With Arcane Flight you automatically get Translocation, which is a nifty teleport power. I use a bind that teleports me to my target or to max distance in the direction I am looking if there is no target. That lets me pop in to the middle of a group to drop a big PBAoE, go straight to a glowie I can see while avoiding all mobs, TP right to an ally to heal/buff/rez, or travel quickly across a zone. I use the mouse scroll button. /bind mbutton, "powexec_location camera:max Translocation$$powexec_location target Translocation" All that to say, you could use Translocation, Skip Combat TP, and grab something else.

Is Market Inefficiency Causing Salvage Price Spiral?
Bionic_Flea replied to Herotu's topic in The Market
10 million or so of that 10,021,032 is the original amount the devs seeded the market with at a price of 100,000. That means the 21,032 is player supplied. The closer that gets to 0, the higher the price tends to go until it will cap at 100,000. If more people sold yellow salvage on the market, the price wouldn't fluctuate so much. All that said, I do think that slow market response can lead to higher prices. I am certainly guilty of quickly raising my bid by a factor of 10 until I get my precious. -
Not only that, but Intuition adds +Hold, -tohit, and slow, which can benefit a lot of powers in that build.

I made a symphonic/dark that I liked. My concept was to build for +range to maximize all of Symph's cones and added some more cone power with Frost Breath. Symphonic Flea - Symphonic-Dark Controller.mxd Hero Plan Long (Symphonic Flea).pdf

Someone called for a bug? How can I help?

Server consolidation has been debated since live and no one has convinced me (or the devs) that it's a good idea. Some reasons why it's a bad idea: 1. Loss of names - if someone else has "Bionic Flea" on another server one of us has to lose the name or we otherwise have to differentiate between the two. 2. Loss of SG - People spend a lot of time and effort creating their bases. And a lot of people use it for storing valuable in-game items 3. Some people prefer smaller populations

I generally agree with this with one exception. I think brand new accounts should get one character to 50 before "unlocking" AE. You would still have access to 2XP and everything else in the game and once you get that first 50 on the account you can sit in AE from level 1 to vet level 1 million, if you wish. This is tricky. Speaking just for myself, I do want the game to grow and expand but I don't want radical changes to stuff that has been a certain way for years and years. I want new powersets, new arcs, new factions to fight, and new places to fight in. While I understand the occasional need and persistent desire of some to change existing powersets and NPCs, I'd prefer that to remain to a minimum. There is literally years worth of content for a brand new player if they are interested in looking for it just a little bit.

If you think Requiem runs a lot, wait until you get to final Romulus. Although it eats into DPS, you may consider throwing electric fences into your rotation. If you had temps. I would suggest web grenades and other stuff. But even if it's a loss of DPS to use it, you lose even more chasing him down. You might have to slot fences for recharge and immobile to get stacks, not sure. If you are using flight to stay out of range, you may want to consider using Robotic Drones. They fly, do -regen in their attacks, and like to stay at range so if you all stay at 26+ ft he won't be able to heal. At 41+ ft he loses Tenebrous Tentacles. You'll have to go 200+ to avoid all ranged attacks . . . good luck with that. 😄

Nice costume! (too bad it won't be around long)
Bionic_Flea replied to cranebump's topic in General Discussion
Why can't it be both? The GMs should moderate the community from certain players' extreme conduct AND certain players should moderate their sensibilities to not be so offended to everything. I'm not commenting on anyone in this thread, just folks in general. Some people are too offensive and some people are too easily offended. -

Mob aggro: how, exactly, does it work?
Bionic_Flea replied to GastlyGibus's topic in General Discussion
I discovered yesterday that if you are reeeeeally far away -- so far that you have a targeting reticle but you can't see the NPC -- and snipe from that distance, the sniped dead NPC doesn't fall over until you enter visual range. Something about a tree falling in the woods comes to mind. -
honoroitisfantastic Would you pvp for prisms?
Bionic_Flea replied to honoroit's topic in General Discussion
Just from messing with the settings, it seems that Death match is for FFA and the other two modes require Attackers vs Defenders. The only difference, from the in game text, is that in FFA base defenses attack everyone and in attackers vs defenders the base defenses only attack non-SG members. I added some base defenses to see. I was able to destroy them and they came back after finishing the match AND leaving the base for a minute or two. However, they did not attack either of my characters as they are in the SG, even in FFA mode. I vaguely remember testing phase and completely forgot about it. I think I remember the issues and thought it didn't make it live. I think PvPers and Base Builders should get together. Fighting in Stadiums, Mazes, and other crazy places would be fun for both.- 140 replies

Bionic_Flea replied to honoroit's topic in General Discussion
I just PvPed against my second account in the base. You can choose Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, or Control Points. And secondary settings of Free for All or Defenders vs Attackers. Bonus fun fact: You can attack your base NPCs and some items, but they don't fight back or take damage. I don't have any base defenses so I don't know if those give and take damage. I even got a +1 reputation point for tying with 1 kill each.- 140 replies
