  1. Need me something that can control a large area, say, the entire village of Salamanca in Croatoa, and bend everyone to my will doing ridiculous stuff like making period piece comedy TV shows. Higher level powers should allow me to expand my area of control, and convert any Longbow nearby into Carnies. Since this would be a control set, I'd like pets similar to the Illusion power: summon a sidekick phantom from my character's past, and two lesser constructs with powers of their own. Please and thank you.
  2. If my humble Jack Kirby reference improves everyone's competitive results, I am deeply satisfied. Competitors or viewers, we all benefit from a gallery of great creativity. Besides, I've not posted yet, and I'm taking notes. 😉
  3. Never really did these, except for one time where I got dragged into one mission dazed and confused. I seem to remember not doing much as a team member, which beggars my question: are these designed with team play in mind or are they more solo stuff? I notice that I almost never hear calls for teammates to do these arcs.
  4. Otherwise known as What Would Jack Kirby Do?
  5. Sorry to hear a fellow emulator has fallen. What on earth would attract hackers to a low-population (presumably), greatly-outdated game? The rewards would seem minuscule compared to other targets. Too bad a situation like that couldn't be turned on its ear with law enforcement using the game as a hacker honeypot. Those that played Sanctuary: did they have any unique advancements that would benefit other emulators? Might be a silver lining legacy to come from it, if the others could agree on a share arrangement for anything unique.
  6. C.R. - are weapons permitted in the snapshots? Just wondering 'cause I can see how those can play into the theme this week.
  7. What difficulty level are these epic times set to?
  8. LOL, must be a blue moon. Yeah, I composed, posted, then looked up. DOH!
  9. 👆 What Cutter said above. Apparently I got here a wee bit late. 😉

  11. Just ask Nick Fury.
  12. I'm enjoying the creativity, and look forward to the outcome, but I'm going to skip participation in this one. My personal creativity failed me when I saw the color scheme. All I could think of was cheap, waxpaper-wrapped Halloween candy. Well, that or Reeses products. It...it may have something to do with this new sugar-free diet I'm on. Not sure.
  13. I shall have to consider this with CoH. My friends and I already do this at our occasional Halo game nights. Not owning an Xbox with which to practice, I am the least dangerous among them, and jokingly go by the name "Gandhi". Another uses the handle "A Small Child". The game obliges us with statements like "A Small Child killed Gandhi", or occasionally "Gandhi killed A Small Child".
  14. Ah, now I understand why the Tenth Doctor could snap his fingers and the Tardis opened.
  15. What happens at those levels, Troo? Does it just show advancement? or is there some reward? I'd have thought ever last corner of the Incarnate build window might be filled out by then.
  16. Might this fare better in the Suggestions forum? I do hear ya. It would be interesting to have a look that said "ghost" or "phased person". While that may be some time in coming, I'd note that some have achieved a similar effect using some of the various "fog" powers that offer a stealth or invisibility element to them.
  17. I agree with you, however, I would note that there's actually lore to support the idea that your character is constantly growing in power for millenia: the first Incarnate mission where you get to play that finally version of your character, undamageable and unstoppable by a host of the mightiest opponents. So I think the real answer...and as always this is pie-in-the-sky wishing at this point...is to have both. Allow progress, but slower, as keeping with the lore's idea of a very long time, and have a greater body of material in which Incarnates feel challenged.
  18. There's a few dual pistols where the colors matter. For example the retro-future space pistols with energy rings around them. Those color quite nicely.
  19. One thing he didn't cover was how popular the release of the catchy "...All Along" song was (deliberately vague title reference in case anyone hasn't seen it yet). He mentions the release, but not that it hit the top of the charts. Crazy.
  20. I was discussing some of that with a coworker today. Marvel, in both comics and animated works tends to go overboard, or without restraint, when they hit "phenomenal cosmic power" levels. To me, it feels like they don't understand the storytelling power of limitations and restraints. It's one of the reasons I enjoy Fantastic Four stories less than others: the FF stories tend to hit the cosmic power level far more than stories in the Marvel house. WandaVision came close, though I don't think it quite tipped the scale.
  21. Screen Rant's Pitch Meeting burned the midnight oil to turn out their Pitch Meeting for WandaVision a short time after the series conclusion. Their mocking of our collective fan theories is a hoot.
  22. Wow, I'd seen the scene, but somehow missed that line. Guess I thought it a throw-away. It doesn't really answer my question, but at least it tells me other "people" within the MCU storyline are asking the same question, and that someone high above has an answer.
  23. Thanks, everyone (so far)! That's far more in one spot than I've found anywhere else. If any others wish to contribute, I'm all ears.
  24. Well, it's really "pie in the sky" kind of wishing, but I'd be wishing all ignored and under-utilized zones would receive the "Faultline" treatment, in hopes that they become desirable locations to level again, preferably for incarnate-level activity.
