the Where is Cortex? objective. Although I saw Cortex, clicking on him did nothing. I completed the mission by leading Bile out, with the Cortex objective still showing.

Frankly, I think it is likely that what I am seeing is that Stalkers with Aura powers are penalized by having their Placates and Stalker's Guile be far more fragile.

I guess I'm wondering how does Stealth Suppression and Hide work in regards to being attacked or being hit, because I Think I'm just timing my placates badly or something. It would be really nice if the power were a little more robust in its effect. It should erase me from the knowledge of the guys it hits regardless of what happens over the next couple seconds unless I purposely attack again, but it does not always.

Yea, “every” character is not necessary literal, for sure.

It means that specific power doesn't get the buff. There may be other powers in the set that do. Also, keep in mind that it's not JUST the Arc and Radius that may change but also the Maximum number of Targets.

I have NOT figured out the problem. SOMETIMES it works, SOMETIMES it doesn't. SOMETIMES it makes AS slow after using it, SOMETIMES it doesn't. The behavior of Placate, at least on my Dark Melee/Ice Armor Stalker, seems to be rather unpredictable.
