  1. Just so you all know, the picture on the left in my previous post was taken when the game was live. that was his third costume slot. And he'd had that costume since, 2005, I believe. I was never once notified that I was violating any IPs with that character. Yes, the colors and pattern were similar to Green Lantern. However, it is obvious that I wasn't trying for an exact copy. Can't really, since there isn't a lantern symbol in the selection of chest pieces. Even if there were, I wouldn't use it. As much as I like Green Lantern, I wouldn't want to blatantly copy him for this game. And Emerald Radiance isn't a green space cop for sector 2814. He's just a dude that can do things with energy. The picture on the right is from the current incarnation of CoH:H.
  2. Would Emerald Radiance be considered in bad taste? I'm sure you can tell who he was based off of.
  3. you are tempting me to make Arachnoid Person.
  4. It procs per mob in the target area. I use it in Stalagmites epic pool power on my Brute as a Pseudo-heal. Since she has no actual heals in her primary or secondary sets. It works pretty well. I tend to save that particular enhancement for AoE sleeps because of that.
  5. I have an answer for that. Unslot the entire team's incarnate slots. Remove the benefits of the Incarnate slots and the content would be more challenging. Then, run an incarnate mission or 12. Better yet, try a few iTrials (Tinman) without the use of the incarnate abilities. That should be challenging enough for anyone.
  6. They wouldn't be getting Speed Boost though. They'd be getting Siphon Speed. 😁
  7. Yeah, I had a slight hiccup with my internet connect at the time I was posting this. Fixed.
  8. I know it's been a while, just wanted to update this. The PB contact will start you out at the beginning of the entire story with the first story arc and run you through every arc afterwards in order. You won't miss anything if you start the PB contacts arcs at level 50. Of course, some of the mobs might be a little low in levels...
  9. If I'm not mistaken, the purple enhancements already act like attuned enhancements. At least the bonuses will stay with you, if not the enhancement values (scaled, I think) And, yes, the attuned enhancement will scale up to the max level of the set.
  10. Warshades have a variety of power effects as well.
  11. Only for teams where the tank is stupid about herding into open areas. A minuscule amount of forethought concerning the tanks herding location will alleviate 95% of the downsides of KB.
  12. That would have been the first place I went. 🙂
  13. They still do that. The just auto-summon once in the mission.
  14. I could go find her on the internet and invite her over for some thread derailing, if you want... 😁
  15. This is where I'm going to ask for a little more context. Were you (or whoever was herding) playing right? What I mean by that is, were the mobs being herded to the middle of an open area, or were they being herded to near a wall or other obstacle that the person using KB could use to mitigate the distance the mobs were being thrown? The reason I ask this is because I have a FF / Energy Defender. And the people that I team with regularly, know to herd the mobs near walls. because every attack in both sets has KB. Its the same with Storm/energy. the only way to tone down the KB is to not attack. For some reason, people on PuGs tend to get upset when someon doesn't do anything in the mission.
  16. I miss the cult of UniqueDragon...
  17. Illusion/FF can tank very well, with or without PA. KB and a nice corner are all you need.
  18. Tequila was downloading some HC.*, updating something. Probably one of the betas. I double clicked the 64bit client. The game loaded and Tequila kept right on downloading. Honestly, I was surprised I wasn't lagging or anything in game while that was going on. Seeing as I'm using my cell phone as a hot spot to get internet.
  19. The only time I tend to get irritated with the way other people play, is when they repeatedly knock my target away from me when I'm playing on my Melee characters. But, I think that's a universal irritation.
  20. I have noticed that, after a few missions, my inspiration tray will suddenly jump to the middle of the screen when I enter a mission. It only seems to happen if I have the tray along the bottom edge of the screen. If I have it at the top edge, it seems to stay there. Haven't noticed then change to a different Inspiration when I try to give them to someone else though.
  21. Pets do get buffed from Tactics...
  22. You will, I believe by level 22 or 24 at the latest, have to take a pool power. By the time you reach 50, you'll have had to take 6, at least, pool powers. I have had some character builds that none of the pool powers really work with, for thematic reasons.
  23. In effect, a Respec will allow you to re-level your character. In so doing, you'll be able to make different power and slotting choices
  24. In my experience, White Dwarf Flare is Knockdown and not Knockback. Or, to put it technically, it's a <1 mag Knockback. The Human and Nova forms are higher mag knockbacks though. And I do agree that, at least, the human form melee/ PBAoE attacks with Knockback should be <1 mag. With the possible exception of Dawn Strike, for thematic reasons. Seeing as they are counter productive for the PB. Although, I've been able to beneficially reposition enemies with the KB from those (human form melee and PBAoE) powers on occasion. But, that is an instance that is not very common in most combats on a team. I do not, however, think the Nova form KB powers need their KB mag reduced to <1. basically, if it's ranged, keep it as is, if it's Melee, make it KD. that is about the only change I see that is reasonable and thematic.
