I'd bet this is due to endurance de-toggle before any kind of mez detoggling you.

Yeah, you pretty much want to focus on buffing yourself and the scrappers/brutes/blappers otherwise you end up hurting the teams overall effectiveness. And yes, play it fast and very aggressive. So its nice for the team, especially if you exemplar. It also gives some recharge and the ranged def bonus we need. You could take another hold and use basilisks gaze and then some other slotting changes to make up for the ranged def, but I think its best just to have it for the team. Just fire it off on someone when you refresh hasten and hope you can hit several people with it.

So, from looking at the numbers in mids it seems like concentrated strike is unnecessary, but you could construct a constant build up ST chain with it. For example build up>body blow>smashing blow>assassin's strike>concentrated strike>build up. Continuing that chain would have 2x build ups and the gaussian proc, that should beat out the more traditional chain. You'd need a lot of recharge to do it, but it can be done while proccing out AS. This should work, but I haven't tested it. Possible build:

I'd rather slot for capping your defenses. With your s/l resists with M/R def capped and your heals, you will be incredibly survivable. You'll still be able to cap your damage with soul drain overgrowth and aim.
-
Ok, so now I have to ask a possibly dumb question. Would it be better to use the partial core or partial radial hybrids instead for this pairing? By using one of those you get access to the dmg buff chance and the ppm proc and the ppm proc might be high enough to give you the best of both worlds. Have you considered this?
-
Animation time is directly connected to damage over time. Forgive me, when I said that fire blast had higher base dmg, I should have said that it has higher base dmg AND equal or better animation times leading to much higher dps. On top of all that, it also has the dots which scale with dmg and further increase the sets DPS performance, especially when paired with kinetics.
-
Yes. Without question, yes.
-
You can get the rogue power to placate too, a bit unnecessary, but it's an option.
-
Kinetics will make any set damaging on a corruptor, but no, radiation blast will not do anywhere near as much damage as fire. This is because fire's base dmg is higher and then all the dots are being increased to the damage cap as well. You can make a great character as a rad/kin, but it will mostly be due to slotting and the innate power of kinetics. Fire/kins are so popular for a reason. Kinetics also plays best in melee and therefore you need to find a way to get s/l softcapped def or melee def on top of ranged def. The problem with this is that it leaves very little room for procs, you can slot some, but by no means does it give you the room proc out a build. When you don't have to worry about survival so much, it allows you to focus much more on damage and good fulcrum shifts. Getting softcapped defense will result in more overall damage in harder difficulties. Personally, I think you will be happy with either radiation blast or fire, irradiate is a great power, but you may end up with fire envy.
-
Made an all around SM/DA stalker with softcapped s/l and high melee defense. Time was 2:50 with T3 musculature, T3 reactive, T4 ageless, T3 hybrid but it was not activated. I'll try again with T4 everything and activating the hybrid when I make them all. P.S. I could get a ton more ST dps by going Mu mastery, but I have endurance problems even with the ageless if I spec into Mu. Endurance issues might resolve once I get all the accolades and then I will check the Mu mastery route again. Build:
-
This is only true for the first 22.5 seconds of clarion and you start taking a lot more hits as it degrades. Then you will have no +tohit debuffs from clarion for 30 seconds while it recharges. You can change my build a bit to sacrifice some recharge and still fit in all the powers you want, while keeping ranged defense softcapped and melee softcapped with venomous gas without clarion.
-
Don't you guys want to live? With those def/res numbers all I see in your guys' future is a lot of pavement in harder content. I'd focus on softcapping defenses and shore up our damage with FF procs and the musculature alpha. This build is softcapped to range and then it will be softcapped to melee also as long as venomous gas is running (you only get about 60% of the debuff on +3s, but it will still be enough to softcap you here). Dehydrate should be enough to keep you healed, especially with almost capped s/l resistance. Hasten will be perma with 2-3 FF procs in 2 minutes (this will happen because it is in geyser and water burst). Poison trap and geyser are your big hitters and you have assault to help yourself and the team out even more. Does Assassin's strike use the long 3 second activation time or the 1 second activation time in proc calculations? Does it change the calculation based on when I use it (in combat or hidden)? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere and it would change my slotting for my SM/DA build I'm working on. Edit: also does rending flurry from savage melee use the 15 ft aoe or the 8 ft?

Use Agility core as musculature doesn't help brutes as much as stalkers and scrappers due to fury. Also use the ageless core destiny and all end problems should be solved.
-
Placate is bad, smoke flash is good, but only ninjas get it.
-
You can abuse the hide proc to have build up at all times unless you get very unlucky with it. build up> body blow > smashing blow > assassin's strike > concentrated strike > build up I think you'll actually have the gaussian proc for all these attacks too.
-
Yes, slotting a kb to kd IO with an FF proc will work to get you those FF procs and increase overall recharge. The problem is that hurricane is a knockback and a repel so the mobs are pushed away from the effect. It is far more useful to slot repel or whirlwind this way than hurricane unfortunately for this reason. Hurricane pushes mobs away, making things a little harder for your AoEs. 😞

What is the most recharge I can put in Savage leap before it affects proc chances?
-
Savage changes when you get savage leap, it is its defining power, but yes you can ignore the mechanic for the most part.
-
Savage/bio, the extra dmg on attacks from bio armor works incredibly well with savage.
-
No, the build was designed as a 50 build and so I didn't worry too much about endurance as you can always fix those with incarnates. The differences between brute and scrapper for this build would be small in terms of endurance usage, there are probably some different things you could do to make the slotting efficiency for a scrapper specifically better.
