zones that are never used ( for the most part)

Wow, that really would be sweet as hell! I would love to see that happen. -
Minimal Graphic Option for seismic blast for teammates
Solarverse replied to KaizenSoze's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
This goes for ANY powerset in game pretty much. You get three of anything you will have an issue. I agree with arcane, if it's to much for you, temporarily adjust your settings until you no longer have three. Not to mention, the set is still new, once the newness wears off, you won't be finding that so much anymore. TheDevs have enough on their plate already. -
Or you can do what I do, fly, then slightly aim down while holding the space bar. Works like a charm. You get to keep the aura and the trail without your camera being filled with effects. I prefer to fly this way anyway, since for whatever stupid reason, this game thinks our characters need to fly in an upright position instead of facing flat with the direction you are traveling...it's a double bonus and the Devs don't have to do a thing.

zones that are never used ( for the most part)
Solarverse replied to MikeEmike's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
They used to do that, I seem to recall they would drop an inspiration back at around pre i7? Unless my memory has went bad, that's how I remember it. Also, adding to what you wrote, I would love to see Hazard Zones actually be hazardous. Larger mobs, higher levels than the minimum requirement to enter, more challenging missions, more mobs per square foot, kind of like how Hollows was before the revamp. -
I have a KD in mine, but I also run a Damage Aura, Icicles, so the sleep is useless for me even with the auto hit. So I couldn't say one way or the other if it interrupts the sleep. I was under the impression that only damage interrupts sleep.

pre i7, Hits Elude and gives the middle finger. 😄

I respect that you put it in a logical sense. The way he/she came at me was more of an attack. Usually, if somebody comes at me logically, I simply give them a thumbs up and leave it be, because we all have our points of view. I respect yours.

Yeah, sure. I sure as hell aren't scared to speak my mind, if that's what you mean. I do find it a bit hypocritical of you to say that, since I have seen you fight against players who are trying to change the meta of the game. Back then, I was defending the meta of the game as well...so honestly, I don't see how yours is justified and mine is simply being combative. I guess you felt like being combative by making that statement and you just wanted to cast the first stone...congrats I guess.

I'm as old school of a player as they come, I complain about how easy the game has gotten and fought against it tooth and nail the entire time players kept complaining and wanting it to be easier. I fought against the debt cap being lowered, I fought against AE, I fought against free inspirations upon leveling, I fought against level rezes, I fought against aggro limits, I fought against removal of ambushes, I fought against IO's and set bonuses, I fought against Incarnates, I fought against Hollows being changed from an actual Hazard Zone to the playground that it is today....none of it mattered. I have watched this game go from being challenging to EZPZ over the years in defeat of the self gratification masses that out numbered me.

It wasn't always "play your way" it became play your way over the years as players complained their way to the game becoming that way. The game used to be, "This is the game, take it or leave it" but sadly players complained it in to what it has become...the ultimate instant gratification game. Those of us who appreciated the game for what it was, lost that game and had to settle for what the instant gratification players created. So yeah, there are some of us who will ALWAYS be a bit salty about that. Just like there are players who are salty about the Original Devs going through insane amounts of trouble to end PLing, just to turn right around and open up a huge can of worms with allowing AE to allow players to do the same damn thing. It makes you wonder, what was the point in ending all the ambush mobs in all the mission and putting aggro caps on players if they are just going to turn around and make AE to where people can abuse the hell out of that too? Yet we are fine with AE power leveling? The power leveling in this game has gotten way out of hand as it is. The over abundance of Power Leveling is starting to have a negative affect it would seem based on countless threads I have seen popping up. It shows when we finally get some challenging content in the game and players are already complaining about the content being challenging. IMO Power Leveling has spoiled players rotten, they don't even want a challenge anymore. They want everything just handed to them, this is apparent when you see more players requesting AE than you do players requesting mission teams.

Saying what I'm thinking.

7 randoms ran the new Cavern of Transcendence. It got ugly.
Solarverse replied to Kai Moon's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Figures. I have been WISHING for this game to be challenging again and when we finally do get something that requires something more than Tank and Spank "Tanks can get mezzed!" instead of bringing along an Emp Defender with Clear Mind, we instead get complaints and people want it to be easier. FFS...this game will never get that level of difficulty back if we are going to continue to complain when something comes along that requires real team work with real balanced teams. -

I would just be happy if mob sizes, spawn rates and levels went back to what they were prior to the zone rehaul. They took a real Hazard Zone and turned it in to a playground.

Malta Sappers and Gun Drones and new Electrical Blast
Solarverse replied to VanguardXL's topic in Bug Reports
I'm confused. so are you pretty sure, or is that a fact? Me personally I have never noticed either way, so I can't say, but it seems you start it off saying that you are not entirely sure, but then go on to say it like it's fact, heh. -
I won't argue with the Spin part on Stalkers, or even The Lotus Drops for Stalkers. Losing out on those two AoEs hurt the sets IMO as well.

The Reason "Master Of..." Trials Fail (It's the leader's fault)

Ever try to get the badge in DFB? Even when you say something in chat and give details on how not to screw that up, one of the easiest badges to get in theory can be one of the most difficult because people (especially new players) seldomly read chat. So although the Leader saying something can greatly increase the odds for the team, it does not mean that the team is going to listen. In fact, judging from what I have seen players say on these very boards, there are those who just flat out don't like being told what to do and they will do what they want anyway. Just asking a player to refrain from using knock back on a team who is trying to focus on mass AoE is a sinful act these days, much less trying to get everyone to work together for a greater goal. I think there might be some Leaders who have learned that opening their mouth only leads to arguments, especially when you have that one player on your team that wants to override your direction and give direction of their own because their way is a "better way." I can't even count how many times I have seen leaders actually try to lead just to meet opposition from some know-it-all player who would rather join your team and dictate rules rather than start their own and dictate rules. Just trying to give you a flip side to this and possible reasons why so many Leaders seldom speak up anymore. -
I find Claws to be sadly lacking in damage. I think on a Tank they are frustrating outside of concept.

They did the same thing with DvD's, they said it would be the last thing movies would be played on. It was how they got us to let go of all our VHS collections. Next thing you know, not long after, here comes BlueRay. Sigh...maybe I am just getting old, but it sure is getting very tiring trying to keep up with technology.
-
Would be nice if the people held them to task. Remember when they said that Windows 10 would be the last Windows? I for one am tired of being told that something will be the last, just for them to keep on going.

I never understood why males can't get that pattern in the costume designer. It's one of the best classic patterns in game but males can't have it.

I preferred it much better back when the objects exploded upon impact. I hate that they stay around now. Back when they exploded, it actually gave the illusion that the impact was severe. Now, it just looks like they are rubber balls bouncing off somebody and wouldn't hurt any more or less than a dodge ball.
