Make sure you're running the latest mids and go to Options, Configuration and size controls, etc is right there.

Get Fold Space noob.

nature/water defender and never look back. Hands down one of the best defenders ever. Nigh unkillable and has a great mix of buffs (for you and the team) and debuffs (-regen, -res, -tohit and -dmg) and you have 2 heals, 3 if you also taking lifegiving spores. With the buffs you get decent resists, heal over time and end discount and you can also achieve melee and ranged softcapepd defenses with set bonuses. Look at these stats! I'm sure you can choose whatever attack set you want but I chose water and don't regret it one bit. Regards, Dave

A glass cannon blaster. No investment in defenses or resists. All recharge, damage and procs. This way you'll have a heavy reliance on inspirations, strategy/pulling or outside buffs. My favorite version of this is my ice/plant blaster but you can make a glass cannon out of any toon. Aside from that, checkout some of Myshkin's mad king builds. He has a really good one for an ss/rad brute who does extremely high damage but if he/she is in a mob for too long a time, they'll get cut down.

Players say the darndest things. I say "boo" when others level. I say "thanks, I deserve it" if people acknowledge my level up. I say "that's not nice, bad guys" if I happen to get defeated. I also say inappropriate (or complementary) things at times and immediately follow it up with "typo". Regards, Dave

OSA is definitely worth taking. You don't see it? If you don't see it then you have an old version of mids. You can slot any power whatever way you want. Mine is slotted as per the build I shared.

An SR tank is fun (any SR really) because of the extremely high defense debuff resistance (DDR). 95% for a tank I think. So if you're built for at least 5% over softcap for your positional defenses, the Cimerorans (as an example) can't take you out. There's no cascading failure. It's pretty sweet. Numbers for Brutes, Scraps and Stalks are slightly different. To test it out I sat in a large group of +4 Cimerorans while I was in a meeting. My health didn't drop below 25%. For non-S/L where his resists may not be as high, if he gets hit he takes a wallop but for standard trash mobs and such, it's fun. Regards, Dave

I did that build a while ago then did the new version of it. I named him Mini Rambo. Oh Shoot will have to be another AR, DP or BR. I don't want to rename Mini Rambo. I have a BR/TA named Major Disapointment and a DP/Nin called Hamburger Jones. I could rename Hamburger Jones I guess. Archery may be it though. I haven't done an archery toon yet. Regards, Dave

I was on that ITF on my tank. He never said speed when advertising and I never saw it in chat but as you said it was cleared up in the second mish. Seeing half the team down during the second mission made me SMH but it was good enough for government work. It didn't affect the rest of the team's ability to mow down the crystals. I sent the emp a whisper after because he said he's never running it again. I told him it's not bad, it was just a poorly led team. Not sure if I changed his mind on that. I prefer playing hard content with toons created on that day or a day or two prior who have no set bonuses. It’s likely they have nothing slotted and it’s my favorite part. I was teamed with a dark/dark defender the other day who was vet level 152 who was only using Howling Twilight for rezzing. I suggested that it can be used offensively. He didn’t take kindly to that suggestion. Point being that even someone with 152 vet levels can be a nubcake. I posted about paperweights some time ago and it was met with less than favorable responses, but it’s still something that grinds my gears because they contribute next to nothing. Regards, Dave

Just picked up the toon name "Oh Shoot". Thinking of AR/nrg blast, powerboost, snipe, hover, maybe LRM. He gets detected, he runs and hides, maybe phases or misdirects. Every time he's detected or takes a defeat, he throws out his battlecry: "Motherf@#$!", I mean "Oh shoot!" Probably ineffective but it brought me here to ask the question. ... but it’s called atomic. I might as well be called dumbo because I have big ears. Anyway, with regards to hover farming and the poster’s recollection of water/rad, I’d fancy a guess that it was a corruptor. However several combos could work. BR/TA, Fire/TA blasters, etc. GLHF

Blasters can’t. Sentinels stink so I don’t even consider their existence.

I made this. Super fun but needs ageless to enjoy. I already had an ice/psi/ice so I made it an ice/psi/psi instead and followed this model. Enjoying it. Appreciate the build and the thought put into it. Regards, Dave

Fire/Atomic

Graphs, neat! I don't have alts, I have a lot of 50 built out toons with winters, purples and ATOs as needed. Some of the early ones I need to remake. I find a combo, do a build or find one that looks very nice on the forum and get it to 50 in about 2.5 hours. I have 76 level 50s now. All accoladed as well with the 4 stat boosting accolades and demonic aura. I went back and accoladed my toons after I had 65 or so and decided I'd dip my toes in it. Took me a couple of months to get it done. I do not recommend accolading after the fact but I'm happy now that it's done. I'm thinking about taking one of my toons, attune him and run through all of the blue and redside arcs through Ouro. TLDR; 0 alts, just a shitload of 50s.
