  1. Did you save you costume files? Like GM Capocollo said, Rocket Boots and other such recipes are now unlocked for everyone. If you load your old costume they should be there, they were for me.
  2. Because of the way the market fluctuates, I suspect a definitive conversion table would be impossible. For example, I've been playing with the market for just over a month and in that time the Celerity: Stealth IO has dropped its average sale price from 2.5 million inf to 1.5 million inf. Sale prices also vary by day of the week, with weekends bringing higher prices than weekdays.
  3. I made back about half of what I spent by selling catalysts, unslotters, and rare salvage (from brainstorms). If I'd actually sold the ATOs I figure I'd have made around 160-170 million altogether. So no, the ROI isn't as good as you'd get with craft & convert. To me, it seems more like a high-roller's version of swapping merits for converters. And, as Yomo Kimyata points out above, it does scale really well.
  4. The comic was great, I hope the show measures up.
  5. I think it might be worth trying in an edge case where you have a small set (three, or at most four, pieces) and one of the pieces is vastly more profitable, much like in the example you gave. Steadfast Protection: Endurance/Resistance, for example, is probably worth an in-set conversion.
  6. Back on live the Signature Story Arcs were paid content. My understanding is the Devs didn't want to gate any badges behind a paywall so those arcs don't have badges.
  7. The one in my base does.
  8. So I decided to give this a try last week. I bought 10 H&V superpacks and got 13 ATOs out of the deal. Sadly, I have a horrible case of altitus and the ATOs I rolled wound up going to them rather than being sold. So I personally didn't make money this way. :P But it's definitely possible to make money if you open enough packs that the law of averages works in your favor.
  9. This is an excellent supplement to the usual beginner's advice I've seen handed out several places. Thanks.
  10. Terrific guide! Alas, I too wasted several hours trying to alphabetize those darn beacons. :P
  11. Have you tried Supergroup banners? They are fully tintable and the large hanging ones will cover a wall from floor to ceiling.
  12. Make sure you have the most recent version of the MoreMaps4U collection. Ah! Thanks, didn't realize there had been an update.
  13. I like this idea. A lot. So do I, but I'm not sure how you'd go about implementing it. Right now, access permissions are set on each salvage item individuality and they go by SG rank. Maybe you could treat coalition members as bottom rung SG member?
  14. The issue, I imagine, would be twofold: 1) You have to get all of your volunteers to use software that can be rendered by CoH's server code. Given how notoriously balky that code is, I'm not sure there's an off-the-shelf solution that would be usable. 2) You'd have to quarantine and scan all user submissions for malicious code. I have no idea how resource intensive that would be. Past a certain point though, crowd sourcing might just prove more troublesome than helpful.
  15. The Vidiotmaps marker for the badge Forward thinker, in Brickstown, is about 60 yards west (388.6 31.5 -1350.5) of the actual badge location (253.6 31.8 -1343.1).
  16. it's my understanding that Paragon Chat works by creating the base file on the client side (that is, on your PC). Your base is tied to your account and when you aren't online the base doesn't exist.
  17. Well darn, I could have sworn I had them alphabetized back on live—but there's no way to check that now unless Paragon Chat enables telepads some day. Thanks for all your work digging into it though!
  18. So does that mean if you missed Laura Lockhart's level range you can't get the badge? Or do you simply need to run the arc twice?
  19. 1) Yes, the whole base loads at once. A few seconds of demorecord is all you need. 2) I'm not sure about this one, since intra-base teleports weren't a thing on live and I only ever used demorecord to make base records. My suspicion would be that it doesn't, since you've already loaded the entire base when you first entered. 3) Unfortunately, I can't answer this with certainty. Items in storage should be saved along with all the rest of the base's data but I don't have any way to actually verify that it does so.
  20. If you're just making the demorecord as a way of preserving the base, that's not necessary. All the file information for the base loads at once when you first enter, so it all gets saved to the demorecord as well.
  21. I would say that's odd, but then apparently all of CoX is made of spaghetti code like that.
  22. So I set up a couple of teleporters with all the Paragon City beacons. But, annoyingly, the list of locations isn't in alphabetical order. I dimly recall that was an issue back on live, and that there was a trick to getting them to line up in the order you wanted, but I've forgotten what it was. Can anyone help?
  23. You can make a demorecord of your base and save that file. That doesn't guarantee another server will allow you to give them a copy of the demorecord and import your base. And those demo records can be used to recreate your base in Paragon Chat. I have several old bases from the live game there, for when I'm feeling nostalgic.
  24. I'm using the global channel Badgehunter. I think most of the shards also have dedicated badge/TF channels. Try searching for 'badge".
