  1. Simply put, I would like to change my game account name. Anyone know how to go about this? I see how to change the Forum name, just not so sure how to change the game account name.
  2. Just in case, here is the Datachunk. 3. When I first started playing the game, a friend of mine was talking shit about another friends of line. This was the first game I have played that had chat bubbles. So when he would send me tells about my other friend, I was paranoid as hell that my other friend would see his chat bubbles. We were all on the same team together, and I thought that if I could see them, so could he. I was scared they were going to end up in to it, having no idea that he couldn't see the chat bubbles because it was in tells. It took me awhile to figure out that nobody seen those bubbles but me, lol.
  4. To be more specific, it's working as intended. The idea for it is so that PBAoE Toggles don't hit you while you are in a delicate situation of that crucial interrupt time it takes for you to fire off your Assassin Strike. You lose that as soon as you attack or are hit. It has worked this way since day one.
  5. Yeah, I can see your point there.
  6. I would rather see it work more like Dull Pain. As it stands now I skip it. It increases Max Hit Point, but that's it. If it was also a heal, it would be far more useful and I would actually pick it up and incorporate it in to my build.
  7. Not laughing at you, but with you. Good point. 😄
  8. It's not supposed to work that way. That is a bug. See above.
  9. I have brought this up sooooo many times in the past, even on live. Nobody seemed to care but me so I gave up the good fight. I am soooo glad other people besides myself are noticing this now. Placate Bugs that I have noticed over the years. 1: Placate is null if target has debuff or tics of damage from previous attacks. The original Devs were aware of this but it was never fixed. 2: Once the use of +Perception IOs came out, Placate was supposed to put you back in to hide, not this silly pseudo Hide. That was never fixed. Castle was considering putting Placate back to its original state. Placate was originally a Single Target Placate, but it put you back in to full hide, thus giving it the illusion that it was an AoE Placate. It should be reverted back to what it originally was, since the nerf that it was given is no longer needed. 3: Placate will sometimes allow you to use the Long Version of Assassin's Strike, other times your Assassin's Strike doesn't get the message that you had just used Placate and Fast Activates anyway, leaving you with the undesired Damage you were hoping for. Edit: I think this has something to do with the Pseudo Hide instead of full Hide. If I were a Dev, I would start looking there for the culprit of what is causing the bug. 4: Placate is supposed to suppress all Offensive Toggles. Some Toggles it works for, some Toggles it does not work for. Number Two and Three are my biggest gripes. I can deal with number One as long as the power still puts me back in to full hide. Number Four is not my biggest gripe, but it would sure be nice to have this fixed as well. Again, sooo damn glad that somebody else has finally noticed. It was frustrating and tiring feeling like I was the only one who noticed...and even worse, the only one who cared.
  10. I don't ever recall that being an issue before it was changed. Other than that, can't really say one way or another if that would be an issue.
  11. What da fuuuuu...? Everything okay, Bill? Is there something you want to talk about, bud? 😜 In all seriousness, do what you want, man...if it works and you are able to do your job as a Tank, it shouldn't matter. You could always test the build out on test server if you are curious how effective the idea is?
  12. They never phased through you. but the mechanics of the old collision model was a bit tighter. It was tight enough that you could blend slightly instead of not even touching but being pushed anyway. @krj12 NPCs (the ones that are noninteractive citizens) did always push you, but now since your collision is set to a much larger frame, they push you more often and easily. They don't have to be so close to you anymore to push you. In the old days, you literally had to be directly in their path. Now, all you have to do is be within the aura distance and get moved.
  13. Yeah, me too. If I am at a contact or trainer with the window open, if another player gets too close to me, I get bounced around like a Pinball and shoved so far away from my contact, it closes the window. NPC's rudely walking in to me and pushing me around all over the place. Mobs...trying to stay planted as a Tank can be difficult when the collision mechanics of the NPCs, can and do push me out from the center of the mob and off to the side. Playing as a Stalker? I have literally had my Assassin's Strike interrupted, not because I was hit, but because I was pushed by the collision mechanics so far that it counted as an interrupt. It was not always this way. This was something that was changed around i6 if memory serves. The change came because the Devs did not like the idea that AoE's could hit far more enemies than they were comfortable with because it aided in Fire Tanks herding mobs and burning them all down. This below is a poor example, but it's the best example I can find of what the mechanics were prior to i6. However, this change is no longer needed and causes that annoying pushing that collision creates. My suggestion, tweak the collision mechanics just to the point where the pushing and shoving no longer takes place. It doesn't need to be as small as it used to be, but at least small enough to where the shoving no longer happens.
  14. I'm unsure as to where I read it, but I seem to recall the Devs saying that all Troller Immobs were going to behave in the same way and that Gravity was on the list of Immobs to be worked on. But...as some have said on the Troler forums, that never happened.

  16. Working on a Brute build now. It's looking pretty damn good so far. I'll post it up soon. It will have cap/near cap defense to Energy and somewhere around 60%+ Psi resist.
  17. Right click on Invincibility. Now drag the bar up from 1 to any reasonable number of NPC's. With only 4 NPCs near you, you get soft capped Energy Defense at 45.64%. With a single NPC near you, you get near cap at 40.84%. I simply left that bar at zero NPCs so others viewing the build can move it where they desire instead of me padding numbers with the bar. Edited for clarity.
  18. Interview with a Vampire, Louie to the reporter (Christian Slater) As far as that Psi hole goes... What Psi hole? The only hole that bothers me is the severe lack of Endurance Drain Debuff resist. However, with the high defense to Energy, most mobs are avoidable with their end sapping. Only the auto hit powers get through. This Hero build was built using Mids Reborn 3.1.2.5 https://github.com/LoadedCamel/MidsReborn Click this DataLink to open the build! 19. Meh, My Elec/Elec Over Powered Stalker is power hungry...MOAR POWAH! He's my only Elec/Elec and he'll take all the power you want to give him. So why not.
  20. I do, v3.1.2.5 Issue 27 Page 3 DBVersion 2021.1214. Luminara helped me remember what I was doing wrong though.
  21. Crap, you are right, I was looking at the wrong stat. I didn't right click on the regeneration bar in order to see the Hit Point per second numeral. I was simply looking at the percentage. What's worse, is that I fricken knew that, but for some reason it slipped my mind. God I must be getting old.
  22. I couldn't decide if that deserved a laughing face or a thank you, but it's such a strong point thematically I had to go with the thank you, lol.
  23. So in Mids, the Regen meter does not move after activating Dull Pain/Earth's Embrace. Anyone know the formula that can be used to determine the new regeneration rate after using these abilities?
  24. People are going to tell you how to play no matter what you do. Doesn't mean you have to listen. Not sure why this has to be any different. Not everyone slots their KB powers with a KB to KD either, in fact some actually slot KB enhancements, it's simply a choice...and how many times have I heard, "I am all for choices." What you are talking about is a forced action, and I typically try and stay away from forced changes.
  25. Not when you are shackled it doesn't. Setting aside everything else you wrote, being Immobilized is like having your ankles shackled to a ring in the concrete. If I throw a refrigerator at you, it's going to knock you down, not back...unless of course I throw it so hard your feet are literally left behind still shackled as your body flies backwards that is, lol. So no, If I immobilize, no targets should be getting knocked back when I put it all together in my head. Targets getting knocked when they are Immobilized seems very off, in a gaming mechanical sense and in a more reality sense.
