I've never seen another comic book character besides Juggernaut with such a helmet, so I can't imagine it having much value beyond making Juggernaut clones, which is now against the CoC, so why bother?

The minimum level was removed in Issue 16, back in Retail. https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Rikti_War_Zone /jranger -
I respectfully disagree with this opinion.

Replace attuned with boostable crafted at 50?
Rathulfr replied to dmaker's topic in General Discussion
This. All of my yellow/orange sets are attuned so I can enjoy the bonuses while exemplared. All of my purple sets are boosted +5, because purple set bonuses always exemplar. Any remaining common IOs are also +5 boosted. Simplified rule of thumb: BOOST commons and purples. ATTUNE everything else.* (*: Assuming you care about/want to exemplar. If you don't/rarely exemplar, then you don't need attunements at all.) -

Focused Feedback: Pineapple vs. Pizza
Rathulfr replied to Obsidian Light's topic in Open Beta Testing
"If God had intended for pineapples to be on pizza, He would've had Christopher Columbus discover Hawaii, not America!" This is one of my classic Dad-sequiturs, which drive my kids crazy. -
If this keeps up, pretty soon this game will be gone to the Italians. Ridiamo tutti!

Adding new bugs is almost as important as adding new features. It's how programmers insure job security, after all. 🤣 -

I'm older than you are (but probably still not the oldest player here). (also: click the microscopic link in my previous post's footnote)

The flow of battle should be as clear as possible
Rathulfr replied to Varkarrus's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Some of these items are already in-game as UI options: cooldown timers, health bars on players and pets, etc. Others just require occasionally moving the camera or getting some elevation (e.g., by hovering above the fray). And a few of them are just tough luck: the engine is 20 years old (I believe they started working on the game in 1999), before such niceties were even considered, much less considered essential. CoH was a pioneer, and it definitely shows its age in these regards. -
You could call him "Johnny Puncho"*. 😉 (*: You must be as old as I am to get this right away.)

Stealth and Invisibility (Concealment pool)
Rathulfr replied to Heraclea's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
There seems to be some confusion on this, at least on my part. My understanding was that the defense bonus of Stealth was never suppressed -- only the stealth component was suppressed by combat. This is why I've always included Stealth in many of my builds: I pick it instead of Combat Jumping. The defense value of Stealth is the same as CJ and Hover; however, the endurance cost of Stealth and Hover are higher than CJ because of the additional benefits of Stealth's reduced perception bonus or Hover's improved vertical mobility. That additional end cost was worth the tradeoff (CJ has a much cheaper end cost). But somewhere along the way, that changed. After carefully insuring that my builds soft-cap defense with Stealth, it's disheartening to see my defense drop below that in combat, since the patch. I've heard someone say that it's always been suppressed (I doubt that, but honestly can't say for sure, because I never paid so much attention before), someone else say that half of it suppressed (which seems kind of like what's happening now), and others (like me) who say it never suppressed before. Which is it? Which is it supposed to be? Which should it be?- 17 replies

Do you have the Accolades that also boost base HP?

Same way as you do on live? After leveling up to 50, I just open the Incarnate windows, craft the Incarnate enhancements, and then slot them. I just did it the other day, in fact.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! (edit:) I'm joking, of course. Yes, I'm aware of that, and I do try to hover in such a way as to avoid collateral damage.

This is the one iTrial where I feel like my ranged, hovering, tank-mage builds (Blaster/Sentinel) really shine. I'm raining down destruction on my targets while flitting about like a psychotic gadfly, laughing maniacally as the melees lament and die all around me. Everywhere else in game, I feel like melees are the kings of the castle, but here, in this gorram-awful place, I reign supreme. It's exhilarating.

Please. +1 -
+1 Amen from me on this. It's why I still love my Sentinel, even though I've moved on to playing a fairly tanky Blaster since then. My Blaster is almost as durable as my Sentinel, but his damage is significantly superior. It's a lot easier to make a tanky Blaster than a blasty Sentinel: that's why I wish they'd buff Sentinel damage a bit more.

I just don't want them cluttering up the menu of my "home" server. I don't care if they clutter the menu of a server I don't, or rarely, use. I should probably just delete them, but there's always this nagging suspicion in the back of my mind that I might like to try them again in the future, so it would be easier to transfer back a mid-level character, rather than rebuilding from scratch. But that's a "me" problem.
