  1. How dare you! I demand compensation for this affront.
  2. Thus was born Psychic Flea! With all the bells and whistles (Intuition, Clarion Radial, Boost Range, and 40% from set bonuses), Psionic Lance is 525 Feet; everything else is 350, except for Psionic Darts, which is 210. Without incarnates its: PL = 375; others = 250; PD = 150. All that with defenses 15-38 alone, softcapped S/L/E with Power Boost or Clarion and just shy with Support Radial. I tossed it together rather quickly and took all the psi blasts, so flipping some stuff should net some additional defense if I lost a blast or two. Oh and with Psychic Focus, Gaussian proc, Build Up, and a few +dam set bonuses, Psionic Lance and Psionic Wail both do about 1500 damage (assuming average procs per Mids).
  3. Hmmm . . . This thread made me start thinking of a maximum range character for a new project. Do you still get XP beyond 210 feet or is it just the badge counter?

  5. Wait a second now. Don't be too rash. I'd take a billion to be a punching bag for a bit. 🤪
  6. Aethers don't entice me to do anything other than to get enough for my badger when they first came out. It wouldn't bother me if it was added as a PvP reward but it would also not make me want to PvP.
  7. It improves defense on Dispersion, Maneuvers, and Combat Jumping for me, that (minus CJ) + the 2 shields for the pets. It also boosts my -tohit in Gloom and Life Drain, my heal in Life Drain, and my Sprirt Ward absorb, and finally a little bit longer disorient on Force Bomb. Oh and +Tohit from Tactics, which affects the pets as well. Not too shabby.
  8. Domo arigato, Yomo dogato. Domo . . . Yomo . . .
  9. *Reduces @Luminara's dosage of snark by 50%*
  10. Or flooding the market with your slotted and stored stuff, which would cause their value to plummet if you want reasonably quick sales.
  11. Says who? By what metric?
  12. "Americans will always do the right thing, only after they have tried everything else." -- Winston Churchill Regarding Oppenheimer: I think many will go see it because of it's director and cast as much or more than because of it's subject. Regarding OP: I always thought it was: Give you up: Never Let you down: Never Run around and desert you: Never Make you cry: Never Say goodbye: :Never Tell a lie and hurt you: Never Now you've been Rikti Rolled: Again!
  13. I will need proof that Force Field is now grossly overpowered. From my experience it is better than it was but no where near overpowered, let alone grossly overpowered, but maybe I'm missing something. PS: Dear @GM Crumpet: You just fell into Captain Fabulous' trap. Cap't Fab has been on an ANTI-power creep rant recently and his post was dripping in sarcasm.
  14. I would think of it as a feature, not a bug. But I'm weird that way.
  15. Gotta play your 50s and/or play the market, IMO.
  16. I want to know if any other Flea based characters are online, which server they are on, and what zone, so that I can ELIMINATE them. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!
  17. Here's a post that has my build and a few other folks. Lots more in different threads in that sub-forum. Look for crabbermind or crabstermind.
  18. A lot better than I thought it would be. New and Improved Trick Arrow paired nicely with Mind.
  19. I nominate the Crabber-mind! This is a crab based Soldier of Arachnos (VEAT) that takes all of the Spider pets and then gets himself and the pets soft-capped defense and some damage and -res procs. Oh! And enough recharge to make the pets permanent. It has elements of an MM, a defender, and a blaster. I took out a pylon in a little over a minute and I don't know how to get max Pylon times. Someone that knew what they were doing could do it faster. I also soloed Maria Jenkins arc with AVs at +4/*8. As long as the AVs don't run its easy. Even without the pets he can sole with a number or ranged ST and AoE attacks. And I took [shatter armor] from Mace Mastery. Damn that hits hard!
  20. It would! I have a fear based dark/dark stalker called Phobic Flea.
  21. Not yet. My sleep based Mind/TA controller is Soporific Flea. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/soporific
  22. What I do: 1) On creation a character gets 200-300 million starter funds, buys all the travel stuff, some temp powers, and grabs the freebies from P2W, including double XP. 2) That character runs around to level 7-12 and then hits the base and character email to scrounge whatever he might find that he can slot now or soon. He might find some ATOs, WinterOs, level 10 PvP procs, etc. 3) What he doesn't get he puts patient bids on; somewhere between 20-50% cheaper than the last 5. I don't mind if I have to wait as I won't be able to slot them for a few levels anyway. 4) They usually fill within 24 hours. If they don't, I raise the bid a bit, or perhaps go with the going rate if I really want it now. 5) I play that character to 50. Along the way, I get drops. I vendor white recipes and I craft whatever I have the salvage for and sell or convert and sell. I use merits I get from running TFs, arcs, and exploration accolades to buy the converters. When I get full on salvage I'll sell white and yellow salvage on market under going rates just to sell fast, help others out, and get badges that let me hold or sell more. I'll hold on to rare salvage unless I get a bunch of one kind. 6) I continue to play after 50 until at least T3, more if I really like the character, rarely less but it has happened. Playing at level 50 generates huge amounts of influence and once again, I continue vendoring white recipes and craft, convert, sell everything else. Almost without fail that character will have the amount of money that he was initially seeded or more! 7) When I feel the character is done or I get the itch to play something new, I'll put down cheap bids for low level recipes as the lower the recipe, the less it costs to craft it, or I might put lowball bids for attuned IOs that aren't very popular. When I convert those I might keep some in storage and sell the rest. Oh, don't forget to put in some lowball bids for the salvage to craft your recipes. 8 ) Those characters might sit there for a week or for several months. When I log them in, I'll grab their buys, craft/convert, and put stuff for sale. I usually have 25-100 million in sales sitting on them. I'll play them for a bit and will drop off any Prismatic Aethers or Enhancement Catalysts in storage. If he has over 500 mill he might buy some super packs or send an email with 200-300 mill for the next character. Don't forget to replenish your bids and place your stuff for sale before logging off. Once you start playing at 50, vendoring, and crafting/converting/selling it is almost impossible NOT to become a billionaire in time. Buying and selling on idle characters means you are making bank even when you aren't playing.
