  1. I was sad to hear this. Animated Batman is one of the all-time best cartoons ever made and that was due in large part to Conroy. RIP.
  2. I didn't on my Shield/Axe. Even with shield charge, I like the extra AoE. But on Rad I can see it as they have Radiation Therapy and Ground Zero to add AoE damage, especially if using damage procs.
  3. I can't help but compare myself to everyone else. And I have to say, I'm disappointed with most of you. Y'all got to turn it up a notch or two. BINGO!
  4. Just goes to show how much money people will spend for BS items. . . .
  5. Thanks for the update. Safety first!
  6. I agree with Tyger. I made a Symphonic/Sonic Dom and hated it. Terrible pairing. Cones are horrible in melee range and Symphonic is just about all cones. But I loved my Symphonic/Dark Controller. I slotted for range bonuses to make those cones go far and deep. And then I added Ice mastery for some extra cold cone damage. Rev and Fluffy make a great controlling duo and add lots of survivability.
  7. But Naomi, after a hard day of pressing buttons to defeat evil doers in the game I like to relax by pressing buttons to defeat evil ideas in the forums.
  8. What the heck is Adzeic? Closest thing I could find is an Integrated Chip (IC) from a company called Adze. Good one! So good that I have a Demon/Thermal MM on another server with that name. I went with Shield/Axe and named him Iconic Flea. Right now it's kind of a pun for Eye-conic, but I plan to add homage costumes for a bunch of Iconic Shield or Axe bearers.
  9. I want to make a new Axe tank but unsure of what to pair it with. My leading candidate right now is Electric, but I've also thought of Shield, Rad, and Bio. Was also considering grabbing fold space to add to Axe Cyclone's vacuum. Any thoughts or builds anyone wants to share? Bonus points for anyone who can come up with a good "________ic Flea" name for this Axe tanker!
  10. The Atlas map had a Halloween overlay. It should be gone now and the map back to normal. Not sure what the problem what FF could be.
  11. I bought one for 3,333,333 and put it up for 1, and it sold for 1,000,000. *Shrug* Nothing to see here. Move on. https://y.yarn.co/f8cff73e-70c4-4037-a5dd-35d3e5df188d.mp4
  12. Last in to close it out!
  13. Necromancy got buffed in Page 5! 😜
  14. I think it's a good idea. I don't mind people running streams, but I don't want to be on them.
  15. The OG devs wanted you to travel through their snazzy zones to see all the Easter eggs they left for you to find.
  16. What are the TFs that are run most often? My guess would be Posi, Yin, ITF, Apex, Tin Mage, and Market Crash. What do all of these have in common? They can be sped in less than 30 minutes and kill most take 60-90 minutes. They have minimum zone changes. They have huge numbers of critters to mow down. They have one or more interesting AV/GM fights. They have good to great rewards for completing. It's fine to have some shorter and some longer, some simpler and some more complex. But the TFs named above seems to hit the sweet spot that makes them popular with just about everyone.
  17. And I think it is not. Merit Rewards act as a price cap. Removing them completely would lead to rampant inflation. Not to mention everyone that hoards merits or PAPs would just have them disappear. No, sir. I don't like it.
  18. There's no set amount of time required or expected. The testers are volunteers just like the devs are volunteers and as such have work, family, and life constraints that may vary. Edited to add: Testing is also very bipolar. Months may go buy with nothing new to test and then other times it's non-stop new things being added everyday, sometimes several times a day. Most people just focus on one thing or another because it's near impossible to test everything,
  19. It's me, isn't it? Fleas ruin everything.
  20. While I think that might be true for some people, for many others that leads to an argument about the reasoning, which you acknowledge in your thread. Almost all of the argument about the reasoning is armchair quarterbacking of how the reasons are wrong or invalid or not as good as some posters reason. All without ever even logging into the test server to try out the changes. So while I personally like additional transparency and communication, I can't really blame them. It would be nice to have a dev summation at the end of testing that discusses their reasons and goals.
  21. Neiska: I am not a dev, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn . . . once . . . before COVID. Anyway, I think it is fair to say that they did take non-inf rewards into account when they initially removed incarnate XP and Vet rewards from AE and then switched that to remove conversion of Emps to Reward Merits. Why would they do such a thing? Well, I think it may have had something to do with your theoretical numbers, but tweaked a bit in the other direction. What happens when one player runs AFK farms of 2 characters on each server all day, everyday, at 100 million per hour? That would be 2 accounts x 5 servers x 100 million/hour x 24 hours = 24 billion a day, plus drops and previously including a bunch of Emps that could be converted to Reward Merits, which in turn could be converted to inf. The 8 people running the ITF generally spend at least a few minutes before starting to build the team and disband afterwards. The Mega-AFK farmer can reset quickly all day long or set up a bot to do it for them. I am not accusing you of doing this. I am stating that I believe some people do this and that level of influence, emp, and merit reward accumulation was game breaking.
  22. Funny. Following my own noob advice I have more billions than I can spend and on average I make a fully kitted out level 50 every month. If I wanted to make a new kitted out 50 everyday I might need to change tactics. That said, I also run some hardmode and some farms and I do sell stuff on the market.
