I’m still traveling from Thanksgiving, so I can’t look at Mids or my character, but it played fine to me. I did consider adding recharge somehow but could not decide on what to sacrifice to get it. I may have traded attuned IOs for +5 boosted ones on some of those.

Here's mine. I take a slightly different tack to most on Symphony -- I slot for range. A few sets of Bombardment, Intuition Radial, and Clarion Radial and I can make those cones hit from 154 feet away, scaling down to 98 feet when Clarion is down. I also slot Confounding Chant with Frozen Blast set so I get Stun + Immob, which is a poor man's AoE hold. Similarly, the Aria of Stasis immob gets a set of Overpowering Presence and the Font adds a stun. When stuff is locked down I can hit them with Frost Breath and Ice Storm while Fluffy and the Rev have their way with them.

How to fix Storm Summoning; A Hot Take
Bionic_Flea replied to ValiantBlu's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I have always liked this idea. -
All Hybrid incarnate powers are a strange combination of Auto, Click, and Toggle. Once you slot a hybrid, you get the auto portion of the power. To get the other benefits, you have to click on it and then you can see the "spin" that all toggles have except that it will expire after two minutes and then spend another two minutes recharging until you can click it again. For Melee Core Embodiment specifically, all of the benefits above the phrase "Grants power Melee Boost Very Rare" are only active when clicked (and in the presence of critters to stack) and the +30 regen below the phrase is automatic and always on.

Blarf's eating that poor bird! -
I feel the urge to tidy up your inspirations. They're making me twitch!

I heard the game has problems differentiating between dead and undead. It probably thinks you are just dead dead. No badge for you!

You made a character named Blarf just so you could test this, didn't you. Don't be Ridiculous! -

Back on live, when I first created Bionic Flea, the only store that sold tech SOs at my level that I knew of was way at the back of IP. I was very happy when someone introduced me to the tech contact in Bricks that you had to run a mission for. This was way before they added the quartermasters in RWZ that sold everything.

From within that thread: Basically, if someone attached an image within the thread it might become the "poster child" for the thread when linked. By the way, I think the image is hilarious. -

earning XP is to fast
Bionic_Flea replied to His Most Royal HighAss's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I think* that it would not be too hard to add -50% and -75% as a counterpoint to the bonus XP available from START (nee P2W). And, assuming that it is easy, I see no harm in adding that as a choice. I could even see it adding bonus Inf, like the boosters trade XP for Inf, but turned off at level 50 as well. I also want to remind the OP and others that might see this that players can choose to add difficulty settings to any TF or Ouro arc. You can buff enemies, debuff yourself and teammates, remove benefits of enhancements, prevent the use of inspirations, and limit powers in several ways (no power pools, no temporary powers, no travel powers, and/or no epic/patron powers). Edited to add that I don't like the badge portion of the OP. Making new badges that my old badge collector could not obtain is a non-starter for me. *Insert Standard Code Rant -

Kraken is more science than magical, though. Are there any other magic monsters?

AH! I see it now. Missed it on first look. And yeah, you've gotta balance everything in a build to your preferences. I've also slotted KD in Soul Drain and it makes a great opener to be buffed and your enemies flopping.
-
Could possibly add the Abomination from the House of Horrors as an existing asset.
-
You may want to find a place to slot Kismet +tohit. Ups your chance to to hit on all attacks and can be slotted very early. Great on proc heavy builds where you have limited Acc slotting. I usually put it in Combat jumping in the teens as I'm leveling up. Soul Drain is also an excellent place to slot a Gaussian's Build up proc.

Not sure if this could be easily coded, but . . . I think it would be cool to add a seventh and eighth ATO to one of the Brute sets. They would be mutually exclusive and would yield the same set bonuses as the set currently has. One ATO would add additional smashing damage to attacks that could be slotted for damage (like interface procs). The amount of damage is the balancing point, or perhaps tied to fury. The other would add +1 defense to all and +2 resist to all, or again could be tied to rage. The balancing point is the total amount of armor allowed. That would allow players to make a build choice: More damage or more survival. They could also go more survival on this ATO to open up damage procs opportunities elsewhere. They could even carry both on them and use unslotters to use out of combat to "tune" their character for whatever is coming next. You could also completely ignore it and keep your build as it currently is. This would not break any existing builds. Crazy idea? Maybe. But just crazy enough to work!
