What we really need is to clone Number Six at least twice! Six, Six, Six. . . . Oh God. What have I done!

Storm Chasing: how are you building so far?
Bionic_Flea replied to ThaOGDreamWeaver's topic in Corruptor
Agree. The things I did for endurance: 1. Slotted Panacea, Numina and Miracle uniques in Health 2. Slotted Performance Shifter and Power Transfer Uniques and one End.Mod from each 3. Slotted Scourging Blast +End proc in Hailstones, use it often, and then made it Superior at 50. 4. I took Cardiac Core for Alpha and Support Core for Hybrid 5. Finally, I looked at my build and found my cheapest and most expensive end cost powers and tried to use cheap ones more than expensive ones if possible. -
No stats for you! /jranger But I would like the terminals to display all the stats they used to. Or a revised set of personal character stats.

Storm Chasing: how are you building so far?

OOOH! That sounds like a fun combo and lots of tools to keep critters inside Storm Cell & Cat5. -
As SwitchFade said, there are fluctuations for a large number of fairly predictable reasons: 1) Prices tend to go up on the weekend and down during the week as more players have time off to play on the weekends and therefore add demand. 2) Prices tend to go up around holidays, for the same reason: more players = more demand. 3) Prices tend to go up on the release of new content. Once again, new content draws more players, which leads to more demand. Beyond that, new powersets or changes to existing powersets can cause IOs commonly used in those sets to experience greater demand, which leads to higher prices. 4) ??? 5) Profit? I can't think of any more off the top of my head. Can anyone else think of another predictable fluctuation? Specifically with regard to the Numina's mentioned by Nitekilla: On April 25, 2023, HC released Page 6 of Issue 27, which added Storm Blast and made quite a few changes to a number of other ranged sets. New powers and power changes means people are making new ones or fiddling with existing ones. The Numina Regen/Recovery is used by almost every character that uses set IOs. And Defenders and Corrupters as a whole are beneficiaries of all those ranged powers and their other powersets frequently have powers that can take Numina.

WAIT! Before you kill it off, here's my build for Mercs/Sonic. It's from before the most recent MM changes, but it still works fine. If I made it today I would move a slot or two to the pet exports. The trick for me was to keep them fighting alongside me, inside my dispersion bubble. Good luck! [/img] View This Build In MRB

Both worked for me.

My recollection is that the -res procs are coded to make the target debuff him or herself, so that there is no purple patch or level considerations, other than initially hitting.

I liked it on Storm/Storm corrupter. -
Oh great. Now, whenever I p, there's a screenshot of it.

Badges: puzzled why teams never seem to go for these ones
Bionic_Flea replied to Techwright's topic in General Discussion
WHO SAID I WAS BORING?!?!?! ZemX said it? Oh, hey Zem, what's up. Fleas are never boring. It is known. -
1) I wanted to fly 2) I always take leadership on MMs 3) I wanted Power Boost and Scorpion Shield 4) I needed a place to slot Steadfast, Gladiator's Armor, and Unbreakable Guard 5) So then I either had to take Flying and Fighting or take Sorcery 6) Taking Sorcery also gave me Spirit Ward to mule Preventive Medicine +absorb and to add a layer of protection to a minion 7) All that and I get a Breakfree and extra resistance on demand from Rune of Protection!

You might want to try dropping Storm Cell first. It does not aggro at all (unless they see you, but that's you not the power).

I can think of one. Achilles Heel -res proc was 1-2 million a few years ago. Now they regularly go for 4-5 mill. I attribute that to a delay in the masses realizing how strong that proc is. Most builds these days, certainly those chasing DPS and Pylon times, will have an Achilles or two.

BBQ Kitty! Just in time. I was starting to make dinner plans.

Take a chance! It's not a bad chance either: There are 11 HOs. Lets assume equal distribution, so a 1 in 11 chance to get what you want. But of those 11, four of them go for 10 million or more (Membrane, Cyto, Micro, & Nucleo) another five sell for a million or more (although sometimes less, to be fair), leaving only two real dogs (Peroxi and Golgi). So while you have a 1 in 11 chance to get any specific HO, you have a bit under 40% chance to get something good. You could still get one HO and then pick merits for the other two Hammy defeats.

If you're going to play at the highest level in the game...
Bionic_Flea replied to Oklahoman's topic in General Discussion
If it could be coded easily, I would be in favor of having to "unlock" 2XP and AE by having your first 50 on the account. That way everyone would have to go through the game at least once to experience it from beginning to end. Then after that they can speed through if they want. -
This is probably the best way to get the badge -- wait until Lady Grey is the weekly. It will be run over and over during the week and should give folks plenty of opportunities to obtain the badges. Also, if you haven't already, you should add the Hero Event, Villain Event, and Praetorian Event Channels enabled. I have them all along with LFG channel on one tab to keep track of what's about to happen. Kinda like monitoring police radio. That lets you see when Nemesis, or any other invasion or giant monster, is ready to pounce.

Not everyone can be a Sooner. But wait . . . if you are saying these players are jumping the gun by flying to 50 and itrials without an idea of what it might be like, . . . well, maybe they ARE Sooners. 😎 -
I think there are larger Internet outage issues afoot. https://downdetector.com/

The only thing I want from call boxes would be to "hear" Ascendant talking to Saul Rubenstein. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Ascendant-O's

Oh! I had another possible solution to a non-problem: Sell them like SOs in the Merit Vendor for some large value of merits -- larger than purples -- something like 300 merits. That should effectively cap all HOs to 75 million or so on the market and allow a back door for folks that would rather pay in merits than inf.
-
This is my understanding as well. I believe Faultline was the one who said it. It may have been on a Discord or DM. But I wonder if you could create a "recipe" that required an HO (or equivalent) plus say 10 million inf ( or whatever the number crunchers can come up with as fair and appropriate) to make the initial HO into a different HO? As a rule, I am against seeding the market. It was needed initially because we were starting with completely empty shelves. Those really expensive HOs and D-Syncs are expensive because they are highly desirable AND rare. High demand and low supply = high price. However, I would be in favor of slightly tweaking the drop rate among HOs (and equivalents) to make the more expensive ones a little more likely to drop and therefore increase the supply, which will ultimately lower prices.
