  1. IMDB.com for one, though I believe they've rotated the F&WS trailers far down the list by now. The "Marvel Entertainment" YouTube channel is another spot, or just type in whatever MCU show you're hunting and add "trailer". There's bound to be a YouTube channel carrying it (assuming it even exists yet).
  2. I'm not sure enhancements have a starter tutorial. You get a bit of one with the crafted enhancements at the Steel Canyon university down the line, but a shiny new user will be offered dual and now single origin enhancements at the starter vendors almost immediately, and it might help that they understand both of them as well as the origin variables, so that they don't buy mutant origins and pass them by mail to their tech alt, or to their equally shiny new buddy in a tech avatar. I'd also think a tutorial laying out exactly what items a new character should acquire from a P2W vendor would help. While the P2W vendor makes a few comments, their more along the lines of a sales pitch to use the service, rather than a good introduction as to what would benefit a new player, and seeing as the vendor has quite a list of goods, I can see it as confusing or overwhelming.
  3. Quite possibly. Just don't expect anyone with claws hanging around. 😉
  4. Usually, once a week, I'll hunt COH on YouTube and filter by "within the last week". I'll watch COH videos that way, which I presume are with the other COH efforts out there, though I do occasionally stumble across one which clearly violates Homecoming's posting policy. I find them mildly entertaining, or often frustrating as I watch some that should be a well-oiled machine by now stumble along well into their 20s. I sometimes get inspiration or a new tactic from watching these.
  5. See, this is why I normally am not a Superman fan (though I am liking the "Superman and Lois" TV series). The comic book writers just come up with whatever they want as a power. No restraint. I mentioned it elsewhere, but they even gave him "super ventriloquism" at one point. As to the Kryptonian cloth, that makes more sense. And yes, I did see a description of his cape being made from the cloth that wrapped him as an infant. However, ever since (at least) Christopher Reeves donned the cape and tights, we've understood that a significant portion of Kryptonian technology travelled with Kal El, usually via some advanced crystalline tech that can replicate and construct. So it make sense he'd be able to construct suits from it's "toolbox", especially at the Fortress. How it gives him hidable boots, however, is a mystery.
  6. My OP wasn't actually asking for removals, just people's thoughts on the topic. That said, Talos exit is to the hill next to the train station, so...close. There's also the matter that the Homecoming developers moved some of the base portals to more practical spots. Should an Ouro exit, as you phrase it, be in an awkward location, perhaps they can look into moving it as well.
  7. And for that matter, who is shoemaker to the heroes? While I can't speak to original versions of Superman, by Henry Cavill's era, the answer should be nano technology, not unlike Iron Man's Infinity War suit. Just have the Fortress making more nanos while you are away. That, or Supes is friends with Flash, so a suit ring is not beyond possibility. Can you imagine hopping up and down at super speed to try to get a boot on in a phone booth?
  8. Sounds like your dad learned from the school of Wimpy, Popeye's pal.
  9. Where does that drop you if you have to go to the hospital? I am one of those who loves the Ouroboros hospital for proximity to getting back in the fight ( and the inspiration vendor is not terribly far either).
  10. What was the original developers' thinking behind the specific selection of zones one can exit to from within Ouroboros via the front portal? Was it every updated as the game expanded? In your opinion, is the list good, or can it be improved?
  11. I was about to try clarifying, then realized I already had elsewhere in the forums. It might explain why I listed the oddball heroes of the JLA in comparison:
  12. Hey, if the Justice League can handle Plastic Man, Elongated Man, Booster Gold, The Question (first), Creeper, and even occasionally Ambush Bug, then a guy who likes embodying the costume, character, and ideals of old movie serial hero Commander Ray Gunn should have no problems fitting in. It's not cosplay if you can actually hero. 😉
  13. I can definitely see a pull effect, or view, being usable in multiple ways. 1.) I'm wondering if a grappling pull can be an option for traps powerset. 2.) whether 1 target or a cone effect, use it as an air attack, like a reverse gale. Summon the wind to blow targets towards you. Might work well for that "air bender" powerset folks sometimes ask for, otherwise might prove an option for storm powerset. Or, really crazy idea: part of a new 3rd column powerset: elemental - giving one power each from earth, wind, fire, water, gravity. 3.) Visually, I'd asked back on live if at least some ice powers could have an optional pull look, rather than push. The idea being that frozen damage happens because the super is just a massive heat sink, instantly pulling heat away from the target.
  14. Should be easy enough to explain away, perhaps with a bit of remodeling at the ends. There's several real world big city undergrounds that become elevateds, or at least above ground at some point.
  15. The wiki notes that the blueside counterpart is called Exorcised. However, when I look it up on the wiki, the page looks a mess. it looks like someone cut and pasted the Demonic badge info into the Exorcised instructions. The page also states both that it is for redside only and farther down says it is for blueside only. Can anyone clarify it, and hopefully what the actual instructions for bluesiders is?
  16. Actually, I'm towards that viewpoint as well. I always saw the character as ridiculously OP, especially when they started adding a ludicrous number powers to him. (I mean, in the comics he has super ventriloquism!) That said, I'd seen Tyler Hoechlin play him on the crossovers, and decided to give it a chance. Tyler and the writers have brought a fresh take (so far) on the character so far, which is far more about the family life and very "human" side of Clark Kent, who happens to wear the mantle of Superman, than it is about Kryptonian Kal El wearing the guise of mild mannered (unemployed) reporter Clark Kent. Although I can see a few ways this could quickly unravel into poor writing, so far, they're doing a great job. One of the compliments I'm often reading is: "this is a CW show?" Episode 5:
  17. Independence Port, southernmost mid point between the east/west war walls, -48.6 -0.0 3902.5
  18. I suspect this is where "Coalition" can be used. I've not really heard it mentioned in Homecoming, though I've had no need to look into it either. Link your SG (or your solo SG) to other SG's by mutual agreement and recruit via the Coalition channel. I believe this allows you to access their bases as well. True, you'll not be able to change SG names on the fly, but we've enough costume spaces that there's probably room for Coalition uniforms.
  19. Great! Something to check out.
  20. Yes, but did it happen in-game, or has the duality been there since the game began? I think that's what Andreah is suggesting, that once a game design is established, world changes don't work well.
  21. I was doing some street fighting for a badge in southern Independence Port when I stumbled on this scene. I cannot ever recall seeing it. I assume it is associated with someone's mission, but they weren't around that I could see. I spoke to what appeared to be the NPC lead and he said something about backing you up with whatever you found inside. I assumed that meant behind the doors issuing a roiling grey smoke or mist, but they were locked. Any clarification as to what this is associated with?
  22. Disney acquired Marvel 5 to 6 years before the Netflix shows came out. It's more like a combination of dropping viewership (season 3 started 57% less than season 2) and Disney's future plans for Disney Plus. And its a badly kept secret that Kevin Feige gave no support to the TV shows after a certain point, nor offered movie crossovers to their characters. So basically, they were hung out to dry.
  23. Second episode out. Did some watchin', did some readin'.
  24. Incarnate missions, trials, and task forces. Because so many of us have a parking lot full of incarnates just waiting to do something. Revitalization projects for under-utilized zones. Pretty self-explanatory reason. Reformation of current Task Forces and Trials. Get rid of all the dead wood and repetition, add exciting new content, and meter them well to fit within a reasonable time budget (assuming a skilled team, of course. a bad team can even take some short TF and turn it into a nightmare time sink).
