  1. I used Water/Atomic for mine.. and got him up to 50. He's a lot of fun, especially if you want to blapper! Atomic has some good holds and melee powers.
  2. I believe you can just make the folders yourself. My main folder is /CoX and everything works fine under that directory. I had to create a fonts folder to make a change to my fonts. Edited: So, that I am not talking out of my butt, I just had to create the folders. Once done, I put all the files in the /menu folder, started CoX, made my macro and BAM works just fine 🙂
  3. I am not doubting your issue, but on Saturday, I did ToTing in Kallisti wharf, in about an hour, I had the tip drop 4 times and I was able to get all 6 badges for the tip mission (I had done one tip mission previously). I made sure to knock on doors while in costume. I do not remember if I got the tip as a treat or as a drop from fighting door mobs.
  4. I'll have to check when I get home... I can physically move the mouse across the monitors, but it jumps on it's own accord.
  5. .. when you log your character into the game, but leave the computer to do something (because you know you logged out in a safe spot), only to come back and find him dead because you logged in during a zombie invasion.
  6. Ditto with Kallisti Wharf. Several times, different characters
  7. I still want to know where she hid that bat....
  8. I have a wireless mouse, but I used it wired. I thought I've updated my video card.. it downloads updates automatically. But I can check. Thanks for the tip.
  9. I always assume, and this might be a problem but I haven't found it yet, that if nothing is said when LFG-ing or forming a TF, then the TF will be a normal, run of the mill, TF. No speed run, 4x8, nothing special - except stealthing stealthable missions. Like you said, it's up the leader to promote the type of TF they're running and members to meet those expectations or speak up.
  10. TBH, I never noticed perpetual darkness, but in all seriousness, are the days actually shorter during the Halloween event?
  11. This doesn't solve your problem, but could be a work around: I use /wdwsave and /wdwload constantly. I work on two different computers and the windows sizes are different. I would do a /wdwsave when you have your basic layout and then bind a key with /wdwload. When you're windows get out of norm, just use the bind and they'll be back where they belong.
  12. On my system, I have two monitors. I play CoH on the main monitor in full screen mode. While I am playing, my mouse with unexpectedly jump to the second monitor and I know I haven't moved it over there. So when I click, I click out of the game. Has anyone else had this issue? I am sure it's system and not game related, but a way to stop it would be cool 🙂
  13. There was a person on Victory who made a Hitler clone. His character didn't last and no one wanted to team with him. The worst part was he was a "hero." He asked me why I wouldn't team with him. I told him that while I didn't know him as a person, there is no way I would "hang out" with a character so vile and repugnant to my personal beliefs. Even tho I am not an RP-er, there are things I won't do.
  14. I noticed the window decorations last night and I don't remember them on live either.. thought they were awesome!
  15. From the description, it's a vanity pet. It just hangs out and can't be killed 🙂
  16. You can get a spider pet with 10 of each salvage!
  17. That happened to us last night in the Wharf... but, if he's stupid enough to come right back to the spot where we soundly trounced him.. he deserves it a second time.
  18. HolyMittens, I ran the arcs again and I can't find the errors.. I think I chose different branches and it didn't give me the dialog I want. They were minor, but if I find them again, I'll let you know 🙂 Still fun a second time! 🙂
  19. I've used one slot for an aura that I want when soloing but might get too annoying in a team situation.
  20. I forgot to mention something in Bobby's arc. In the council/swat mission, I really liked the optional save and how it affected the rest of the mission. I also liked that it wasn't part of the objectives. I think that's a cool idea that you run across something that's not mentioned and it will affect the mission or story.
  21. For the first one, I misspoke. It was one of MY response choices to the Warrior guy. Something like "how do you think we got to this fight in the first place.. " I'll run it again tonight. 🙂 Okay on the enemies 🙂 It must have been my bad luck 🙂 Rider was talking about taking the evidence to the police. I'll try and get that ending again 🙂
  22. Okay finished both arcs last night/this morning, through Oro. I want to run them both again for different endings. First the "critiques": Bobby's arc: When talking to the warrior boss (I couldn't spell his name if I tried), one of the speech bubbles has the word "go" in it and I believe it should be "got" because the sentence is really awkward otherwise. The final boss was tough, especially with the ending I received. I did die once. She may be tougher than she should be? Or she has too much end drain in her abilities? And she has way too much accuracy, it seemed like she never missed. Shauna's arc: The second mission (I think, sorry) seemed to be loaded with too many orange lts. Especially when they're yellow in the other missions. In the bank mission, I opened a vault and ambushes spawned, but I don't know if they were going to stop spawning and there was just enough time after the 3rd spawn to open the safe. The ambush in last mission comes when you're not expecting it (obviously, it's an ambush) but you probably have engaged the enemies right after the ambush trigger. Thus causing a really big group of enemies to fight. I didn't have a problem because of my powers, but a "squishy" might. In Frost's dialog, 3rd bubble I believe, there's a word or words missing. After he says "You didn't". (Sorry again for not being more specific) Praise time: The stuff above is really minor. I greatly enjoyed both arcs. I liked the fact that since they're Vigilante/Rogue arcs you have choices that are not "morally" available to Heroes/Villains. It makes for a very refreshing sense of game play. Bobby's is more "fun" and Shauna's is more serious. They made me want to run them again because I truly want to experience the different endings. The cut scene in Shauna's arc - I felt like I wanted to find out that the Detective was on the take as well. The writing is really good and very much in the flavor of the game. Kudos to HolyMittens for keeping the spirit alive. And to whomever chose the doors for the arcs: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for keeping them close together and in the same zone. (Thank you to HolyMittens for writing the arcs to take place in the same zone as well!) I look forward to more of these new arcs, it's nice that the middle levels got some love.
  23. Well, now you could miss the guy on the phone saying he's not Ascendant if there was no wait.
