  1. I assume you are having an issue with Trapdoor himself as the rest is Council, and they should be easy enough with using Psy damage although they do have non-humans so those could be an issue. I would make sure to sprinkle in various procs which do non-psy damage for when you want to solo. Another thing would be using Arcane Bolt and/or the vet attack powers as even at that diff setting they should be effective. Psy damage is either fantastic or practically rubbish. It is why if I would to ever play a Psy based character I would have it have a secondary damage set which wasn't Psy or just team a lot.
  2. This also doesn't factor in things like going Sorcery pool to get Rune of Protection which gives roughly 20% Res as a base and the Might of the Tanker proc which does similar when stacked. Sure, RoP is a click, and its recharge can't be lowered, but we are talking about adding even more mitigation in cased you need it. Unleash Potential also would be an option as it offers +Regen and +Recovery. Those are two things a Shield user would welcome.
  3. I get the Wards being a fill in. I would still like more though. Gold side feels like something the devs started but never finished.
  4. I haven't looked at using Elude on two /sr Scrappers I have. I don't see using it on the sturdier ATs either. My thing was adding in Rune of Protection. It's roughly 20% increase for Res as a base. You stick that on a SR Tanker with the Might of the Tanker proc, rotating in Hybrid Melee, and that's a really difficult Tanker to take down.
  5. As someone who builds it more on the conventional side, I don't really spam Power Drain. I just find the experiment of building it in such a different way than I would helpful as it gives me ideas. I'll likely try to put various builds on test and play around with something like this, but with different ATs as well.
  6. I have a Dark/sr Scrapper for covering another run through red side. Even at a low level I am seeing new stuff. I had some characters going through blue side, and it is interesting to think about how much of a Band-Aid radio missions are for content. There are blue side contacts without arcs. There's at least one which is virtually nothing but timed missions or another which is practically all hunts. This says nothing about how much of these missions are in other zones. Instead of fixing contacts they created radio missions so those old contacts are essentially never really run unless you intentionally or accidently do so. Radio missions didn't add content. It killed a bunch of it. There's so much content which could be added if nothing else was done than to further incorporate hazard zones which seem to be only used for specific content or finding ways to add in content related to the Echo zones. I concede it is likely a lost cause, but adding post Level 20 content to Gold side could be interesting.
  7. Its funny because I am still going around exploring new-to-me content that has been around for a long time, and haven't really felt like I needed an update outside of powersets getting fixed.
  8. They did it for DB, Kin, and Savage as well. I'm just saying that tends to be the move in this scenario.
  9. For no real reason, I feel like one of the most pressing issues I have seen while playing CoH is getting Kin Melee fixed, so I just hope that's in there somewhere.
  10. In the list of crimes Stalker Claws has, changing FU isn't the worst.
  11. Forcing the vomit emote.
  12. Make the color purple since that's the color of BFs, etc.
  13. They can change it to BU like Stalkers get.
  14. So is the Server Status page.
  15. I think it has been the only server down for a couple of hours.
  16. It is if they know what they are doing. 😉
  17. I don't think I have ever pulled a bid without waiting for the server to process the request. I intentionally bid low for the vast majority of the time, and I'm willing to wait to check back later that day if not the next day or so. Lets run with the server idea anyway. Uncommon salvage has spiked in the past 3-4 months. Has the player base increased so much during that time in order to put that much of a strain on the servers? Considering the Scrapper forum at one point was one of the busiest forums on the site and now can go a week without a post, I don't think we are seeking a genuine enough spike in those playing to really be able to say that the servers are causing the spike in pricing. Based on peak numbers for players, CPU usage would be around 14%.
  18. Damage doesn't cancel fear. It merely gives them a single attack to respond and then they go back to their feared state.
  19. One time I went and saw a few recipes for an often not used debuff set and there were zero bids, so I on a whim put in a bid of 1. I instantly got it.
  20. End game, Dark struggles with Energy damage. You have to think of it more like a controller meets melee. Dark/dark is more so. Outside of Dark, Claws would be an easy sub in as it is end friendly and has fast enough recharge to where you don't need to add much. You also get two powers with 100% KD/KB. Outside of Claws, anything which stuns so it can stack with the aura. The heal is essentially best in game, but before IOs the end cost was incredibly unkind. Now, you stick a Chance for +End in it and you are practically good to go.
  21. CoD seems a bit confusing in it as there are two checks for a hold. One is 2% and the other is 3%. So even if combined, that's why you are seeing such a low chance for the default hold to kick in.
  22. More of a hybrid similar to a Fort, but with different sets.
  23. Actually down to 40. I honestly can't recall the first of three I got rid of so there's that. Axed DB/sr since I have three /sr characters already. One being Claws and I just find leveling and the experience smoother overall with Claws. I axed a Claws/nin simply because I already have at least 5 other Claws builds not counting my Fort.
  24. I know Dark has a damage aura, but Rad will pump out more damage. This can be important for when BS is more resisted, see DE. BS/BA are slower attacking sets. The fact that Rad offers +Recharge will help speed up your attacks by a default. You can also one slot Beta Decay with a -Res proc. I'm not saying Dark is bad. I just don't really see synergy between the sets which isn't also covered by using Rad, and Rad does offer benefits to BS. If you ever do want to do BA, I say go BA/ea Scrapper. Crits help with BA being resisted, but it does a truckload of damage anyway. BA begs for +Recharge and the end to pull it off. EA covers those. EA also doesn't need something like Parry so you might as well add in a better DPA attack.
  25. It could be, but after I took a recent break and came back, I wasn't exactly excited to see I would likely be better off doing a respect for build that would still farm slower and not gain as much XP.
