  1. This is awesome. Thanks!
  2. After the 30s, endurance management got better, no doubt in part to the reduction in Soul Extraction's end cost, as well as having additional slots to work with plus the accolades. I ran a few missions in the 40s and it seemed fine. However, I still have to monitor endurance closely if I am actively using attacks and Soul Extraction. Then I cranked to to 50 and cheat-coded all the incarnate powers I wanted to T4. But I only used the passive incarnates (alpha, Interface, and unclicked hybrid) was able to solo +4/x8 Nemesis, Rikti, and Arachnos without dying, although I did have to run away a couple of times to resummon my critters against Arachnos. Dampening Bubble is very good against Arachnos to protect against debuffs, especially to defense and perception. I also took down a pylon in about 3 minutes just based on a clock. I forgot to start a stopwatch. It didn't feel overwhelmingly fast, but I feel that it was not bad for Necro/FF. While I have not tried, I'm not sure an Necro/FF could take down a pylon before these changes. At least not anywhere close to 3 minutes. Necro/FF is a very tanky MM. Not as damaging as some other sets but good enough.
  3. I understand your point and position, I just disagree that 1500 is the right price. *shrug* PS. You just admitted the price is unreasonable. 😎
  4. I'm a big fan of other ways to get Aether. Adding them to new Halloween badges was very smart as you get lot's of temporary Halloween costumes while running around Trick or Treating and having 10 Aethers after getting the badges lets players buy one of their favorites to make permanent and dip their toes into the system. I also think that players of all levels should get them from running the WSFs and not just level 50s. I assume that would let most characters have enough for at least one costume without running any hardmode on or before getting to 50. I'm glad that the Devs reduced the prices from the even higher levels that they had initially proposed. I think that 10/100/250 is appropriate for the first three tiers but that 1500 is too high.
  5. Damn those devs for changing things in patch notes based on testing and player feedback!
  6. Let's see: At 3 stars you get 13 Aether, so you'd need to complete 115 three star tasks to get 1,500. At 2 stars you get 7 Aether, so you'd have to complete 214 two star tasks to get 1,500. At 1 star you get 2 Aether so you'd have to complete a nice, round 750 one star tasks to get to 1,500. Of course, you would probably accumulate several from random mission completions and WSFs. But I assume that many if not most players would also want to spend 150 to get the associated badges. Sorry, but . . .
  7. [11:15] You activated the Hell on Earth power. [11:15] Target is unaffected by Hell on Earth.
  8. I think 1500 is a bit much for any of these. Not that I have any interest in the current Tier 4. But I'm guessing that some day I will want a future T4. Seventy five four stars is a lot for anyone. And not every character or player is going to even be able to participate in 4* content. So then you are going to have to do a bunch of lesser stars and WSFs or spend a lot of influence. How long do the devs think it should take for a player to earn a T4? Any stats on how many Aethers have been accumulated and by how many players?
  9. [Possible Bug] - Soul Extraction did not work at all in Mender Ramiel's first mission. Yeah, I know it's not a real mission as you have Limitless Radial Freeem and whatnot, but i still thought it odd that the power completely failed and might be a sign of a problem.
  10. OK. Then you get . . . more Jimmy links!
  11. How did you know? I posted a set of Jimmy links and quotes that gave a fairly good roadmap:
  12. I almost never sell rare salvage unless I've accumulated a bunch of a certain type and its clogging up my salvage. Occasionally, I will put them in storage or in email for other characters to craft. And I also almost never buy rare salvage. But I don't do volume like some of you guys. I just play, craft/convert/sell what drops and maybe buy cheap stuff to convert. I would think that you have a gazillion brainstorms from packs. Have you used those all up, saving them for a rainy day, have them in unopened packs, or just don't want to slow click to get them?
  13. Thanks, PK. Hope you are well. Please come back when you are ready.
  14. There's nothin' you can do that can't be done Nothin' you can sing that can't be sung Nothin' you can say, but you can learn how to play the game It's easy
  15. Are you calling me a psycho elephant?
  16. I appreciate whenever you chime in #6, and while a PR person sounds like a good idea, in my experience they usually end up sounding like a corporate shill. I will say that Jimmy was a great exception to that rule and I wish that he could still fill that role. But real life comes first.
  17. @Ukase, while I am always a fan of transparency and the freedom to discuss the game without too much moderation, I also understand that some secrecy and some moderation are necessary and helpful. It's not just Homecoming that works this way. Before a movie, or an album, or a book comes out the creators don't generally rehearse in public or release each page as it's written. Instead, they have editors, friends and family, and sometimes test audiences to take a look and give some feedback. It's not just artistic endeavors. Lots of businesses test market new products and services to a limited group before a general release to the public. In fact, HC is more open than most of those others. You don't get a preview for most things unless you work in the particular industry or are invited to participate. Here, everyone is invited to try it on the Beta server and everyone can request to be a part of Alpha testing. The best way to get invited to Alpha test, beyond asking and joining the Gold Standard Testers Discord, is to actively test things on Beta and give reasonable, honest feedback. That doesn't mean you have to love it or hate it. It simply means you have to try it and articulate why the proposed change is good or bad or needs adjusting up or down. They need all kinds of testers. Folks who like to edit text, folks who use spreadsheets to min-max, folks that play by "feel" and many others are all valid and needed.
  18. I had a similar experience. Got a notification that someone reacted/responded to me, went to look and it was gone. I clicked the "Contact Us" box and got an email directing me to this thread. I didn't know that OPs can remove a whole thread by removing their original post. Too bad. I liked that thread. HEY @Troo! What happened?
  19. I tried out the same combo; the zombies -tohit combines very well with the defense from FF. But the endurance use is crazy! Soul Extraction - 30 base endurance Repulsion Bolt - 12.74 base endurance Force Bomb - 21.19 base endurance Gloom and Life Drain - 10.66 base endurance Enchant and Dark Empowerment - 11.38 base endurance Even with decent slotting at level 35, I have to monitor endurance very closely or find my toggles dropping. I appreciate trying to make the MM personal attacks worth taking and I do really like the Specters, but taking them and only using them sparingly makes me think that I might still want to skip them and save the endurance. Oh, and with regard to the Specters, I had not noticed that they have a power Icon under your health bar when active. I didn't notice until I switched to numerical stacking and saw it go to 2 when the second Specter appeared.
  20. @Player-1 If it's there, it's too subtle for me to tell. Can anyone see the difference? Their summoning attack each have a different color set.
  21. I'd just like to know if they're there or not. Hard to tell sometimes with just 2 zombies. Once I have a full complement I assume it will only be harder. Option would be best of both worlds. Hey! Does coloring the power change the color/transparency of the Specter? Let me check. EDIT: Nope. Changing color just changes the summoning animation color, not the Specters' color, just like Lores. Although, having this different color is helping me recall a bit which power summoned one last. It would be great if they could inherit some of that color as an aura or the color of their cloak or sash. I know, I know *standard code rant* but a bug can have dreams.
