  1. I've suggested an incarnate power that has core adding KB and radial reducing KB. Bonus points if that incarnate power got a damage dot based on the distance knocked.
  2. But Six, why do you have to double check? Did you think it was Jimmy? Was it Jimmy? It was Jimmy, wasn't it? Why are you covering for Jimmy?
  3. Cobalt "Easter Egg" Arachne!
  4. It's a fanny pack!
  5. I agree. I don't think an accolade should have another accolade as a requirement. Especially one as grindy as this one. Pick anyone of the safeguard badges or one of the newer hero-side badges instead would be my preference.
  6. How about a pair of Shield/Axe Tanker and Axe/Shield scrapper? You can do a lot of concepts with Shield and Axe from tribal to feudal to cops to futuristic. Phalanx Fighting and Grant Cover will add to your defenses. Add in some leadership powers and good slotting and you should both be fairly unkillable and do good damage. Here are links to the different shields and axes you can choose from: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Shield_Customization https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Weapon_Customization#Axes
  7. I disagree. But that's all I'll say about it. Feel free to PM me if you want to debate further.
  8. The whole concept of Star Trek as conceived by Roddenberry would be categorized as "woke" today. All races, ethnicities, nationalities, and sexes (though not gender initially) work together to explore the universe and the Earth is an egalitarian paradise with no scarcity or pollution. But yes, I get your point. It's not just who they chose as actors as much as whether they acted well in well written scenes and that the creators blame the audience and not themselves.
  9. You make good points!
  10. I have never found ANY of the Star Wars movies or shows to be high art. I have nostalgic feelings about the first three because I saw them in the theater as a kid. But even then I recognized it as an ordinary fairy tale with knights and princesses. In fact, I've found many of the D+ shows better than the movies, especially the Mandalorian. I recently watched the first few episodes of the Acolyte and felt that the "It's too woke" criticism to be overblown. It was fine to me. It's not high art but, sorry, nothing from Star Wars is high art. It has a few women in major roles and a coven of lesbian witches. So does this planet. *shrug* What I generally have a problem with is when they change existing characters from one thing to another. That was my problem with the 2016 Ghostbusters with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones. I like all of them in SNL and other stuff, but there was no need to recreate a classic just to make the leads female. I have absolutely no problem with the more recent ones having Egon's granddaughter as a protagonist. And I would have felt the same if they had written the female cast as the children of the originals, or a branch office of Ghostbusters in another city.
  11. Sai MAY LAY with dogs. Sai MAY GET Fleas.
  12. Been there, done that. 😁
  13. Why can't we get a /command or options setting where we could set group fly preference on the fly (pun) instead of having to visit Null? I think there's a reason, but I can't remember what it is.
  14. If you really want to freak someone out, use maximum AoE knockback on a farmer's nice neat scrum. Oh, the humanity! Oh yeah? Well then . . .
  15. Yomo asked for a KB incarnate power above. I think it would be very cool to have an Alpha that added KB on the core side and reduced KB on the radial side. The higher up the tree you go, the greater the effect of either +KB or -KB. You could even make both sides to switch back and forth as wanted or needed. I would also love if that included a damage proc or +dam added that increased damage the further back a thing is knocked. Probably not possible to have that kind of conditional damage, but damn would that be cool.
  16. Damn this is sad. The problem with getting older is seeing your friends and family pass away. RIP, Anne Marie.
  17. Such a lovely place. What most people didn't realize is that the Hotel California was really a Roach Motel. Roaches check in but they can't check out = You can check out any time you like but you can never leave (cue guitar solo)
  18. I will be your tiny guinea pig! Give me your outrageous sums of money and start the timer to see how long I stay. What?
  19. Be careful what you wish for. I'm all for more info and data. But do not be surprised that the merit rewards for things like Tin Mage and Apex get adjusted downward about the time that data is provided. Players are like water -- they both choose the path of least resistance -- and gravitate towards the fastest rewards/time. While I don't particularly want to see rewards nerfed anywhere, I wouldn't mind some downward adjustments if that also included some upward adjustments to keep merits/time relatively balanced while also acknowledging that harder content deserves better rewards. And harder content doesn't only mean 4*. It can be acknowledging that you don't have as many tools at level 10 as you do at level 50+3.
  20. That's where I drew some blood. Fleas do that.
  21. New admissions may be closed at the moment, but when did you decide you wanted to be a tester? It was completely open a few years back. You pretty much just asked to join Gold Standard Testers and agreed not to reveal what was being tested publicly. Unfortunately, not everyone keeps their word. And you don't have to take my word for it, but there are people with lots of different views that don't agree with each other, or the devs, all the time. Eventually it will go to open beta and everyone can test it out. If you are really interested in being a part of closed beta, that is your best opportunity to get in there, test it out and report your findings.
  22. You could just give it all to me and not worry your pretty little head over the silly details. I'll take care of everything for you.
  23. Yes, that really is a true picture of a graph, made by a player, who tested the power sets using his own set of rules, and those are his conclusions. Someone else running different builds or under different rules might come to different conclusions, but it's a nice baseline to look at anyway. Note: Also, things change over time. The devs tinker with powersets from time to time and improve somethings and nerf others. I forget when that was made.
